Huh i just got a new convo with kai that i didnt get at all in my first playthrough, after rescuing jacob. Sat in the crew quarters (unromanced shep if that makes a difference) and he starts off by flirting asks a bit about TIM and then says jokers been offering him tips for poker. Last playthrough i rushed to the citadel date scene asap, im wandering now if i put it off a while longer, will he have more convos?

Probably. I romanced him and got this convo.

Yes i must agree!! i have a horrible crush on Kaidan! I cried BALLED at the end and just kept saying "NO Kaidan! Why do you have to keep me away from Kaidan! i want my kaidan!!" So im glad im not the only once crazy about this man! He sets my standards really high! My boyfriend laughs, says i have a problem! Im in denial.. which is the first sign i do have a problem! lol but i dont care, gotta have my Kaidan!

Disappearing Kaidan? I had that happen once, sorta. It was during a shuttle ride, all you could see were Kaidan's boots, yet he and Shep were having a conversation. I always bring my Imaginary Friend Kaidan along with me on my daily missions!

Yes there are less "conversations" than the other characters thats for sure, i think while on the Normandy i only have 2 convos with him before the romance scene and he only comes off the Normandy for the date, otherwise hes not on the Citadel anywhere! AND hes gone for almost all of act one! But when i do see him im happy as i can be! i have watched the romance scenes more than i can count, i recorded them all on my cellphone!

I think after Shepard gets hit by the beam it's a hallocination or indoctrination. If you think about it, it actually makes sense.
If you get the ending where Shepard lives, she's surrounded by concrete, it looks like Earth, not th citadel.
Shepard is wearing different clothes, has infinite ammo.
Theres absolutely no reason the people on the ground with you would be on the Normandy. I went through the different endings and it's always the same people I took with me that are on the Normandy.
Vega says "Do you hear that hum? Is that just me?"
At the beginning when you're trying to get the boy out of the duct, when Anderson interrupts you, it sounds like something is growling. Also, why did the boy make a noise trying to get out of the duct but not make a noise leaving? He just kind of disappears.
There's more and I may be grasping at straws but I think Bioware has something up their sleeve.

Yep, nearly everything happens before Udina-event, same for Ash. I had hope it may continue that way since I really enjoyed all those convos - just to get shot down. No dialogue, not even a hint there's some love between Shep and Ash. Pretty much sad.
I'm a guy that heavily relies on headcanon to get Ashley/Shepard running the way I'm used to do in ME1. Now ... in ME3 it's not possible since lack of interaction.
Do you feel the same for Kaidan? Lack of interaction destroying headcanon?

Sure. But 3 scenes of 5 minutes each (or so) in a game with 50+ hours of gameplay?

Absolutely! I loved how in ME1 and 2 after every main story arc mission you could go and have a conversation with your squad, now its not there. I dunno i loved the game but some parts just seem too rushed for me!
