This second playthrough is actually much more enjoyable than the first. Thing is I actually started crying BEFORE the Grunt and Mordin scene. When I first saw Mordin I was all like "noooo Mordin! Whhhy! I'll find Maelon for you and HE CAN GO ALL KABOOMY INSTEAD OF YOU!" then at Grunts I was all like "My baby krogan is really all grown up"

I know Thane will wreck me. Bioware did a good job in getting us attached even to people I didn't care for.

I WISH it was an option. I would have dragged him kicking and screaming! It could have been a redemption kind of thing for Maelon but then again Mordin might want to come so he can make sure he gets it right.

Lmao I LOVED that scene in ME2. I must've made him sing like 10 times which is why what happened in the end with Mordin killed me. I had crazy ideas of him having a parachute so he can jump off the damn tower. LoL

i made him sing it to me multiple times too. for me it was one of the best moments of me2. i loved the awkward silence after he finishes his song and clears his throat and then 'wait you sang' and it all starts again

Know what I just realized? Unless the Normandy crashed on a
planet with food of both chiralities (or you chose the synergy ending) either
the crew or Tali/Garrus are gonna starve to death.

That’s what makes this ending strange from a story-telling

About the endings (and no i haven't finished the game yet
lol...so dragging my feet when the computer is working).. i have a couple of
problems :



1) the mass relays exploding... wouldn't that take out all
of the systems that they're located in like in Arrival where you destroy that
relay and take out a whole system of batarians? So really you'd be killing
everyone and thing?



2) the geth (made my the quarians) , edi, and the actual
prothean stuff aren't/weren't made by the reapers so how/why would they be
taken out too? Plus the reapers didn't really explode they just kinda shorted
out, died so why would the relays explode? They should just be shorted out too,
if anything, and should be repairable...

Because the writers had a brain-fart for the last 15 minutes
of the game.  Gosh.  When one of our fellow Kaidanites 10 year-old
daughter can point out plot-holes, it’s pretty bad.

they would be lol... but Javek has started to grow on me.

I didn’t like what they did to the Prothean’s or their
Empire.  Though I guess you can see

If they wanted to roll with the indoctrination thing none of
the endings should have been the "perfect" one. Instead, Shepard
should've broken from this stupid kid's control and argued that the synthetic
vs. organic argument was false and that the peace between geth and quarian
proved this.

At some point the vision should shatter and a Harbinger VI
should appear, the reaper that is strangely absent aside from a 30 second
cameo. Harbinger realizing he's been beaten begins threatening Shepard as
Shepard goes to activate the Crucible. Reaper ships begin heading towards the
citadel to try to stop Shepard. Shepard fully expects to go down with the
citadel but then that's when the Normandy appears. The side hatch opens and
Shep's LI or closest friend is standing there, offering a hand to help Shepard
aboard. Right before activation the Normandy takes off with Shepard.



It's a bit like the destroy ending but this time the
Normandy crashes on Earth and the Mass Relays still function so that big ass
fleet can go back home again. Show a couple more scenes of other homeworlds
seeing the Reapers deactivate. Pan back to the Normany. Hatch opens, out steps
Shepard, then LI, then slowly the rest of the crew. They stare out across the
once beautiful Earth, devastated but still there. Credits.



That wraps up everything and has a satisfying conclusion. No
loose ends. The ending as it is now is impossible to decipher. We can come up
with theories but they are just theories. Bioware promised to wrap up
everything, they promised no LOST ending, they promised multiple endings. So
were these all just marketing lies?

Best ending I’ve read so far.  It fits with the game MUCH better than I’ve
seen others.

Thank you for sharing! It's great to see someone who doesn't paint us as "entitled" or "immature". The article from Kotaku made me RAGE. He was so condescending! I have hope in this movement! But even if they do release a DLC that fixes it; I don't think I'll ever trust Bioware.

I was really sad for Thane's end.  Poor Théodwyn Shepard (you trying finding a good female TH name) is gonna be torn up.  The ending as-is won't be too bad if her lover's dead.  Might as well die too.

LoL I love his lines in ME2. They really did good with personality. I cracked up when before the suicide mission he confronts Shepard about her crush on him (faithful to Kaidan) or when he advices you on licking drell (Kaidan to Thane playthrough). But it was a fitting end and what he wanted to do, it was well done of Bioware....even if it makes me bawl like a baby!!

Lmfao@ baby Grunt pic. That's truly inspired. Thane's romance (in my opinion) is the best out of all the ME2 choices. I ADORE Garrus but he was always a bro to me...guiding him in ME1 then pulling him out of the fire in ME2. The letter at the Shadow Broker's base actually hit me pretty hard. Plus the love scene where he was crying! I'm reluctant to play that Shepard coz I'll be torn between Thane and Kaidan. I don't wanna stomp on a dying man's heart!

Lol i got this line on my unromanced playthrough just after he rejoined the normandy, it made me laugh but it also made me go a bit, wish the unromanced femshep had a response to that, seemed very out of place lol.

In regards to the mp all I have to say is that the matches are a little long. Most of the ones that I'm in (that survive to the end that is ) are about half an hour. Kinda wish they'd put in short style matches.

But I surprisingly love MP considering I hate most mp games o.o

i love facing the reapers on mp. my adept warps that brute's ass. the banshees are pretty scary though
