Anyway, just started playing Mass Effect 3 yesterday. So far it looks awesome...but I'm not enjoying it as much as I should knowing how it's gonna end I don't know, I wanna play but I've been putting it off cause I just feel so sad. (I got the game last week and startd playing it yesterday). God i hope Bioware gives us a better ending. *sighs*

I feel the same way...I really, really enjoy this game, but it's hard to play, knowing what's coming at the end.

The journey really isn't as much fun when the destination sucks.

Shep: that was amazing and I love you but I need to find my underwear so you don't see me completely naked.
Kaidan: yeah, wouldn't want to embarass you too much!

I'll do another run through just to see if I can get that still breathing scene - might help my understanding it a little!

I'll go back to finishing my fanfics now.

you should see Liara/Shep's scene.. she's nekkid.. and I was all WTF^%*%&, and *hugs* and welcome to the club!

Yeah, that irratates me. <_< At first I thought that they kept Shep and Kaidan in their undies cause Bioware is still afraid of Fox News. But after seeing the Liara sex scene. *sighs* Oh well, that's where fanart comes in.

I know it's probably conceited, but my Femshep is sooo beautiful, I think her and Kaidan would make gorgeous, blue eyed, black haired biotic babies....

It's depressing really. Also, yes I'm one of those people who wants their happy ending...or at least a bittersweet one where my femshep reunites with her Kaidan again. That "it's not the destination it's the journey" is just..lame****. <_<

I only did one playthrough of ME3 and that's all I will do unless they change the endings. This is coming from someone with 7 ME2 files! I just tried playing ME2 again, and it just isn't fun when you know that no matter what the endings are gonna be horrible.

  I think most of us find our FemSheps to be fairly pretty, I know I sure love how my Shep looks in ME3. So much so that going back and looking at ME1 and 2, she just looks really weird...


Say, does anyone around here know where I might be able to get some N7 dog tags like the ones Shep has on in the alive ending? I'm currently working on making an Alliance casual wear uniform, and the tags would go along perfectly with them! I just have no idea how one would go about making them...

I'm replaying ME3 right now, and still loving it. Sure, the endings are depressing, but I have faith in Bioware that this isn't the "end". The hallucination/indoctrination has so much substantial evidence, and I don't believe in coincidences. Of course, it is still depressing to play, but if I don't think about the end then it's still my new favorite game. Plus, I get to see Kaidan again, what's not to like?

To get the breathing scene, you need an EMS of 5,000+ (which you had), and you need to choose the Destroy option (red, on the right). All the other endings, regardless of EMS, Shepard dies. 
And don't lose hope! There's a lot of evidence suggesting that there's more to come after the end, whether it's additional DLC, a new ending, an expansion pack, a revelation that the ending was actually indoctrination, etc. Check out the Story section of the forum, so many people have dug up good theories.

Did choose the destroy option - hmmn - something going on there perhaps?  Will find out on my next run through.

Haha yeah, I have played Evangeline since ME1 but I tweaked her face in ME2 so I could have the facecode to play the demo, now I just think she is so pretty, I did have another femshep, Lanah, but she just looks soooo weird in ME3, cant bring myself to play her.

Nah, I don't find it conceited. I find my Shep beautiful too (especially in the 3rd game). Let's hope we get a DLC to fix the ending.

ETA: You get friendly messages from pretty much everyone (like Thane or Samara as well as your crew/ squad) relating to what's going on in the game in addition to romance messages.

Hey guys! Does anyone know how many real scenes we have with Kaidan? I can't seem to make the one in the crew quarters work..he just sits there talking about random things. Now I feel like I missed other stuff. I def missed the one about his mom in my first pt. I'm in the beginning on my second now. Does anyone else have problems with scenes not triggering? I'm on Xbox

I'm on the xbox too, but I got lucky and never had a problem. I think there are only two real conversations with him once he's on the Normandy. Just try talking to him after every mission, even N7 ones.

Yeah there is apparently. I got the one about his mom and dad. I also think there's another one in the crew quarters. I can't believe I missed those

I have been, I do my rounds in the ship after every main mission and side..it's a bit obsessive lol.. I just got the one about his mom and dad to trigger. It definitely didn't in my first pt.

After Mars, there is:
Hospital visit 1: Kaidan unconscious
Hospital visit 2: Kaidan's "we're good together" speech.  I think at this point or afterwards you can talk to him again and it'll be the usual "investigate"/get more infor dialog tree.  I missed this one and I think that's why I also missed the one about his parents
Hospital visit 3: Spectre
Normandy dock: Post Udina/Citadel attack
Normandy observation room: Kaidan talks about his parents on Earth (triggered by the 2nd hospital visit?)
Lunch date
*Chatter where he tells you to wake him up the next time you leave the bed
Post-Jacob mission: talk about Cerberus
Romance scene
Farewell scene

By the time I downloaded the app I had already beaten the game, so... not sure? I'll run through the ending again some time today to see if I get a message.
