I saw Mordin's death, the endings, Thane's death, the kid in the beginning and nothing. It was sad, but didn't make me cry 0.o

I teared up when I thought Grunt was going to die.

FINALLY got to the date with Kaidan! I LOOOOOVED it! It was just great, Kaidan finally told what my Shep's been waiting for all these years  And Kaidan's face expression when he says that :wub::wub: Yaaaaaay! :D My poor Shep finally has his Kaidan :o

Grats, IS!  Wasn't that a sweet moment?  I saved the game just before my maleShep went to Apollo's Cafe and have replayed that save sooooo many times!

I was a blubbering fool and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Of course that was due in large part to the muscial score. If the music had been less powerful, I would have needed far fewer kleenex.

Spoilery question: does anyone know how to get the ending where shep might live?

Im just going to pretend they do a dlc kinda like the Normandy Wreck Mission.
Normany and crew somehow make it back to where Shep died to put up a monument - using I dunno momentos from her cabin.
If Shep died, they well, bury whats left and say farewell.
If Shep is alive they find them again.
Thats how my games will end heh. Head-cannon is about the only thing that will let me play this again.

Crimson... You should have seen me bawling my eyes out with Mordin and Thane. With Thane it was the end of the prayer that did it to me.

Isaac.. YAY :) Im so glad they added that in for all that wanted it! 'bout time

you have to have at least 4000 ready-ness rating and choose to destroy the reapers

Is it possible to have Anderson live if you have the 5000 rating with the destroy option?

Yeah, it was kind of funny because before ME3 came out I was explaining how I didn't like ME2 as much as the first one, because it was all about the characters and I just wasn't as attached to the ME2 characters as I was to the ME1 characters.

And then ME3 was like: oh, really?  And Mordin, Grunt (before the end of the mission), Thane, Legion...  all had me crying.

It was amazing  Along with seeing Wrex & Eve watch the genophage cure being released and catching my space hamster it's easily one of the most rewarding moments for my Shep so far in the game  (I only just finished Genophage/Citadel act, so still alot to come!)

He waited so long :crying: Even with the existing endings, I'm still very happy my poor Shep will finally get to have his love for at least a bit, he deserves it :crying:<3

I watched the s/s Kaidan romance on youtube and I have to say I'm really, really impressed with how well they did it. The dinner date was wonderful. <3

Hmmm, I thought I did but maybe not.  I'll have to double check that. *shrugs*  Here goes playthrough no.2.

On a different note, I'm thinking about writing an alternate ending to ME3 - nothing as fluffy as my previous me3 ficlet, but something darker along the lines of what we now know me3 is and one that makes sense.  I know there will be sacrifice, but since I'm in the very begninnings of brainstorming, I'm not sure just how dark to go.  What would my fellow Kaidanites like to read?  Any feedback would be helpful since I'm doing this for all of us.  And of course to maintain my sanity in the face of cringeworthy endings.Image IPB

Hello Kaidanites quick question... How much rep do you need to convince Kaidan at the Udina mission? Got the game yesterday, doing the Sur'Kesh mission now.

Did you stop the illusive man from immediately killing Anderson? If not then it needs to be 5000. Also make sure it's the EMS rating total military strength one.

What future?! You killed or stranded everyone and then blew up the relay system. What are you talking about? Did you ship the wrong game?!

*sigh*

The other comment made about what they had in store for the game would make people want to hold on to their copy of ME3 had me guessing a DA2 type scenario ... same "universe" but at a different time/place, with a new hero that is affected by your save game (and probably with a bunch of choices made null and void or canonised and explained away :pinched:).

No idea about specific number but if you visit him in the hospital and buy him present you will most likely have zero problems convincing Kaidan. Really, the whole Udina thing has been blown out of propotion a bit. It's pretty much the same situation as the argument with Wrex in ME1 and no one really had much problem convincing Wrex. And considering that the Reputation system in ME3 makes it possible for you to play totally morally-mixed character without getting locked out of colored Charm/Intimidate options, you would really have to try to fail the Udina scene ;) So nothing to worry :)

So far Shep and Kaidan were quarelling one sec and then lovey dovey the next... But he said something about not seeing anyone and he still cares. Guess I'm good then.

Just worried since during my first ME playthrough, my Sheploo happily went to Virmire and then Ash shot Wrex... lol so much for being a Renegon.

Kaidan. Kaidan, no.

|:

Has anyone noticed that a few times Kaidan talks about other women? This is in a playthrough where Kaidan is my LI. First is EDI,which is technically prior getting back together, now it's the ArdatYakshi. It kind of amuses me because if you've been loyal to Kaidan and paragon, its quite clear that Shep wants Kaidan back (for example, the ass staring). So for my headcanon, Shep would probably be all smiles in front of Kaidan and then breaking styluses everywhere while trying to figure out a way to get rid of EDI's body unit (but not doing it because she's pure paragon and suddenly she regrets that).

He says those things then I imagine off camera my Shepard smacking him over the back of the head.

Kaidan's definitely more assertive and up front about things now than he was in ME1

A lot more aggressive too.

Ok I've asked twice and no one has answered me lol I'll ask again thn I'll give up. :wizard:

Got to the first hospital scene, the dialogue seems to me like I never romanced him before. He says he likes my shep and mentioned everything they've been through minus ilos. Is that normal ir is it a bug?

Normal, I think...  I noticed that, too.  Seems to me he's still too much in Horizon-type denial at this point.  No worries, hon!  It gets better!  Image IPB

Yeah, I've read that on the forums before. The original story was the dark mass energy thingy, but then some of the authors quit and they had to come up with something new.
It seems to me that if the story was planned since ME1 then there must have been a finished script that BW would have ownership of, though, but then again I'm not too familiar with how it is in the video game writing business. Maybe it was just ideas and not a finished script and the remaining writers weren't able to turn the ideas into a game.

Too bad, I really think the original story would have worked better. I'm not a big fan of the Reapers being a natural part of the life cycle-idea.
