 I just finished the game.  I'm... a little confused about what just happened.  I reloaded to try the other ending options and I'm still not really sure what was going on there at all.  
Regardless, I really enjoyed the Kaidan romance.  I would have changed one or two things, but otherwise I am very pleased with how it went, particularly their conversation before the big end-mission push.  <3
I just don't...  Really, what just happened?

I've wondered that as well, which leads me to think that he probably had some early experiences.  Probably in those dark times between BAaT and when he joined the Alliance.  But learned that they were unsatisfactory and superficial.

But yeah.  I'm SURE vids helped.  He mentioned the Asari fettish sites in ME1.  After the Monastery mission when talking to him about the mission and about Ardat Yakshi he says that he "dodged a bullet there."  My Shepard wanted to know what the hell he meant by that!

None of us really has a clue.  That's why the big uproar.  There's a poll about the ending.  over 50,000 people here have voted.  97% don't like the ending.  We're all waiting for Hudson to stop being so damned smug and tell us what the hell.

Welcome to the club! There's a lot of discussion (rage/anger/frustration) around the interwebs, the leading theory around at the moment is indoctrination but overall it seems the vast majority are unhappy with the end.

My M!Sheploo did not romance anyone in ME1 or 2 -- my canon behind this was he was very conflicted in his feelings for Kaidan. On one hand he had to deal with the fraternization thing and on the other was the fact that he was not going to abuse his authority to "make things happen". In ME3 Shep was perfectly content in having Kaidan make the first move - more romantic this way.

I was on the fence of the whole idoctrination theory till I watched that video. 100% on the bandwagon now haha Earlier when I was playing it, I just started shouting at the game when they mentioned the crucible! This time I'm going to destory those bastards and not get tricked by that stupid kid in picking the bs synthesis ending.

Thanks, I'm glad it's not just me!  I'm not angry.  I'm just confused.  I don't know what just happened or why Bioware chose to write whatever just happened.

Kaidan really was great, though.    If I could have changed anything, I would have had less of a "drought" between the Citadel dinner and their night together (with some of the chats between missions being a bit more romantic and a little less team-mate-y).  Regarding their night together, I didn't really like the tone of Shepard's last line before the cutscene...  I thought it kinda sounded like she wasn't really up for sex but conceded to let Kaidan have his way with her because he clearly wanted to.  "All right, Kaidan" - like "fine, if you want to have sex, I suppose I don't mind that much" or something!  Maybe it's just me, but I think it might have been a case of poor voice direction.  With the right direction, those words (or others) could have been very sexy.  Or maybe Jen was afraid to make her voice too sultry after the reaction to her Jacob lines!    Of course, it might just be my perception.

I'm not sure why we have to fight the Reapers at all. All we really need are some scanning teams to sit in each system and scan a bit. The Reapers will all drop what they are doing to converge on the scanning ship and say 'yo, what's up'. Then that ship runs away and a different one starts scanning. Rinse, repeat. Problem solved.

Poor Kaidan lol he's not good at being subtle,no wonder Joker knew about them a long time ago:P

Don't get me wrong I love that He's a lot more straight forward now,I love it,but he's totally making it all too obvious:wub: good thing he's not a LT anymore:devil:

The drought between the date and the "sexy time" scene was killing me. Let's just be honest here, with the situation they're in I doubt they would be totally hands-off during that time. All he has to do is say he needs to speak to her in private like everyone else does, then it's "game on".

Kaidan is.  Blow this picture up to full size and you can see tears.  

I call tears as well.  You could hear it in their voices, especially Jennifer Hale.
