Hmm, i tried skipping ahead to the coup so i could get Kaidan back as soon as. Then the Grissom quest disappeared since they died. That sucks, are there any that are safe to leave until after that point :/

Seems a shame Kaidan can't accompany that one, of all of them.

Ditto, I wanted to take Kaidan there so I waited till I got him back but then it disappeared, and I didn't realise that's where Jack was, and went throughout the entire game wondering where Jack was. One of my favourite characters from ME2.
But then she just popped up as an enemy on the Cerberus base. Couldn't believe it, they didn't even put her name on the bloody memorial wall on the Normandy.

not really Namira, the grissom was a timed quest, so is the tuchunka bomb quest and one other i forget... 

as for the love scene.. yeah.. what gives with the different comments... Y HE NO LOVE ME TILL THE END OF TIME!!

he just said he was the luckiest man alive in mine. but on this youtube vid it says he'll love her till the end of time, just rewatched... maybe its cause she didnt choose the additional dialogue and jumped straight to the top right option?

I'll be interested to see the rationalizations of this ending; hopefully it'll be more than "nyah nyah, we're right and you're wrong." Actually no, I take that back. Let people have their happy endings. You set a precedent, not only with the first two Mass Effect games (a precedent of hope), but with a little known game called Dragon Age: Origins. If people wanted their emo Linkin Park endings to prove how cultured and mature they are, they could have them. If people wanted to be the hero, or the villain, they could. If they wanted to marry the goddamn king, save the country, score a wicked killing blow on the dragon, and name their dog Dino, they could do it! Why not here? Hell, you started it!

And apparently my home computer hates the endings so much it refuses to play the game ..even MP and shuts itself down .....must take it to the computer dr over the weekend....my next Monday is going to be a crappy Birthday...thanks Bioware!

you know ive been watching youtube for ALL of the romance scenes.. not just cause im biased, but the Kaidan romance is by far THE best one of the lot, maybe its cause Raphael Sbarge is so brilliant at giving life to this character

I uploaded the save before that like a thousand times so i could rewatch this scene.   In my mind that's how my ending was.

Yeah I did romance him from ME1, Kaidan is the only NPC I romance. He's just perfect

Oh gosh I haven't done a nonLoyal Kaidan playthrough yet, so I wouldn't know how its like in other versions, but I was so amused by Liara's *winkwinknudgenudge* attitude about Kaidan on Mars.

Also Liara was much much more enjoyable in this game.

If they wanted to roll with the indoctrination thing none of the endings should have been the "perfect" one. Instead, Shepard should've broken from this stupid kid's control and argued that the synthetic vs. organic argument was false and that the peace between geth and quarian proved this.

At some point the vision should shatter and a Harbinger VI should appear, the reaper that is strangely absent aside from a 30 second cameo. Harbinger realizing he's been beaten begins threatening Shepard as Shepard goes to activate the Crucible. Reaper ships begin heading towards the citadel to try to stop Shepard. Shepard fully expects to go down with the citadel but then that's when the Normandy appears. The side hatch opens and Shep's LI or closest friend is standing there, offering a hand to help Shepard aboard. Right before activation the Normandy takes off with Shepard.

It's a bit like the destroy ending but this time the Normandy crashes on Earth and the Mass Relays still function so that big ass fleet can go back home again. Show a couple more scenes of other homeworlds seeing the Reapers deactivate. Pan back to the Normany. Hatch opens, out steps Shepard, then LI, then slowly the rest of the crew. They stare out across the once beautiful Earth, devastated but still there. Credits.

That wraps up everything and has a satisfying conclusion. No loose ends. The ending as it is now is impossible to decipher. We can come up with theories but they are just theories. Bioware promised to wrap up everything, they promised no LOST ending, they promised multiple endings. So were these all just marketing lies?

I'm trying not to be pissed off but I'm pissed off. I can't even bring myself to do a 2nd run on the game. Kaid was amazing as usual. My heart is broken.

amen to that...  she actually made me tear up a couple of times

now that ive had 24hrs to calm the hell down, im going to put faith in Bioware to fix this, i'll pay for dlc without a problem, the devs seem excited to go back to work on w/e they are working on, a CM from bioware stated that she thinks its all just some trippy dream event so im feeling  a teensy bit more optimistic now, plus, i get to romance Kaidan all over again and stop before i get to the end of the game hehe

I’m watching love scenes with different characters and all of them, being it Kaidan or Liara or others, tell Shepard how s/he always beat the odds, how s/he accomplished the impossible, how they are convinced that s/he can defeat the Reapers, how many people care and love her/him. And it’s just so heartbreaking to watch this and know that it all means nothing in the end.

I didn't play DA:O when it first came out. Was that how dark promise came about? DLC or was it part of the game, cause for a lifetime with Kaid we can have a demon baby with TIM.

About the endings (and no i haven't finished the game yet lol...so dragging my feet when the computer is working).. i have a couple of problems :

1) the mass relays exploding... wouldn't that take out all of the systems that they're located in like in Arrival where you destroy that relay and take out a whole system of batarians? So really you'd be killing everyone and thing?

2) the geth (made my the quarians) , edi, and the actual prothean stuff aren't/weren't made by the reapers so how/why would they be taken out too? Plus the reapers didn't really explode they just kinda shorted out, died so why would the relays explode? They should just be shorted out too, if anything, and should be repairable...
