I'm finding that the more I think about the endings the more confusing they become! I just feel abit glum but will def play again but just make the game end when she passes out and make my own ending.

Still baffled as to how or why Bioware though the majority of the fan base would like it...

But Kaidan was done so perfect. *cries*

Which is why I'm a strong advocate for the Indoctrination theory :wizard:

Wow. Another article about homophobic ME fans.

http://www.huffingto..._b_1342275.html

Some how I have never encountered this as an issue, except in the case of blatant trolls. What does everyone else think? Are ME fans as small minded as their made out to be? It just baffles me that THIS is what they're reporting on.

Not surprising. Have you encountered some people on xbox live? If you're a woman/gay/different race you get roasted on there. Hell, I can't even have my mic on half the time.

I actually got my Shep looking quite close to my ME1 and ME2 character, but did your characters hair style and eyes look weird?  Those were the two things I couldn't get right.

Just saw this thread.

On phone can't make it linky. Some interesting tweets in the OP and some reply posts, I am literally grasping at straws!

@ladyofrivendell I hope so!

@Phoenix_Fyre Kaidan is it worth to play ME3. I will start a new playthrough and stop the game with the final romance scene in Shepards cabin  The other part is headcanon.

Fixed. ;)

About the gay controversy. It saddens me that such people exist in this world as to actively bash ME3 for allowing homosexual options but I know one thing for sure, the people of the Kaidan thread usually support all forms of Kaidan-love though some may not prefer it. I'm not sure about the forums at large though as I usually tend to stick to this thread, but I for one was best buds with Cortez. =]

Really? Wow, I've never encountered any outright antagonism towards myself because of my gender, or to others because of their sexuality.  Hm.  That's really disheartening.

Edit: Never encountered any on XBL.  The only time I've encountered them on the boards is when there is someone who is deliberately being a horrid troll. In which case, they are swiftly reported and booted off the site.

I think if I ever start a new playthrough I'd either stop right after renegading Lt. Bastard Kai Leng (for Thane, of course) or right after the farewell scene with Kaidan on Earth.

From what I can tell, my hair style is the same, but the ME3 version frames the face a bit more (wispier on the sides, curves around the cheeks). As for my Shep's eyes, the only difference I notice is that they're much more realistic looking, and not as emphasized due to the makeup colors being lighter.

For reference: My Shep in ME1, ME2, and ME3. (Excuse the poor lighting, taken from the Xbox version).
Maybe I've been staring too long :? But the earlier faces seem a lot longer and square-er, even though I didn't change any facial structures when importing.

As for everything else, Bioware is too good to make an ending like that. Even DA2, which most of us can agree isn't their best game ever, has spectacular writing. The issues, for myself at least, was the somewhat railroaded plot (but it does seem to be leading to an intense sequel). The rest of ME3 was so good, that it just doesn't make sense BW would write the current endings and leave it at that. They're better than that, and they know it.

Yeah, the farewell part is beautiful and sad! It hurts so much to listen Kaidans line "I can't lose you again!" :crying:

I like what you did with you ME3 Shepard, I agree the faces are longer. I just wished I could have gotten my eyes right. But quick question, how did you get pics of your Shep of the xbox to the pc?

In regards to DA2, I agree the scenes were extremely over used but I liked the story.  I was so glad my champion had a voice unlike my warden. Still love my warden though!

Ok, if the endings really are this whole indoctrination/dream thing that seems to be going around, I'm gonna be ticked off because that means we got a game that doesn't have a real conclusion to it.

Reading a thread that is trying to explain the endings as the whole indoctrination thing and that the only TRUE ending i the Destroy ending because if you managed to do everything right, it will end with Shepard waking up in a pile of rubble meaning she has woken up from the indoctrination dream. So if this whole ting it true, that pretty much means that everything we did on the citadel didn't really happen and when Shepard finally wakes up, she still has a job to do in stopping the reapers.

If the whole deal with the endings actually is this whole dream/indoctrination idea that seems to be going around, then doesn't that mean that when Shepard finally wakes up in the rubble that the reapers are still rampaging around? If everything that happens in the ending is just a dream sequence, doesn't that technically mean that whatever choice we made on the citadel (merge, destroy, or control) didn't actually happen? That the war is still going on while Shepard (and team if they even lived through that blast) has been knocked out and that we basically finished a game that had no complete ending?

And if Bioware does come out with a DLC that plays into this, that it means will have to pay to get a DLC that has the real game ending in it?

Because if that's what is really going on I'm gonna go prep my flame shield for when that times comes around because these forums will fall right back into the "YOU RELEASED AN INCOMPLETE GAME! RAWRRR!" fiasco.

Boy, I really don't think he's the luckiest man alive now...

Though if I won I'd just go there and shout abuse at Bioware! Could hold them hostage with a banana disguised as a gun and force them to write a new ending.

Exactly that's why the indoctrination theory doesn't make me feel any better. We got an incomplete game ending or a **** game ending. Both conclusions suck.

Is that site legit? Because I sure as heck want an explanation for this ending, even if it means that it was the real ending.

I know this is totally not Kaidan related... but I have to say this... omg I finished grissom on insanity... which I know is no big deal but... Im used to playing my games on the easiest setting *blushes*

You know, I can't help but feel BW is playing with us.. which ticks me off a little lol. Those tweets... grrr.

Someone posted a Kaiden pic a few pages back - the blue official looking one? Where do you get that?

I was thinking about the wallpaper for my desktop but Im a total PShop noob so I will have to beg someone hehe I think the official femshep earth buring wallpaper with an overlay of Kaidan over Earth would be perfect. But thats just me :P

Since all of my Shepards are basically the same (Paragon, romanced Kaidan) I decided to make a new one since I have nothing better to do! I had to kill Kaidan on Virmire so he wouldn't tempt me :(
