And she's still throwing around the innuendo on the geth ship. I hope to God I didn't get a glitch of some sort.

It's like it's becoming more cliche to do the sad ending anymore. What's wrong with being happy? No wonder everyone is so depressed. No, you aren't allowed to have any joy ever. It's not realistic! D:
How does a happy ending betray the sacrifices along the way? Wouldn't a happy ending validate that the sacrifices were made to accomplish something, rather than you're screwed no matter what you do and the friends you've made and lost along the way?
Edit: ToP!
I can deal with bittersweet endings, but these endings were not only too bitter, not enough sweet, but also full of plot holes and totally without a feeling of closure.
I agree with not seeing why there would be any problem with a happy ending, though. Even if Shep destroys the relays and ends up with her LI doesn't mean that there haven't been sacrifices along the way. Without a happy ending those sacrifices were pretty much useless. People have died all over the place, cities have been destroyed, some species have been pretty much wiped out and some planets pretty much destroyed. Not sure that qualifies as a Disney ending even if both Shep and Kaidan survive and get a future together. The unrealistic part is defeating the Reapers on a galaxy-wide scale in the first place, which can already be done in the current ending. It is not unrealistic that there will be survivors, and it is not unrealistic that Kaidan and Shep could be among those survivors.

You have to be in a relationship before meeting him. So just hook up with somebody (Liara, I guess) and then go talk to him; you should get the friendship.Made Nightwing wrote...
Quick question, does anyone know how I get the Bro!Kaidan path? I read at some point that there were two paths, romance and bro, but my M!Shep keeps having to turn him down at the cafe. I mean, I loved Cortez's friendship path because when we got to Purgatory, he makes a comment about eye-candy on the dance floor and my Shep can be his usual Casanova self and make a comment on the female dancers. Is there any moment where I can pull that off with Kaidan?
I think you can put off meeting him pretty much forever, so just don't go until you have an active romance.
Thanks.
BTW, I laugh so hard when Kaidan keeps up his sly innuendos about various women in the galaxy. His comments on EDI, and how he would have been a gonner if he'd met an Ardat Yakshi were utterly hilarious.

This. I want a bitterSWEET ending and I want to have a choice like I had in ME2. What is wrong to see your LI is holding Shepard (alive!) and they both are smiling, because they survived and the threat of the Reapers is over?
One of the beautiful moments with Kaidan :innocent::

What i can't deal with is that they promise multiple endings where we actually got only 1, nothing was explained specialy the reapers, every cycle have one reaper made so am I to belive that the harbinger was able to take down advanced civilization alone?? nothing make sense
Everybody is fighting for better future, Mordin gave up his life for Krogans Legion for geth i wouldn't mind Shep giving his for the galaxy but the situatin at the end of the game is just like dark age - living at all cost is not a living
i really think that the best for shep would to be stranded on that planet with everyone
After all s/he accomplished would be hard to have a normal life
or since spacemagic exist she should wake up in the med bay on first normandy after eden prime go to the citadel and unplug the ai kid no reapers no threat - happy ending everyone ( except Jenkins and Nihlus) are alive

Started to write my own ending, with Casey's statement, I just dont feel like they will solve the ending issue. I hope I'm wrong but my gut is like "they think they did good"
Right now all they are doing is damage control and stalling it seems..but for what, I don't know. Part of me wishes they would just stand by the product they released and tell us "This is it, sorry it isn't what you wanted, but this is how we wanted to end the story and thus we won't change it."
The deflecting, cryptic tweets and whatnot make this an emotional rollercoaster ride I don't want to be on.
I want my closure, my happy ending with Kaidan and I don't want to feel bad for wanting it because everything has to end bleak period, and I've said it elsewhere as well..it will ALWAYS be bittersweet. Just look at the state the universe is left in, the lives lost, the future they are facing...yes Shepard lives, so does Kaidan, but the price was high....as it should have been. I'm happy for those who loved the ending and got their closure but I want mine as well.
Currently it's a PR war out there and I have a feeling the consumers (or fans) will loose it, as we tend to do, but this time...we are giving them one hell of a run.
It's sad that my first time posting in this thread is for all the wrong reasons, but there you have it...these are sad times to begin with.

I need to get a full shot of him in that armor. But I have these two shots.
And I find this one funny.
I love that armor, though I don't think I ever used it for some reason in the game, but I saw it in a lot of the videos for the 'goodbye' scene and now Kaidan needs to be wearing that.

Yeah - people are going to start getting tired of it. I know I am. If it is their intention to change the ending, this is possibly the worst way they could go about it.Jhosephine wrote...

I suspect they are currently working on some sort of ending dlc.. they are being way too cagey about it all to not be doing 'something' about it
I still dont think anything will be available till april/may, but I just found out the poll is up to like nearly 400k people which has to be making Bioware/Ea nervous.. if that many people choose never to buy another Bioware product, then thats alot of $$$$ out of their pockets.. which is why I assume that instead of 'standing by their product' they have said... 'hey, what do you all want to see happen'

haha yeah i dont care if they both die, as long as its in each others arms.. sad no?
on another note.. gamespot.au did a show, its called crosshairs, and shockhorror we got called entitled players who have no right to demand that Bioware change 'their work of art', the fools havent finished it, cause if they had they wouldnt be going.. and i quote ' theres 16 endings, surely you can find something that fits....
there were like 54 comments all calling them out about the fact that its actually 3 dif endings with slight tweaks... I hate that reviewers/gaming industry peeps, dont play a product but call us all basically jerks without knowing what the hell the issue even is... <_<
