Has anyone else been playing around with the Datapad app? I synced my Origin account and got a few messages. Only 2 from Kaidan though.

I'm just wondering if I'll get more "mail" if I start a new playthrough. They should've made mail character-specific instead of combining it all in one area.

Yes.  You get more when you start a new playthrough.  It seems like it keeps a certain number then deletes old ones, but not sure about that.  But I started a new playthrough today and the first message was one from Kaidan that hadn't been on the list of ones from the previous playthough--probably because its the first message of the game.  *little happy jig*

It's for the iphone or ipad, just go to the App store and search for "mass effect 3 datapad".  It's the Mass Effect Codex, plus text messages from characters from the game, updated as you play, and the @masseffect twitter feed.

It's just a cool little thing to have, since it's free.

Probably. But that's interesting, his ME1 head had no lashes mesh. Also ME2 didn't had them, though he had lashes on Horizon. So I'm not sure how they worked.

But yeah, seeing as this is not that hard to do for them, I say "lazy".

I'll attempt to copy lashes mesh from another male character. Did it once, not perfect, but being noob in 3D editing as I am, I did well enough.

A couple of people asked this early so i thought i would help you get. Kaidan is higher than Ashley. ashley is a Lieutenant Commander (the same rank as Shepard), Kaidan is a major which is 2 ranks higher. he was a Staff Commander during Horizon which is 1 rank higher than Lieutenant Commander. The ranks of the officers go as follows:

• 2nd Lieutenant
• 1st Lieutenant
• Staff Lieutenant
• Lieutenant Commander
• Staff Commander
• Captain/Major
• Rear Admiral/General
• Admiral
• Fleet Admiral

In me1 kaidan is a staff lieutenant, me2, staff commander and then me3 major. so he is pretty high up. He can boss my femshep around in the bedroom whenever he wants now

Stop writing so fast! I'm 16 pages behind but I wanted to say you guys are giving me hope! I'm starting to believe the indoctrination theory but mixed with Shepard Rescue Theory. Its where they try and control her to do synthesize or control but if she were to decide destroy she breaks free of the indoctrination. She then wakes up but is too injured. Kaidan (while you were mentally fighting the reapers) finds you and gets you safe on board the Normandy. Earth is too devastated to help your injuries so they proceed to the mass relay to get you care from some colony or other planet not as devastated with good medical care. Then the cut scene of Normandy . As the ship is fleeing Dr Chakwas is healing you with the help of your machine healers. You crash land on Jurassic Park but by then your not in critical condition. Kaidan steps out happy knowing you are safe,  you can have Sheploo babies and you wont have media or Alliance bothering the two of you the rest of your life. (Aka Jon Grissom).


I can hope for this DLC (even though very specific) since its not a post ending dlc which they said the wouldn't do but its an extended ending dlc. Think of it like special features. Okay I know its far fetched that BW will do this. I might have to write this into a fanfic. It'll include inspiration from fan art such as Kaidan holding her when hurt and trying to heal her until help arrives and maybe proposal and wedding ceremony.

Oh! Also I want to write a very emotional reunion between Kaidan and Shepard. Like Shepard confessing she almost wanted to sacrifice herself since she thought he was dead and she couldnt imagine life without him now that she got him back but she knew Kaidan wouldn't want that and it would go against everything they fought for. Since she is pouring out her heart and doesn't need to keep strong for the team she breaks down and tells Kaidan her heartbreak of Horizon and her thoughts before the suicide mission and the guilt of not writing him back his letter. As she's rambling he might have to shut her up with a strong never let go kiss when he's heard enough.

Would you read this? I'm getting excited thinking about this. Also if you want anything in the story mentioned I want to make a story that takes the Kaidan forum fans ideas into to making this so it'll be the most satisfying/emotionally charged story/ending for us. Also images inspire me as you can see from above so anything shared will help. Also I have an idea for the butt looking scene.

Kaidan walks out if the Med Bay and doors close behind him. You start thing of you're conversation and how you every worry was thrown at him and how you admitted how deep your feelings for him go. You feel heat rising to your cheeks as you remember him just sitting there listening and all he did was kiss you. A wonderful deep warm kiss. You remember his hand holding your face then when that wasn't enough he dropped his hand to your waist and held you as close to his body as he can get you but still so soft and gentle as if he was afraid he might hurt you if he held on too tightly. You hear the a faint switch you've become familiar with that means EDI is about yo talk to you.

"Shepard"

You reluctantly leave your memories but your body still remembers every touch. Even your chest recalls his heartbeat.

"Shepard, Kaidan would like me to inform you that he's glad you're feeling better. He would also like me to inform you that he knows you, checked out his ass? Is that how you say it Shepard?"

Hey fellow Kaidanites - looking for some peeps to hook up and do some MP tonight. I still need to finish the game, but trying to get my Galaxy readiness or whatever it is up. At 84% right now. Once I up it some more I trudge through the final two missions and join you all in depression/rage feeling. Gosh, I really just don't want to finish it. It has been soooo good, but I know how it ends and I don't want to ruin it....

If you are on anytime after 9pm Eastern time zone look for DaQueen4000! Thanks guys last night for the good games!

while i was watching my bf play me3 last night. the funniest thing i have ever seen happened to doctor chakwas. shepard had gone to talk to her as she had a quest and her head started doing some crazy stuff. when this happened i was literally crying with laughter. just thinking about it now has me in hysterics.
i found a video of it too. it freaking hilarious

the shepard in the video is one ugly f**ker

Same thing happened to my Shepard when I went into Liara's office.  My face turned to look at Glyph and then stopped, looked like my head was on backwards.
