One of the other little things I'm noticing/confirming on second playthrough is how much I hate Udina. I've noticed how Kaidan gets more and more distant with you again as you proceed through Act 1 toward the coup. The very first convo you have with him after he wakes up in the hospital is the best one. Every one after that is more distant until you can't even find him to click on him anymore.

Udina is similar. You start out with a wide range of convo options until he eventually starts just brushing you off if you try to talk to him.

I assume that this is because they're working on setting up the coup and poisoning the waters against you by playing on lingering suspision. It still sucks though because it means less Kaidan.

I had the date and I STILL havent gotten the 'wake me next time' dialogue, I also just did the mission with Jacob and I havent gotten the cut scene even though he is sitting in the crew quarters. Samantha did tell me that Chakwas wanted to talk to me, so maybe that cancelled the Kaidan one out?

Idk, its really annoying lol, I know if I do another mission he will move and I will miss it :/

Hey guys - sorry if this has been discussed, but I'm at work and don't have time to go through the thread, and a search turns up nothing.

A couple of his conversations didn't fire (I play on xbox), even though I spoke to him after every mission. I didn't realize it til i saw them on Youtube. Did anyone else have this problem?

So basically a lot of the game is bugged? I never saw Kelly though she was alive Never saw Conrad (though I did edit my save to fix the bug in ME2 so maybe that fked a few things up?)

I'm pretty sure I got all Kaidan dialogue... after every mission I spoke to everyone, and went to the citadel, I swear half of my play time was trying to get some kind of conversation out of my crew. I found the map helps alot, especially as the crew like to move about, can see all floors on the map as well so it's helpful.The Kaidan scenes though did seem really oddly paced, I got the 'date' scene too early I think, I just saw him at the citadel and just naturally spoke to him.
Don't think I never got the email afterwards. After that I went 10 hours of game time before I had a proper conversation with him again, but then that was the one triggered by the rescue scientists mission.
Also I think that conversation you're supposed to have before the date? Because at the end of it Kaidan said something like next time we're on the citadel we should get some food.
Which I assume that is supposed to be the date. But at the beginning of that conversation, Shepard asks if Kaidan is flirting with him, which wouldn't make sense if you hadn't had the date before hand. 
So yeah I'm totally confusing myself right now

 I cannot for the life of me remember what triggered the "wake me up before you leave next time" dialogue - he was sitting in the chair in the corner of his room at the time though.

 I do know it wasn't right after the date because that convo made me made mad - my shep was like - we need to get to the Normandy ASAP and he was - no are drinks are here now, so when my shep did make it back to the ship - I hot-footed it to Kaidans room, clicked on him and he said something like, not right now!   - I was all - WTF???

It was weird, I thought something was wrong, because every time i spoke to him, it was just the auto dialogue. I spoke to him as soon as he came back on the ship, and got nothing. Someone on Youtube said you get the family one as soon as you board, but i never got it. the first one i got was the date, he said nothing but auto dialogue to me until then.

I never saw Conrad, Emily Wong or Liara's father either, and none of my other playthroughs showed up on the import, so i think my game was really bugged.

Yeah I did a quick playthrough on the pc and got all the convos but when I played on my ps3 I got no 'real' conversations with Kaidan. And I basically stalked him 


(borrowed/stole my friend's pc copy because they got it day 1 curse them )

Just watched vids of the end SPOILERS FOR KAIDAN/GARRUS' END SCENES....

And I was pretty okay with the Kaidan end. Obviously it was heartbreaking and I felt gutted but it was pretty clear K knew it was the end either way. He had accepted it and despite saying he couldn't lose her again...I knew he'd get over it. He wasn't a wreck.

Garrus' on the other hand got me seriously teary. His mention of a Human/Taurian baby broke me. :\\

Yes, I got the same issue on the PS3 version.  The conversation about Cerberus after Jacob's mission on Noveria didn't trigger for me the first time.

I mean, Traynor says Kaidan wants to see me. I assumed it was a big dialogue-wheel conversation! But no, I got Zaeed-style conversation with Kaidan asking me to go for a snack at the Citadel.  The "snack" line was supposed to come after the dialogue-wheel conversation.

Has anyone seen the messages from Kaidan in the official datapad application? The ones from Garrus are *blushes* to die for. Never squeed so hard in my life.
