When you check in with Kelly, you have to ask he how she is (I think you do this through Investigation). Eventually, it'll lead to asking her to dinner in your quarters where you can ask her to take care of your fish while your off on missions.

He is. As I said earlier, Kaidan waits three years for Shepard. After Shepard dies, he still never really gets over it. And then the stuff he says on the date and in the romance scene is just *sigh*

omgosh that pic of the romance... The last conversation I had with him was him leaving to be a spectre and it was more a buddy conversation. hehe So much panic over this romance.

Anyone else laughing their heads off at the questions EDI asks Shepard?


(EDIT: And YES the volume off going through a relay is 10 times louder... I took the game off headset for a bit and it was relatively quiet... then I went through a relay and my mum...across the room... almost jumped out of her seat)

Yes I agree!! His romance was hot! I reloaded it 3 times already lol! I'm replying to see If I can get a different ending. On that point anyone know a link that kinda helps out with that! Played the game so I'm spoilered out already!

I recorded it with Fraps and have it on my computer so I can just sit here and watch it over and over. Wish I had thought and recorded all the conversations with him. I was do busy squeeing in joy and spamming the screen shot button. Oh well, planning to do another play through anyways since I messed up on that one.

All I found about getting a better ending it get your War Assets over 40000. So do all the scans and all the missions,  You can also do MP but its possible to get it high enough without. Some of my friends and I are planning to MP all day today to kick up our scores. I also have headcanoned stuff to add to the ending that I think works with the lore of the endings.

Then...dinner at Appollo's. I cracked. So far, I've only hit rock bottom with emotion 4 times. Im glad they turned him around finally. That was nice writing and a lovely scene. I really needed it, cause I was about to start my FemShep/Garrus profile instead.

Well i've now completed my playthrough and god i loathe those endings, i want to vomit on something, just plain terrible, think im just gonna pretend that after the last squad mate chat on earth is where it ends. Rest of the game rocked though, well though it was annoying having to wait so long to get kai back, i was stalking that damn hospital!
So im gonna cheer myself up with more screenies!

The Kaidan romance is so good! Although, it did feel a little dry somewhere in the middle where you can't really talk to him much. Maybe I'm just selfish and want more Kaidan though. <3 But let's be honest? Who wouldn't?!

And despite my romance frustrations (I'm in the 'dry spell' apparently) it's great having him back in the squad. That level he took in badass has made him a biotictechtank, and I am more than ok with that! Shep + Kaidan + Vega = bad guys melting away, even if Shep's more than a little distracted. And it's canon that she likes to watch him leave now, hee Her player -also- staring during fights totally hasn't gotten me, I mean Shep *cough* nearly killed or anything, nope! XD

The first time you talk to him in the hospital, he apologizes.  I thought it was really sweet.   But (highlight for spoiler):  honestly, you should let him leave permanently if it's not good enough. You get war assets, which is more than fans of some of the ME2 LIs get, and they get treated even worse (see: Jacob).

Is the mission to go back to the citadel to investigate Udina the quest line where you get kaidan back?

Ok, here's a question:

Does anyone know if it's possible to go into a save editor like Gibbeds and flag something so that the game thinks you got Kelly to take care of your fish but really didn't when you actually played? I seriously DO NOT want to play ME2 again right now.

All I have to say about Jacob is:

1. I'm seriously not surprised.
2. I'm glad the guy's happy. At least someone will get to be when this is all over.

Which honestly, I am more than a little miffed about... why choose to lock us out of something just because we didnt want to flirt, I don't get that.... plus... I want my fish.

Okay, I'm trying to figure out where I messed up and really hoping I don't have to restart the whole game because of this. I'm trying to romance Kaidan with m!Shep. The one thing I missed doing was giving him the gift. Other than that, I've been picking the paragon options, our bond is solid. I found him at the cafe (didn't get an email for that one, just stumbled into him), and instead of the romance dialogue I got the friendship stuff, with Shepard saying Kaidan's like a brother. So is this irreparable? Do I have to go back to the first Act in the hospital?

Heh... seems you do have to do some quests before others...
Was too eager to see kaidan again and now I have to reload to a save 10 hours ago laughs...
Note to self.. Do sidequests first so people dont get blown up....
But hey I saw kaidan again lol..

And careful of the glitches...quick save lots and if something doesn't work right off ...reload... also do not jump the desk in the holding dock and go through the door.. you'll fall through the citadel and end up in the presidiu, commons lol.

I think we should get to know them first...and make sure they're safe .
