I would hate a pregnancy ending. My Shep isn't' having any kids.
I would just like a happy ending that gives you a feeling of hope and accomplishment and that it actually mattered that you spent all that time gathering war assets. I would like Shep to be alive and not separated from her crew and LI, and seeing them on a planet, preferrably Earth, where we are given the impression that not everything is completely lost and destroyed and that one day things can rebuild.
Some closure on what happened to the rest of the galaxy, and what other crewmates did afterwards, would be appreciated and would be totally fine to have as texts.

I'm surprised BW didn't see this coming, honestly. They have to have known that there would be a lot of people who wanted a happy ending for their Sheps.

I'd sort of like one that's a bit of a reverse of Mars. One where if your Shep lives, your LI has to find you and dig you out of the rubble and rush you to the hospital, rescue you for once. Maybe have the game end with a black screen, loud breathing and flickering of eyes (basically we're seeing Shep wake up from his/her perspective), and before the blurry images can clear, the screen fades to black again but not quite before you hear a voice say "Dr., she's waking up!" (maybe your LI if you had one).

That line there could have so many implactions, especaly if you played the first game and had Kaidan/Ashely saying it, it could me that the games where just the beacon showing shep the future or a possible one?:?
sorry my spelling is bad

Agreed, I want something a little more definitive.

Well, I would think that if there are scenes of you being put in a hospital in obviously very bad shape that even though the last bit where you wake up mirrors the part after Eden Prime in ME1, it wouldn't leave open the doors too much. It wouldn't for me anyhow; for me, it would be more like an echo of where things started. A cycle coming full circle if you will.

And head canon can take over from there.

Exactly. It just seems so simple. We're not asking for a lot. Having a closure with some hope and some happiness (in the face of all the death and destruction) would've been amazing....one of the many possible good endings I've read from fans on BSN. Bioware should hire some of you.

Okay still on my first play through. Been spoiled already so no worries at the momment. Has anyone experienced a dialog in Kaidens cabin after they had their dinner date, When he tells her I don't mean to be unprofessional but I can't stop grinning? It's so cute.

With the hospital scenes then:
THIS! That would be perfect, at least for me, because it leaves the end open enough that what happends after that is all your own head canon

Spoiler about endings (highlight):
I haven't finished my game, but I know the endings since last week. At first I didn't want believe it, but now... :?
I think headcanon would not be enough for me, hopefully they are fixing some things.

We must fight!

I had hoped that I could finally put Mass Effect to rest and I could finally stop fighting for the parts I loved in this series (mainly Kaidan). But I guess we gotta fight one more war before that.

I just put Kaidan in the hospital! *cries*

Ugh. I hate having to play practically 1/3 of the game without him. All the good missions like the genophage cure, I wanted Kaidan around.....

Yeah, thats another thing I have a gripe with in ME3. We finally get the VS back, and then they are knocked out for a good portion of the game. When we finally get them back its in the second half. Would have been nice if they had the romances back like in ME1 where they span the entire length of the game.

It was nice there was a good amount of ambient dialogue and to see squadmates conversing, but I eventually felt like I barely ever talked to anybody more than a couple times, minus Liara

Yeah, war, I know

During the game, I took Kaidan on every mission... was anyone upset that he never "saved" Shep? It was always Liara or Tali pulling you up form the "fatal falls." I thought it was kinda lame.

Im glad i wasnt the only one! i was like omg Kaidan i thought you loved me?!? lol

I had a friend over last night and they saw my copy of ME3 on my table.

Friend: Oh, cool! You got it. Did you play it yet?

Me: Started it, but deleted the pt and decided to redo my ME2 game instead.

Friend: Mind if I play it?

Me: NO! >.< *snatches there hand away*

Friend: o.0

Me: trust me, just don't -_-;

***SPOILERS***

I wasnt happy with the ending at all! I was so mad, im playing it over but i know i STILL wont be happy with the ending. I would of liked something final as well. Maybe even Her coming up from the rubble and Kaidans hand reaching out to her.. dont even need to see his face, the smile on Shepard would of been great! But no, they have to destroy the relays, kill me and IF i do live im still separated  from my LI cause the damn Relays are destroyed.

Bioware!! Why would you end a series like that, and why didnt anyone step in that worked there and said NO WAY!! You cant end it like that! Give these damn people closure! They deserve it!!

That is one of the most rage-inducing aspects of the ending...the whole situation with the Normandy makes no sense....:?

hello fellow kaidan fans :D silent viewer here, but now i have to ask something.

i've seen some put a sentence in their signature, that they support better ending DLC. is there maybe a chance via Twitter to show the bioware peeps what we want? xD

sorry if this is stupid xD i was just asking myself if they see it when we put something in our signatures here =3

I got so depressed. The whole Mass Effect serie ruined for me by this ridiculous ending.
I just wanted to ask how I can add a signature, I cannot find it anywhere, perhaps im just blind. I want a better ending!

Have any of the devs talked about the endings yet? I'm just wondering how they'll explain it.
