Let me join you with that, I can bring cookies with frown-y faces on them.

Make them chocolate chip, consider it my last wish before I join you in the chucking.

Sorry, all I have are chocolate chip without the chocolate chips, because I ate all the chocolate chips in my depression prior to baking the cookies.

Totally understandable.  No chocolate here so I think I'll be drinking tonight.

All I can say guys is please join the movement. The more people the better. I was deeply depressed after I found out about the ME3 endings, it killed my last runthrough of ME and ME2. I've come to terms with what happened now, but I won't accept it.

We've got 20000+ on the bioware poll and almost 10000 likes on the facebook page. The important thing is to not give up and keep fighting for a better ending. It's the only thing we can do now.

Mass Effect changed my view on gaming and gave me characters that I've never felt closer to in any sort of entertainment. I won't let it die like this.

I'll be on for multiplayer in about 15 minutes, if you want to play.

I totally support the hallucination thing. It doesn't make ANY sense to have Kaidan and Liara (in my case) end up on the Normandy but Shepard doesn't. Why the frick was Joker fleeing? Anderson just kind of...collapses when he dies, no outward injuries to be seen. Shep's vision gets all blurred at the end. There's the kid who's been plaguing her dreams that suddenly appears as the key to the battle and the god of all.
Either someone at Bioware was drinking something really strong, or Shep's having a mind blast.

On a side note and it's kind of sad, and I do feel a little sorry for bioware atm
Word of mouth sales/ after release sales may not be a huge part... but theya re going to get hit.
Mum plays a few online games she was telling her mates about my reaction. the reaction of fans. So a few have gone and looked here at the boards... so far all who have read have said they were going to buy the game - ME fans, have the other two... now, after seeing the reaction to the game on the internet they won't buy it.
Now they are telling more people... so the news is spreading.

SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just finished the game and LOLd hard when I saw Kaidan walking out of crashed Normandy in a casual outfit. I mean,.... How much less logical this entire Normandy thing could've been??? FOrget about teleporting to Normandy in the first place. When did he have time to change clothes? What is going on??? O.o

I really wanted to like the endings, but the Normandy part is just ????????

SPOILERS

I think after Shepard gets hit by the beam it's a hallocination or indoctrination. If you think about it, it actually makes sense.

If you get the ending where Shepard lives, she's surrounded by concrete, it looks like Earth, not th citadel.
Shepard is wearing different clothes, has infinite ammo.
Theres absolutely no reason the people on the ground with you would be on the Normandy. I went through the different endings and it's always the same people I took with me that are on the Normandy.
Vega says "Do you hear that hum? Is that just me?"
At the beginning when you're trying to get the boy out of the duct, when Anderson interrupts you, it sounds like something is growling. Also, why did the boy make a noise trying to get out of the duct but not make a noise leaving? He just kind of disappears.

There's more and I may be grasping at straws but I think Bioware has something up their sleeve.

I've been fully supportive of this theory for a couple of days as well. Because I too woke up on the ground surrounded by concrete. There are so many strange things that just don't add up.

Speaking of which, did anyone else carefully analyze every soldier's body during the slow-mo scene leading to the Citadel? I was so worried that Kaidan was one of them that I died three times trying to find his body instead of killing the husks.

I told my b/f that I wasn't going to finish ME3 and he asked my why. I told him that the game's endings make every choice you ever made in the series completely invaild, plot holes everywhere, are all exactly the same, and are basically all ripped from Deus Ex Machina.

He called me weird for not bothering to finish the game. My reaction:

"Play the entire series, see the endings, then get back to me." <_<

Absolutely! I loved how in ME1 and 2 after every main story arc mission you could go and have a conversation with your squad, now its not there. I dunno i loved the game but some parts just seem too rushed for me!

Agree with this completely. After every mission I'd run straight to wherever Kaidan was and was always gutted when it didn't enter conversation mode, with it's lovely camera angles and dialogue choices.

I'd also religiously check my terminal, ask Samantha, and check the thingy in the cabin you use to summon every other character to your lair, just incase Kaidan wanted to talk... Sometimes I'd even visit every area of the Citadel with the sole purpose of seeing if Kaidans name would appear on the map. :P

It was especially agonising during the redunkulously long period between the Citadel romance-initiator and the actual romance scene, between which there was very little indication that my mshep and Kaidan were even an item...  The payoff was worth it though, and the final mission interactions were beautiful. :D

... And then it ended. <_<

I like the exposure we are getting, though everyone seems to be calling us "entitled" because we want a better ending. (they said the same thing when people wanted the Prothean squaddie to be free to all). I wrote my thoughts about it here

The jist of it is, we may seem entitled, but it is just because we love the game and characters so much. It is like BioWare has gone bi-polar on us and said, "closure? I got your closure right here (cue crotch grab)"

If someone I loved suddenly flipped out and changed everything I thought I knew about them, I'd demand to know why. Not because I am entitled to know, but because I care for them. I want Shep to live a happy life with Kaidan, but if she has to die, I want to know why Kaidan suddenly ends up on the Normandy when he was running right behind me. I want to make sense out of why the reapers choose to brutalize organics just to save them the fate of being destroyed by their inevitable synthetic creations. I want to be able to tell that kid, "look a-hole, nothing in the universe is certain, so maybe synthetics and organics can live in peace, so I reject your stupid plans."

@jijeebo

As I said before - the game's length is approx 50+ hours. And all we got is something like 30 minutes of interaction with Ash or Kaidan - half of that interaction is crammed into Earth + Mars + Hospital while the other half is Udina + rest of game. 30 minutes out of 50 hours ... that's it.

Garrus, Vega, Traynor etc got far more screen time & dialogue ... and felt like real crew. The VS lacks that feeling - Ash & Kaidan feel more like an extra.
Why keeping the VS if not for romancing purposes? That's the question ...

As ar as I'm concerned, the romance was beautifully done. Really warm and heartbreaking at the same time. Gotta say that I watched other romances on youtube and besides Liara's we got the best romance. I was deeply moved by some lines and for me it is one of best (no wait...actually the best ) love stories ever made in this media... and about the ending...well... i choose to believe in hallucination theory...makes me sleep better at night ;)

They can say that cause you know what? I am entitled. I spent hundreds of hours an hundreds of dollars on these endings. I deserve an ending that isn't complete ****.

Does anyone know how many copies of ME3 sold? I'm curious about that number versus the number of people participating in this better endings campaign.

I knew that we had to get over 5k points for the supposed 'happy ending' but I was gutted when I saw this ending.. it didnt make ANY sense.. ask Silver how I was.. i talked to her for like half an hr just after I finished playing.. I was just devestated.. then depressed, then pissed, then sad again cause I kept listening to soundtrack hahaha

Then I got given hope that maybe they will fix the endings with DLC which I will pay for with no problem at all, I love this series just that much..!!

I think that most people who pay for a new ending DLC.  The real question is if the people at Bioware will take their heads our of their asses. I get the feeling that they'll get their feelings hurt and just ignore the issue.

Why did they think that was a good idea. That we wouldn't be upset with it. I mean seriously, what the hell BioWare, I was waiting for a dark promise kind of moment. I cried my husband thought I was insane.

It's okay. I wanted to shove my face into a half-gallon of ice cream after I beat the game. My husband didn't understand until he completed the game himself. Today, we went out and purchased comfort food together.

Huh i just got a new convo with kai that i didnt get at all in my first playthrough, after rescuing jacob. Sat in the crew quarters (unromanced shep if that makes a difference) and he starts off by flirting asks a bit about TIM and then says jokers been offering him tips for poker. Last playthrough i rushed to the citadel date scene asap, im wandering now if i put it off a while longer, will he have more convos?

Yeah, that was probably the only time Samantha Traynor told me Kaidan wanted to see me. I got excited and rushed over there... saved... and he just told me he wanted a snack on the Citadel. o_O

So I reloaded and triggered the real conversation. I was worried for a second, haha!

@Trinity

Did you have to recreate from scratch? Or could you actually import?

I imported a shep that I had fooled around with in ME2. I thought she looked better. I'm disappointed that I can't use my original femshep.
