the dark promise bit of DA was part of the first game, DA:O picks up after youve killed the Archdemon dragon darkspawn and morrigan gets knocked up with a demon baby

Oh gosh I haven't done a nonLoyal Kaidan playthrough yet, so I wouldn't know how its like in other versions, but I was so amused by Liara's *winkwinknudgenudge* attitude about Kaidan on Mars.

Also Liara was much much more enjoyable in this game.

now that ive had 24hrs to calm the hell down, im going to put faith in Bioware to fix this, i'll pay for dlc without a problem, the devs seem excited to go back to work on w/e they are working on, a CM from bioware stated that she thinks its all just some trippy dream event so im feeling  a teensy bit more optimistic now, plus, i get to romance Kaidan all over again and stop before i get to the end of the game hehe

God, I think of these guys and girls like my sisters and brothers. Liara, Garrus, Wrex, and Tali. I just love them and so my heart doesn't just break because Kaidan doesn't get a happy ending, it's cause they don't get one either. 

They wouldn't run away. I have a feeling that if they found out Shep had died, they'd just recklessly throw themselves into the battle with the Reapers. It's just so OOC that last scene of the Normandy.

lol thanks, I'm kinda thinking EDI is at least repaer influenced cuz of all the crap TIM's been up to.... now it makes me wonder if a quarian or 2 stumbled upon the same stuff... i suppose i shall see.... but still there should be something to where only the reapers are destroyed...

I'm also kinda hoping after the beam stuff is 'their' last attempt at controling shepard... it doesn't make whole sense but at least some.... but Bioware needs to show that ...and at least have the LI, VS, or other squaddy come running up to dig out Shepard with the Normandy coming in to scene right behind in the back ground....hehe

It's also heavily implied by the Catalyst Kid that Shep is Reaper tech influenced too by all those cybernetics Cerberus used to put her back together. So, he seems to be implying that Shep will be killing herself with destroy.

Also, I'm trying to remember, but do we actually see the relay structure itself explode catastrophically or do we just see it overload into a tremendous burst of energy that overloads it? The Alpha Relay's whole structure exploded and released the energy chaotically, but the crucible burst is a focused beam and burst. It may not be the same type of energy as the type that emanted from the Alpha Relay burst. The relays' structure might not be destroyed instead they may only be burned/shorted out and need to be recharged.

Basically, the more you start to think about what the Catalyst Kid tells you, the more lies and contradictions you start to uncover. It's really annoying that Shep doesn't get to challenge Catalyst Kid on some of the bigger ones.

My favorite is if TIM was able to control Shep via indoctrination enough to make her shoot Anderson and the Catalyst Kid later tells her that TIM could never have controlled the Reapers because he too indoctrinated so they already controlled him, why would Catalyst Kid tell Shep that SHE could control the Reapers? And why would she buy that?

Just watched ABC's Once Upon A Time... when is Raphael Sbarge going to be back on it again, he was a regular for quite a few of the first episodes but he hasn't been seen since, though in the latest episode they did reference his character. So hopefully he appears again soon.

I... LOVE THIS! I mean I was drooling all over the ManShep version, but in this one, I love how the FemShep romance gets more dialogue after the "I didn't come here for a quick drink" line. The "I love you, Kaidan" and Kaidan stopping you from leaving... aahhh I wish ManSheps got this, not even modded ManSheps that romanced Kaidan in ME1 get this. I'm so jealous of you FemSheps! This is the first time I saw the FemShep version of the romance scene and I'm so happy that Kaidan is so sweet... the dialogue about the night before Ilos made me squeeee, as did everything else about it.

Kaidan clearly has one of the best romance arcs, if not THE best, of the whole series! 

Anyway... I'm attempting the last part of the game again, from the Illusive Man' base all the way to the end. I didn't have enough Galaxy at War score before starting TIM' base to get the absolute "best" ending, plus I haven't seen it for myself yet.

I said earlier that I'm slowly starting to accept the current endings we have... well, I completely take that back. Talking to my crewmates again made me tear up... all of them saying "goodbye" in some way or another. Especially Kaidan. :'[

My Shepard would never outright accept those choices forced on you in the end. It's just simply out of character. If I have to pay for a DLC to finally give me some closure, so that my choices in the game matter, I would gladly do it. That, plus I don't want to seem entitled and expect BioWare to change anything for free.

It would be super cool of them to release an Ending DLC for free, and would win back a lot of fan favor.  However, they've sold their soul to EA so I doubt they'd be in a position to do that.  EA will see the dollar signs. But I'm with you, I would definitely pay for it.  If they don't fix this mess, then bye bye Bioware. I'm wiping my hands clean.  We're totally done.

Well, you can search for banners (you can search the forums are google for some) then just post in your signature like a regular image.  So, the direct link in between (img) and (/img), where the parantheses are replaced with [ ] .  Hope that makes sense!

I loved Prothy, some of his lines were priceless.
I think I have a thing for Hacket too lol. Love that his character is so much more than just a voice handing out missions now.

On a side note - I need an acheivement for dying 100 times before the end of Mars on insanity.. I should so be blushing right now.. but its fun


Has anyone noticed Kaidan is always glowing blue now, except for non combat areas.

Just posting this to remind those who haven't written a review of the game to go ahead and do so if you've got the time.  Bioware specifically requested reviews from fans, so let's give it to them. Let them know what you liked and didn't like. And if you hated the endings and want a new one, here's your chance to let them know.  I've seen the Kaidanites pull some amazing sh*t off over the past year.  Let's keep standing together and give it all we've got.

Lol, I remember googling the actor's name and the google auto fill said something like, "sexiest voice of mass effect".  Apparently that old guy has quite the following.  And I can definitely see why.
