So, random question, does anyone here have the ME3 artbook? The full one, not the mini one we got with the CE.
If any of you do, can you tell me if it has any sort of concept art or info on the Alliance casual uniforms? I'm trying to pull together as many references as I can, planning on making the outfit for myself (I fell in love with it, for some reason).
Major Kaidan Alenko in ME3: We're going to need a bigger boot.

I just sort of have to question his taste in women. First of all, EDI is just so completely metallic I don't understand how she could even vaguely be considered attractive and she has a terrible haricut and non-sexy voice to boot (my Shepard apparently disagrees with me about the voice, though). It's just...a computer voice. The kind of voice you'd expect a computer to have.I guess those lines never bothered me. Guys are guys. They tend to notice how attractive other women are even when they are fully committed to you. And, in all honestly, I definitely notice how attractive other guys are even though it'll be a cold day in hell before I'd ever cheat on my husband.
And then he thinks that women that can and will kill him if he tries to sleep with them are attractive.
I'm kind of concerned. What does that say about his interest in Shepard?
Well... There are some pretty ugly custom FemSheps out thereShep's gotten the chance to kill him twice so far, and she's got cybernetic implants.
Yeah, you know, I don't know what's so attractive about robots or aliens. I'm not a guy, so maybe I just don't see it, but still.
Re: EDI, he may just be teasing. Sort of a *wink wink nudge nudge* but you're better kind of thing?
Re: The Ardat-Yakshi, even Shepard can have a hard (or impossible) time resisting the Ardat-Yakshi, he might just be acknowledging his own weakness. After all, we've seen with Morinth that when an AY is hunting you, you're pretty much doomed.
So I think he's being self-aware but also just playing around, depending on the context.

Yes, I found the Quarian/Geth peace to be very satisfying and it made me cry ... again. The only downside was that I lost the oppotunity to punch Han Gerrel and throw him off my ship. THAT was well worth it in my first playthrough.
What do you mean? I did that and still brokered peace between them.
Huh, maybe it has to do with paragon/renegade points. Kelly got the renegade option to sock Gerral and throw him off the ship. Zaira never got the renegade interrupt to even show up. I thought it had to do with whether or not you could broker a peace because I knew going in that Kelly wouldn't be able to because her save had an exiled Tali where Zaira's didn't.
Hmmm, I'd test it but I don't think that either Jade or Aili have the renegade in them to go there. Maybe I can get Jade up there.

Well Shep could kill him if s/he wanted. S/he IS dangerous.
I liked EDI, I thought she was hecka hot. The retro '50's robot look? Amazing. I loved the voice too. EDI and Joker for Shepard LI!
Men find dangerous women sexy. Danger is sexy. Like that proposed ad campaign in Mad Men about smoking.
Also, I love EDI's voice. I totally girlcrush on it. The metallic bod is an obvious reference to Metropolis, which has been fanboy gold before fanboys were even a thing.

Can you imagine the talks after Thessia especially after Shep takes Joker down on the bridge?
Garrus: Well, someone should go up there and .. talk to her.
*everyone looks around; looks at Kaidan*
Kaidan: What? Oh, no ... Dammit! We're not fooling anyone are we?
Garrus: Not even the first time. Good luck.

I was wondering today. You know all those times you walk around on the ship and stumble onto convos your crew are having about other people on the ship? I wonder how many times they talk about Shep while she's not there ... You know it happens because Joker allused to it when he mentions having talked to Anderson about Shep.

So it seems I'm not the only one who missed out on them :/ I'm talking about these two scenes, by the way:
I'd really love to see them with my own Shep. No idea what I did wrong to not trigger them at all, especially the second one because Sam even tells me to go talk to Kaidan. I'm a completionist myself and I'm literally running to him after every quest, but I mostly get those mini convos, too :/
But apart from that, I really adore his romanceHe might even surpass Alistair on my all-time-favourite-romances list <3
edit: sorry Dirae, didn't see your post! It's definitely not the date she's talking about, I already had that scene with him :/
I never got those scenes either. Are you playing on Xbox? I started a second playthrough I'm really hoping it works this time. Did anyone else have a problem triggering these? Maybe it's an Xbox issue. Grr I hope it works this time. It's really jarring to know I'm missing stuff
EDIT: PS I'm pretty OCD about convos so I do rounds so playthroughs are perfect

I missed the first one too but I *think* it's because I didn't talk to him after the second hospital visit. The one where he says "We're good together." I kind of ran out afterwards squeeing but I think based on what I've seen you can talk to him again to get the usual "investigate" normal non-romantic dialogue circle.Dorko525 wrote...

The second one I got without hearing a notification from Sam. I just made my usual OCD dialogue rounds and it came up after the Jacob mission.
I'm working on a self-portrait in Photoshop for school and was trying to incorporate some nerdy desktop picture, and guess what showed up immediately in google images for "desktop"?

I swear the Mass Effect ending is haunting me everywhere.

If you do the synthesize (green) choice that means they are organic and synthetic. Wouldn't that expand everyone's life span? So the sad thought is Kaidan has to live longer without you since its implied your DNA was torn apart to evolutionize everyone and everything. I don't think I can ever choose this option anymore cause all I' ll think is I'm prolonging Kaidan's sorrow

I'm telling ya, Shepard gets remade! The implication is heavy for me that your squad dies on earth, when you were hit. Why else wouldn't they be with you on the Citadel (barring an indoctrination theory). And if they're alive again then Shepard can be too! xD I'm actually trying to bug a dev to see if that's an allowed headcanon within the possibilities they imagined. I need it to be one.

Which is why I choose Destroy. They may be on separate planets without mass relays, but hey, at least Shep is still alive after ths one! Better chances for reunion than any other endings, methinks.

That's how I picked my ending. I was like, "Which one is the one where Shepard lives?"
I didn't want to see my Shepard die after all this time, especially when I wasn't sure if Kaidan had survived or not. I wanted a happy ending. Oh well, ha.

I figure the whole crash thing is just some kind of weird hallucination because that's the only way it makes any kind of sense. Shep's brain putting the people she cares about most in a safe place.

And what about EDI? Is she, like, organic now too? What of the Reapers? Were they melted down and merged with everyone? How would a beam of light merge organic an synthetic anyhow? GAAAH! "Unanswered questions is better" my eye.

My Shep is a bit religious so in my head the crash thing is her seeing the people she loves best in heaven, what with the squadmates who were with her in the final run being (probably) fried by Harbinger death lazer and Joker running away not making a whole lot of sense so presumeably he's dead too?
