On phone can't make it linky. Some interesting tweets in the OP and some reply posts, I am literally grasping at emergency induction ports!
@ladyofrivendell I hope so!
Fixed.
About the gay controversy. It saddens me that such people exist in this world as to actively bash ME3 for allowing homosexual options but I know one thing for sure, the people of the Kaidan thread usually support all forms of Kaidan-love though some may not prefer it. I'm not sure about the forums at large though as I usually tend to stick to this thread, but I for one was best buds with Cortez.

The only really weird thing about it is that I think it unlikely you'd wind up with so many s/s crew members on a skeleton crew. It's not like s/s people make up such a high percentage of the population unless you work in certain fields and I doubt the military is one (although I don't have direct experience so I couldn't actually say). But, I work in publishing, and even though we have more than is reflective of society at large, we still don't have a massive number of s/s coworkers. For the record, we also have a higher than proportional number of some other societal segments in our office too, like women. But women tend to be better with language as a whole than men are.
*shrug* It's just what happens when you try to cater to everyone though. You get some weirdness.

It's my personal belief that the whole crew knows and just doesn't care because they're in a life or death battle for the existence of life as we know it. In that context, if the two highest ranking officers are "fraternizing" is it really that important? I know I'd have other things to worry about.

Oh, I totally agree. I only ask because in in my opinion, with other romances more of the squaddies comment on it. I was curious, trying to compare.
BUT in interest of discussion that could be a topic. Is that merely because as the two officers are they being more discreet on purpose? I did get the feeling that Shep was trying to tiptoe a little more than I would've liked.
I hate that our best case scenario is that the developers were planning a secret additional ending all along and wanted to what, jerk us around with the original disc ending? Sigh. I guess at this point I'll take what I can get though because I don't want this series ruined because of 10 stupid minutes.Oddlyotter wrote...

@Xarathos augh. want. to. discuss! Staying spoiler free for now
This renews my hope.

Urg! I still can't get Kaidan to mention that Shep should wake him up before she leaves. I was specifically looking for that convo this time around. He also didn't talk to me about the Cerberus scientists.
I found some more reasons to think that Shep's hallucinating the crash - Jacob also references the tropics. He talks about having to take time out on the beach in the Mediterranean, and he tells Shep she could never give up the Normandy because she loves it too much. That sets the stage for the Normandy being in that jungle paradise with the people she cares about most.
So we have:
1. Mordin - the beach and the seashells
2. James? - great little bar in Rio (tropical)
3. Garrus - Somewhere warm and tropical
4. Jacob - Talk about the Mediterranean (warm, sub-tropical), Shep never giving up Normandy
5. Thane - Prayer to Goddess of Oceans
Is it a running theme yet?
I know! I'm still in awe over this! It's awesome!yoshibb wrote...
Someone just added 10000 dollars to our child's play fund. O.M.G.
Don't get me wrong, I was devastated by the ending (let's not pretend that we have actual different endings), so yes I would like to see something (almost everything) changed. I can't even bring myself to play MP tonight because I'm still processing the ending from last night. But I don't like the idea of Bioware knowing that we would hate the endings and secretly planning dlc to compensate. That should have been there originally.LadyofRivendell wrote...

I...actually like the idea. With the current endings, I realized just how attached I was to my crew, something that hadn't struck me before. Not to sound like a sissy, but I cried for nine hours on Saturday after I beat the game. I still haven't gotten any sleep since then, and today was the first time I've eaten since then.
Through all this, I came to see how much everything meant to me. Not sure if that makes sense to anyone. Then again, I'm amazed I can still coherently type after being awake for over 72 hours. Though now I've got a really annoying twitch in my left eye, not that that has anything to do with anything.
