I almost died inside when he says that he thought Shepard was his friend.

Have you guys seen the renegade scenes where you kill Mordin/sabotage the genophage and later kill Wrex, it's ****ing brutal! I could never bring myself to do it!

I just did the testing - yeah, that's his reply if you turn him down. "Not the answer I wanted to hear, but okay."
Most heartbreaking thing? Turning Kaidan away from the Normandy. I did that to see what happens and... *sob*
Do you have a link to a vid? I wanna hear all the Kaidan dialogue I can get but I'm too wimpy to go through with that one.
About the Dalatrass' plans. Here's what happens if you go through with them.:crying:
:crying:You have to be some kind of monster or a super committed renegade to go through with this.
Here's the paragon version to get the bad taste out of your mouth.
Edit: It's amazing what a different impact the same line can have when said in two different ways.
Edit2: Though I've heard tales of a renegade intimidate option that avoids this scene, don't know what the requirements for it are though.

You can kill Wrex in ME3? Why would you do that!? (Both as in why would anyone want to he's such a cool guy and what situation arises that would make you want to do that?)

That's horrifying! I'm so glad I didn't try to put myself through that. I would have had to restart the game or something.

It's worth watching the videos just to see how well done they are, the voice actors are very talented... well, except Diane Allers/Jessica Chobot.

Wrex confronts you on the Citadel when he finds out you sabotaged the genophage cure, then it turns into a gun fight.

Part where Alenko and Shep just beginning to know each other on Normandy
SR-1 (from fanfiction), Shepard just was appointed for new XO:
"Alenko woke to the warning chime of the sleeper-pod in his ear, and tried not to feel disappointed that the new XO hadn't woken him up for a midnight snack. What is wrong with me, wishing nightmares on a fellow officer? Plus, I had to force myself to remember to call her ma'am, so it's certainly better we not spend the night together. The accidental innuendo was enough to make him flush with embarrassment, even in the privacy of the pod. I cannot be thinking about her like that. He smacked his head against the lid of the pod, trying to beat some sense back into it. Superior Officer. N7 graduate. Could severely kick my ass. He let out a shuddering sigh. Crap. Not helping. An impressive soldier, with legs up to... Stop that, he reminded himself, yet again. She was a beautiful woman, strong and talented, a quality officer and soldier. The combination was irresistible.
Well, I just have to learn to resist. Self-control. I don't want to cross the Butcher, right? But even in their short acquaintance, it was obvious she was neither incompetent, nor a bloody sociopath, the two most popular explanations for the cluster**** that was the Torfan operation, and he found he desperately wanted to know what had really happened. Unfortunately, the OIC of the ground forces had retired under a cloud, and while rumors flew regarding Shepard's part in his dismissal, the entire thing had been classified.
The Captain probably knows, though, and he still picked her for XO. Wonder if either of them would tell me if I asked? At that he smacked his head against the lid again. Like I could manage that while pretending purely professional interest. I am an idiot. And if I keep this up, I'm going to bring back that migraine that miraculously left me alone yesterday.
Taking a few deep breaths, Kaidan strangled his hormones back under control before exiting the pod. And as he turned away from the mess to head towards the showers, he heard Commander Shepard's voice; glancing back he saw her smiling at something Corporal Jenkins had said, her lush lips softening the previously grim expression, the change highlighting the curve of her cheeks rather than the scar across her nose.
- Damn. I'm doomed."

"too late, our drinks are here, and I'm gonna take my time…" -- femshep romance scene with Kaidan in ME3?
"So, uh, when does that steak get here? Uh, incidentally, you better be buying now." -- when does this happen? During the date I suppose?
Listening to Kaidan makes me go
Yes to the first, no to the second, at least not from any of the "paragon" options. If no one knows I can experiment with it later.
I love listening to him too. I didn't start out that way but his voice has really grown on me.
I think I recall reading that the second is when you let him down nicely during the date scene. Not certain on that, though, and I'm definitely not going to test that!

That's because we've all been indoctrinated by Bioware, we just don't know it yet. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/devil.png[/smilie]

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I started a 2nd playthrough just for the Datapad app and to see what additional texts you get from Kaidan (and hoping for a post-ending text!).
Here's what I got so far - SPOILERS:
After hospital visit: Heard you came by while I was out. Thanks, Commander. I'm up, most of the time, at least.
After he becomes a Spectre: I'll try to do humanity proud as a Spectre. Know I've got a lot to live up to.
After the date if you romance him: Hey. I'm so happy. That's all. How can the future be so unsure and so bright at the same time. Yours, Kaidan.
I'll keep updating as I play further! The app is worth it, also because of the other texts you get. Javik has some hilarious ones, e.g. "please evolve, it's demeaning to have to type like this".
EDIT: I just realized this could be spoilery for some, so added the Spoiler tag. I just posted as I know not everyone has an iPhone. Let me know if you'd rather I didn't post!

Cathleen Rootsaert. She's a theater writer and actress. ME3 was the first video game she she got writing credits for, but she already worked with Bioware on TOR and ME2 as dialogue editor. No matter her background, I think she did an amazing job with Kaidan. Already tried to firnd her twitter/facebook but it doesn't seem like she has one :/LadyofRivendell wrote...
Who was Kaidan's lead writer in ME3 again? From what I recall, it was a different person from ME1, right?

You have to convince him Wreav will go to war with the Turians after Reapers are defeated which is why he has to fake the cure.nonpromqueen wrote...

I'm playing on PC, so I don't think it's a platform thing. Maybe it's just a bug then. Would be my first bug encountered in the game, apart from that strange invisible trap I seem to step into whenever I go talk to Joker in the cockpit...
Maybe it'll work on my second playthrough, 'cause I really hate missing out on any conversationsEspecially when they are related to Kaidan.
No, it's not possible to save Mordin with Wrex. Eve'ss death means you will just have bit less Krogan support.Commodore Q wrote...
I destroyed the data in ME2 but Wrex is still alive from ME1, what happens? Do I have to choose between Wrex and Mordin?
And also Wrex sends you angry emails and is really snarky when you get to London.IsaacShep wrote...
