Here is a link to youtube of ash confronting Male Shep about Miranda. I get that she would be pissed off bc Miranda is Cerberus. But I would have liked the same "Hey you walked out on me" option for Kaidan.
If this were true, my rage would be slightly lessened.Sandtigress wrote...

You know what my biggest problem with the ending is? The fate of the crew.
First off, Joker is trying to activate the relay when the blast occurs. In order to do this, he would have had to be flying away BEFORE Shep makes it to the Citadel. What? On top of that, the majority of us see our final squad exit the Normandy.
So, let me get this straight. Joker swooped down, picked up Kaidan and Liara, completely ignored Shepard wherever she was, and flew off? Thanks, guys, thanks for having my back. I knew I could count on you to support me during my final hour.
Why didn't anyone bother looking for Shepard? I don't see any one of the squad willing to just leave with Shepard's fate unknown. Liara risked her life infiltrating the Shadow Broker's base to recover Shepard's dead body on the chance that she could be brought back. Kaidan said he couldn't stand to lose her again. The entire crew (sans Vega and Javik) have been through hell and back with her, a few of them more than once. So... they'd choose just to leave.
And on top of all that, after exiting the ship, Kaidan looks at Joker and smiles. SMILES. He's got an adorable smile, sure, but would he really be that happy after losing Shepard twice? I'd think he'd at least feel a little depressed...
This is why in the green ending I just assume that the fates that be, be it the catalyst or whatever, decided to cut them all a break in the end and give them all a planet of their own to live out their days in relative peace. Kaidan smiles because Shepard is back there behind him on the Normandy, dangit!

Wait, he really wanted to see you in the crew quarters to suggest that you grab a snack? I looked for him on the Citadel for like an hour only to finally discover how to use the map, and that he wasn't actually there. Garbage!ZehnWaters wrote...

I got them. They're not supposed to be cut-scenes. A lot more conversations got turned into walk-by's this game.

And another thing about turncoat Joker fleeing the scene of the battle. How is a guy with Vrolick's syndrome going to survive in a jungle planet? I mean, really, the first root that trips him wins. He should have thought a little harder about abandoning his post. The Normandy's fast, but I still don't see how it's fast enough to rescue my London squad from the jaws of death.
And one more other thing... How did the Citadel get to earth? Woudn't it have had to go through a Relay. It's a Mass Relay itself can it teleport? And what happens when you take a mass relay through another mass relay? Shouldn't the fabric of space-time, like, unravel or something?

Hey you all!
I have a question that might have already been asked somewhere in this thread, but I didn't find anything about it while reading the last twenty-something pages, so please bear with me :/
I'm currently finishing my first complete playthrough (though I kinda don't want to, knowing about the endings. I'm just replaying the sexytimes-scene over and over instead....) with my canon kaidanmancer, and I fear I missed out on two cutscenes with him. That's really bothering me, because I want every single piece of Kaidan I could possibly get xD
I found them on youtube but never saw them in my game.
The first one seems to take place directly after Kaidan rejoins the Normandy crew, where he's talking about his loved ones. The second one takes place after Jacob's sidequest and he's talking about Cerberus - Samantha even told me that Kaidan wanted to talk to me in the crew quarters, but all I got from him was something about getting some steak on the Citadel and no cutscene at all.
Is that a known bug with his conversation scenes or did I do something wrong? Do I have to make some kind of extra effort to get these scenes, are there any prerequisites? I just don't want to miss out on them even though they aren't romance-related as such. My Shepard just developed some kind of Kaidan-obsession, and so did I...

Okay, thats fine. But just stating the series is dead is not fact or true. It may be dead to you just not everybody. And I would love to do the take back Omega. I loved that comic series. I love Mass Effect. Heck, I liked the ending I got for my particular Shepard. I played the series cause I enjoyed it. I am not going to let 5-10 min cinematic cutscene reck my experience for it. And Bioware knows of this issue and like for Dragon Age 2 (with Legacy and Mark of the Assassin dlc) they took notes and improved. Yeah they do listen to their fanbase. The game has only been out less than two weeks and expecting them to do something to fix this issue that big and that fast is ridiculous.frylock23 wrote...

First off the franchise is hardly dead sales figures state that. EA would be stupid to not make more Mass Effect. Most review both professional and non-professional have give the game very high scores despite the endings. (Yes the non-professionals have said themselves they hate the ending but the love the game a ton.) I can give you several non-professional reviews that love this game along with videos of them stating why the ending sucked but the game is still great. People need to chill its only been a week and we will not hear anything until April at the earliest.CrimsonNephilim wrote...

Yeah. Not touching my copy of ME3. Haven't even played it through once.
Not sure what I'm going to do with it. Seems like a waste of money to trade it in after paying over $100 on the CE and the guide.
I'm not going to finish the game. At first, I tried to tell myself that I could ignore the ending and just have fun with it, but I can't. Every time I play, I get depressed and stop.
The thought of getting some kind of closure was the only reason I would have had to pick it up again. This blows.
Yeah. Sucks that Bioware would let this franchise die out like this
And how many people who bought it this time around are going to chip in more money next time?
I won't. There's no point. Why buy DLC if I don't really have much appetite to get to the end I know it's leading me to? If there was a proper ending, I could do it.
I remember this book I had as a little girl. It was a Sesame Street book with Grover where he spends the whole book trying desparately to get you to stop turning pages and moving toward the end because "there's a monster at the end of this book." At this point, all BioWare can do unless they fix this ending situation is try to give us the illusion that we'll never get to the "monstrous ending at the end of this game." Why take back Omega? Who cares?
And frankly when it comes to anything else they do, I have no faith that they know how to do a proper job with it, either.
It doesn't sound like much of a break to me to be stranded on a deserted jungle planet without much supplies. I mean, unless the entire universe went to hell but with the Reapers stopped rebuilding won't be that much of a pain. This is why in the green ending I just assume that the fates that be, be it the catalyst or whatever, decided to cut them all a break in the end and give them all a planet of their own to live out their days in relative peace.

edit: sorry Dirae, didn't see your post! It's definitely not the date she's talking about, I already had that scene with him :/
I like to think the Citadel could relay itself, just because it would be cool, but I don't think it did. Probably the Reapers just moved it to the nearby relay and jumped to Sol.leborum wrote...

Having nosed at the undies from all angles pic, i have come to the conclusion that im not a massive fan of kaidans chest (was way sexier in 1) but hes got really damn fine thighs, i think thats the first time ive admired that in a guy.
I'm with you on this - I felt his torso was almost scarily bumpy, He-Man style pecs? But face was good, and Raphael was so damn good... farewell scene was incredibly moving, you could hear real emotion in there.

Man, I really miss Boston. Wish I could go. I don't think they'll pull out, maybe by then they'll have some details to release regarding possible DLC.dstrawberrygirl wrote...
I booked a ticket ages ago to go to the PAX conference in Boston in April - on the Friday, there's a session with Bioware about Mass Effect. (anyone interested, head here)
I shall be voicing my opinion, assuming they don't pull out of the conference (if they do I'll be mad, I swapped a Saturday ticket for Friday because of their session!)
Alright, I'll buy it.devSin wrote...

Since it's not active, I don't think it matters. Having the potential to be a relay is not the same as maintaining an active mass effect corridor.
