Hmmm I really dount they modeled Kaidan's face after Raphael. He looks more like Kaidan on his younger pics, but it's still just so visibly different face. At least IMO.

I remember that Casey tweeted awhile ago that he saw the person who was Kaidan's face model here in Edmonton when he was out getting coffee or something.

xD ha, I guess I was way off then... at least we know the actor is somewhere...? o.O

Nah, that was Joker. Casey said that to dispel the rumours that Joker's face model was actually Seth Green. I don't think Kaidan's face model has ever been confirmed...

If Joker has a face model, Kaidan (and Ashley) surely had too. Why are they keeping it a secret? Did his model required it in the contract?

Oh, they certainly did, but the particulars of how they came by their face models might not have been noteworthy to Bioware. Miranda's face-model was an unique case because they scrapped their concept art for a scan of her voice actress, but a lot of characters' faces (Jack, for example) are planned beforehand. From what I understand, Bioware casts a model who best fits what they want the character to look like, and then they "tweak" the character's actual in-game appearence.

So the truth of the matter may be that Kaidan doesn't much resemble his face model any more (aside from basic face shape) or that Bioware has never really felt the need to divulge who his model is, since they tweaked the model to fit Kaidan, instead of how they tweaked Miranda to fit the model.

In any case, I don't think that Bioware is keeping Kaidan's face model a "secret," I just don't think that they considered it noteworthy, or they assumed that no one would find that information interesting, because it wasn't a "special case" like Miranda.

Quite frankly, Casey DOES have certain features Kaidan has. Curly black hair, a hint of asian heritage in eyes, strong jaw. Hmm... Maybe, just maybe they've used Casey's face and then modified it?

I've heard multiple reports of femSheps who romanced Kaidan in ME1 because he was "the only male option" and as soon as they found out that Garrus was available in ME2, they didn't even bother to make new Garrus-loyal femSheps, they just ditched Kaidan and said, "I don't care how pissed off Kaidan is in ME3, I want some hot Turian action!" ......and it makes me sad.

Really? I was under the impression that Garrus held the highest percentage of all the romances, even higher than Liara. But as I can't recall where I heard that little factoid, I suppose I could've been very much mistaken...

In any case, it makes me happy to think that Kaidan is the #1 male love-interest, so I'm going to believe it!

Not at all. It's just straight guys who keep raving about their super-bro Garrus and romance him as FemSheps (if they're not having a lesbian action). Sure, Garrus has some female fans too, but the biggest female (and gay) fanbase belongs to Kaidan. And even with the help of straight guys, Garrus is waaaaay behind Kaidan:
