Am I seriously the only one who doesn't play MP? I mean, really? The only way to get the 'happy ending' is with MP, so I'm being forced to shell out additional money for a not as crappy ending. I knew there was going to be MP in this game but I didn't know it was going to be mandatory when it wasn't even in the first 2. It's as bad as the transition of KotOR from X-Box to computer/single-player to MMO.

No, you need to be able to convince TIM not to kill Anderson, and you need an EMS of at least 4,000 I think. I couldn't get my EMS high enough to attempt it with just SP, so I'm having to do MP to have a chance. But, I got really close. However, there were some things my Shep wasn't able to do. I couldn't broker a Geth/Quarian peace, and I had two bugged quests on the Citadel that I couldn't finish.

Had I been able to do those two things, I might have been able to pull it off without needing MP. And, I don't need a lot of MP. I've only run about four or five matches and I'm just under my target. I'm thinking that if I get lucky and win a couple more bronze matches, I'll be good to try the ending.

How do you convince him not to? I did full paragon and choose all paragon options and Anderson was shot and then passed out right before the Catalyst showed up.

The Walking Dead one was done on purpose since they teamed up to market ME3 during their breaks for a couple of weeks. So yeah...that one isn't a problem at all and I quite like it.

Now the rest.....that is a completely different story. <_<

i like how when you go to bioware's twitter they obviously dont answer all the people who are pissed about the ending. just the poor saps who havent beat the game yet to know just how horribly it ends

This is what Mike Gamble said on twitter, "you mean there wasn't a happy ending. You mean that there wasn't enough variety in the endings in terms of large outcome"

Again Mind = Blown! :blink::o

But he also said "There are many different endings. We wouldn’t do it any other way. How
could you go through all three campaigns playing as your Shepard and
then be forced into a bespoke ending that everyone gets?"

The game he is talking about....certainly isn't the one we're all playing.

I also love mac walters' "I'm excited about the Mass Effect franchise after ME3."
.
What future?! You killed or stranded everyone and then blew up the relay system. What are you talking about? Did you ship the wrong game?!

*sigh*

Sometimes I feel like these people weren't involved at all with the game and someone was just like "Yeah this will be awesome and everyone will be happy" and they just went with it

Given the backlash I wonder if they'll do DLC ala Fallout 3 that changes the end to extend it at all...?

I'm wondering if they'll do anything at all since they did reviews of the game with the whole "The ending will anger some people". Though when they said that, they probably weren't expecting a majority of the fanbase to get enraged over the endings.

The crazy thing was I was actually ok with the fallout 3 ending. Mostly cause I wasn't really loved by anyone. I was just a stereotypical hero sacrifice. I had friends but not like Mass Effect.

In ME3, my companions were a step away from crying before the last battle. When Kaidan and Shepard were talking they were crying. How can you expect me to be ok with leaving them? We can't even frickin die together? OMG I HATE THESE ENDINGS!!! Image IPB

Kinda wondering that myself.  I mean, the ending purposefully takes the two characters you have the highest relationship value with and strands them on a remote planet.  How is that not fan-disservice?

Fallout 3 got a DLC that rewrote the ending which I believe is a first.

There were two possible endings, one had you sacrificing yourself for the good of the wasteland. The other was basically being a traitor...

They created DLC that expanded the end and had a doctor save you from the chamber before you died. They technically could do something similar with ME3 where they discover some wormhole or something so Shep can be reunited with her crew.

Okay, so I haven't finished it yet and scared to death too. I've already teared up a handful of times at certain events that I'm not sure that can be avoided so I know the ending is going to just be plain BRUTAL. Anyways...on to good ol' Kaidan news.....

******ALERT SPOILERS********

.....love the one little scene where femshep and Kaidan are having dinner at the Citadel and he proclaims his love, grabs her hand puts it to his check then kisses her palm. Swoon.

Ah, well...any hope we will get better endings? What do you guys think? Is this it? Done? See ya? Or is there any possible way they will try and add some DLC?

I'm considering it done.  Mostly because the devs seem completely unperturbed by the fact that most people were monumentally disapointed by the endings.

Seriously?  They scaned in faces for two characters, but using an online stock photo face pisses you off?  How is it any different?  Sheploo, Samara?  Come on.

The human hand with 3 fingers chopped off is what pisses me off  And, to be fair, Sheploo is human, Samara is a blue human.

I don't get why Bioware just didn't put the face model in the actual game.
