Ran out to car and grabbed my iPod. These are the msgs from Kaidan so far:

1) "Hey. I'm so happy. That's all. How can the future be so unsure and so bright at the same time. Yours, Kaidan."

2) "I got my things and set up in the starboard observation deck. Come by whenever you like, okay? Door's open."


3) "Doubt any of us will be getting much sleep anytime soon. But I believe in you."

Hmmm... this makes me want to try it out.  I find the first 2 dialogue options more interesting if you select renegade ("absolutely" and "You're an evil distraction").  I haven't tried the "thank you" line instead of "I love you" though, because that's just wrong.

Just played Citadel: Priority. Cool mission. Kai Leng is a wuss. So how many people knew you can kill the VS
For me it was Cathartic. No offense to Kaidan fans but they really screwed up his charecter since ME 2

I think destorying the reapers is paragon, although the stupid ghost kid makes it sound renegade. I choose the merging ending because I didn't want to kill the Geth after I went through all the trouble of making peace with the quarians...

So I finished the game late last night (early this morning?) and all I have to say is...I liked the ending.
GAH! *Dodges thrown tomatoes* I'msorryI'msorryI'msorry! It's just, the fantasy author in me really connected with the artisticness of it. The final scene after the credits (I still don't see a problem with using stock images if they work) was very reminiscent of a classic fantasy trope. The idea of an ancient culture more advanced than your own. We see it with Atlantis in real life. The Numenoreans in the Lord of the Rings. The Star Child reminded me of the sorta mythical qualities of both the Reapers and Vigil. And while the 3 choices thing was bunk, it fit with the Star Child line. It was cool to see the choices played out. Destroy was Anderson's way, Control was The Illusive Man's way, Synthesis was Shepard's way (or not).

Some of the plot holes are plot holes, but simply things that needed to be explained better. Why didn't the Star Child open the Citadel in ME1? Maybe he couldn't. The Protheans had altered the signal sent to the Keepers. Perhaps he couldn't change it back. Maybe he was waiting for someone to come along and change things up and simply allowed the change to stay. After all he gave up pretty easily once you made it there. He could have just left you on the one deck to die.

All of the fleets left in the Sol System? Well, sometimes war has crappy consequences. My own point of how the Turians and Quarians starving? Hopefully the Quarian world-ships survived. Sucks, but not a plot-hole.

Here *is* where there's a plot hole. How did ANY of your ground crew end up back on the Normandy? Normandy had dropped them all off on Earth.

Not a plot hole is Joker in the Relay network. It's weird and unexplained, sure. Also, he can't have been in the Charon relay since that's the first one to shoot 'the beam' and he was shown AFTER it had sent it's signal. Which means not only had he left the battle early but was somewhere on the other side of the Galaxy in the Relay network.

Still, I understand (and the more time that passes since I played it the more I agree) the need to change the ending. Too many unexplained things.

Just finished.... what the heck?!

I guess I have to replay the end at least twice more to figure out what happens, but there are no autosaves right before the ending. My paragon wasn't paragon enough, and I'm faced with figuring out which of three horrible choices is the "right" one.

Bitterly disappointed in the ending, but Kaidan romance was so completely awesome I may have to replay a couple of saves to enjoy key moments again to cheer me up.

Excuse me while I go get tissues then go beat my fists against a wall a few times while screaming.

Your Shep is probably plenty Paragon enough, the endings just miss the spot.  There, there.  ~hands tissue~  Join the club.

@luricanson ty! I'm still trying to unravel it all in my head, I was worried this would be like a BSG-style ending, and it turns out it's 3x BSG endings Ah well, I shall just enjoy multiplayer for a few weeks then decide if I should go through it all again with the rest of my sheps!

No, all the endings are bad.

And I'll pick destroy every single time and pretend I'm ripping a hole in BioWare's servers just before they decided to send those ending abominations live.

I reloaded my save just so I could try this, it's quite sweet. Shep basically says that she can't tonight because her heart wouldn't be in it, and Kaidan says he understands, and then Shep asks him to stay with her anyway and the two of them cuddle on the couch I stopped there, so I'm not sure if they both wake up in bed together after the dream sequence.

I just started Cronos and I did both the renegade options and then went back and did paragon lol. When you choice the renegade option (thank you) shep says :You make me strong, and Kaidan says:

I want to be your strength, I want to be your soft place to land. I love you Shepard.

Better then the "im' the luckiest man in the world' bit if you ask me lol, only thing is Shep doesn't say she loves him.

COMMENCE THE BOMBING!!!!
