Hey fellow kaidan lovers! I could not find kaidan for the big goodbye scene! Once I realized I missed him I could not go back! Where is he so I won't miss him this time!

The only thing I liked about the ending was the Faunts song. That shouldn't be right. The galaxy is already more than half destroyed. It is so much to ask that Shep gets to spend it with her friends and love interest? Poo on you BioWare.

Well I forced myself to finish it.
Took.. 61 hours lol
I ended up having to do a bit of MP to get my WA up - its official I suck hehe
Its a good thing I got all my sadness over the endings out before I finished... I was completely numb when I saw them.

As for kaidan and garrus being on the normandy.. Im still just flabbergasted.. but in my head Im thinking they got pulled out after you hear the army guys asking if anyone got out.. some were alive maybe whoever was left got them out... carefully lol. Or Harby was a little distracted by Shep being beamed up.

As for Joker feeling with the ship - hell look at whats heading for him Id flee too lol.

I got the shep alive at the end.. and I guess I feel a little better, like I said I think I am just mroe numb than anything. I didn't need a sunshine and rainbows ending. I jsut needed one with one second, one shot, with them standing side by side at the end. Thats what I wanted anyway heh.

I dont think a shep rescue DLC would be on the cards - Shep is dead in most cases. Would be nice if they did a Normandy recue, play as the crew and at the very end when the alliance comes to rescue if Shep is alive they step off the ship, if they arnt, its someone else. Im going to ask the keepers to repair the mini relay on the citadel.. maybe figure out someway to get to them. lol.. We dont know exactly where they are.. lets hope its erm... somewhat close, or there is a supership out there somewhere.

EDIT:: Did anyone notice there still seems to be systems locked out at the end of their game? I had a few that seemed to be the joins in the red lines when you plot a jmp - but wern't there. The synthesis end is kinda sweet.

I don't think that's Mark Meer.  But yes, Hale sounded like she was about to start sobbing at any moment.

I first did From Ashes with Vega, and then I rolled back my game later and waited until Kaidan was back in my party to do it again.  There's definitely more dialogue, reminiscing about Jenkins and Nihlus, and Kaidan puts together the Ilos connection at one point.  It's very welcome to see the extra effort put into content for the VS.

Thanks for letting me know! It's nice to have something to look forward to. Bioware surpassed my expectations with Kaidan. But did they ever drop the ball with the endings. I'd would rather have waited another 6 months to get a great ending. I WANNA FEEL EPIC AGAIN!

For my second playthrough, whenever that is (meaning probably in a few hours once I'm over the shock, because the game is dang amazing aside from the end) I'm going to do the same and hold off on as many missions as I possibly can until I have Kaidan in my party. I think I'd finished about half of the game before I got him back.

On a sidenote (since someone mentioned achievements), are the ME1 achievements glitched? I've beaten the game 4 times, NG+ twice, reached level 60, and did every mission and sidequest aside from the Asari and Turian treasure hutning ones. Yet I don't have the achievement "Completionist". I'm also missing the achievements for beating most of the game with Kaidan, yet he was with me in EVERY SINGLE MISSION that I did (except Virmire). Same goes for Ashley, I should have her achievement too since I brought her everywhere with Kaidan and I up until Virmire.

Yeah i wasnt happy with this at the time lol. I felt we should have been there for the rekindling. Lots of squees to be had. Though I'm more than happy with what we get to see.

Same.  That one was so sad, especially when you remember that he and his father may have had problems - the "He was proud, eventually" line in ME1.

And have to laugh at one thing in the dinner scene.  Right after he kisses Shepard's palm (unf!), Shepard says something about returning to the Normandy ASAP.  Kaidan's response was basically "nah, let me finish my dinner first".    Bloody tease!

Just did the romance scene, and it was even better than I expected!! Unfortunately now all I have to look forward to are the goodbyes and then the horrible endings.

However, Kaidan did just disappear on me once after I said goodbye to the ME2 crew. I walked out of the building, and he literally went "poof."

I'm pretty sure to get the Ally achievements, you still have to finish "most of the game." Meaning, you can't just run the main quests with them, you have to do pretty much all the sidequests and story quests with those squadmates. Also, you can only get one of the ally achievements per playthrough, so if you use the same two squaddies, and their mission counts are the same, you get neither. So make sure you always favor one in the entire game.

I loved every second of the Alenko content in 3.... it was everything I could have hoped for to make up for the heartbreak in 2.  
Then I finished the game

Yeah, I was surprised when I couldn't find him after I went into that room. In fact, I reloaded my game before Anderson's rescue just so I could see him again.

Edited for additional input: It could be possible that disappearing Kaidan is another glitch though. When Kaidan disappeared on me, I first saw a red parenthesis and then nothing at all.

For me, with the current endings.. there is absolutely NO replayability for this game.. if thats what we get.. and I normally play thru my ME games quite a bit...
I mean whats the point if everything leads to that exact same ending... laaaame

Now that ive had 8 hrs to mull things over after finishing my first play through.. I'm going to live in hope that the rumour about the 'Rescue DLC' ends up being true cause Bioware has to know with current fan feelings that people, even though they will **** and moan about paying for a happy ending, they will still go spend money on it...
If they dont do service to their fans and DONT fix this game.. I cant see myself EVER buying another Bioware game again.

The endings felt like someone from EA walked into the offices and cracked a whip and said.. OI we have to ship this game in March so just write w/e you want and we'll fix it up with DLC later, because there is no freaking way that they finished this game properly...
I mean I wouldve waited another 3 months to get a properly finished game with my happy ending.. and tbh.. all they needed to do was have Shep's head pop out after Joker/Garrus/Kaiden at the end.. and I wouldve been fine with that...

Huh i just got a new convo with kai that i didnt get at all in my first playthrough, after rescuing jacob. Sat in the crew quarters (unromanced shep if that makes a difference) and he starts off by flirting asks a bit about TIM and then says jokers been offering him tips for poker. Last playthrough i rushed to the citadel date scene asap, im wandering now if i put it off a while longer, will he have more convos?

Rescue DLC? Please. Pleeeeeeeeease! For the sake of my mental health, I need a better ending DLC. Seriously, I've been crying for three hours. And just when I thought I was over it, I decided to listen to my iPhone, and the first song that played was "I Was Lost Without You" from the ME3 soundtrack, which is the song playing during any romantic scenes. I may be a tad overemotional at the moment, but I still need a different resolve.

Disappearing Kaidan? I had that happen once, sorta. It was during a shuttle ride, all you could see were Kaidan's boots, yet he and Shep were having a conversation. I always bring my Imaginary Friend Kaidan along with me on my daily missions!
