on another note.. gamespot.au did a show, its called crosshairs, and shockhorror we got called entitled players who have no right to demand that Bioware change 'their work of art', the fools havent finished it, cause if they had they wouldnt be going.. and i quote ' theres 16 endings, surely you can find something that fits....

there were like 54 comments all calling them out about the fact that its actually 3 dif endings with slight tweaks... I hate that reviewers/gaming industry peeps, dont play a product but call us all basically jerks without knowing what the hell the issue even is... <_<

I hate when they write articles without doing their homework. In the end they are the one's that look like a bunch of jackasses when people call them out on it. I don't think a video game has ever made me this angry and upset before. I actually feel betrayed! I paid for a CE to get this BS ending? Serious!! I got the so called "best" ending yet it explains nothing!

I'm scared to death to do the ending because I'm at one of those moments where ok so everyone I took to the beam with me is dead and I'm possibly alive with them dead around me or do I take them with me and somehow we get seperated and Joker has them with him. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Then Casey comes out with some BS statement that doesn't even reassure us of anything. Sorry, it's just I've never bought something that wasn't finished. That is what this game feels like to me. NOT FINISHED! Like buying a movie with the last hour dubbed out or a book that has the last chapter ripped out. I would return that **** in a heartbeat! I'm not a happy camper right now<_<

So watching the beam hit and had to see what happened to Kaidan. Whenever he gets hurt his bar at the bottom flashes... It never does in the run. Only you get hit and the random people

Do you even see your squadmates running with you? I didn't see Kaidan & Vega anywhere, only their icons

Yes, if anyone has played Witcher 2 I also would like to know if i can play w/out being uber depressed.  Comes out in April for the xbox so I had thought about...but I CAN NOT DO ANOTHER SAD ENDING.  

And on Bioware.  I'm done.  The statement Casey Hudson made just completely deflated me.  I personally think they will stand there ground and say, done is done.  I would love to be proved wrong but his statement makes it abundantly clear THIS was the intended ending so the DLC truth or whatever must be simply some troll or rumor.  

I am just so depressed now.  I've been holding out hope since before the game came out when I read the spoilers - thinking I could somewhow find some ending different than the ones I had seen.  Then w/ all the fan rage, the tweets I hoped at the very least they might entertain the notion of pleasing their fans...now...I feel hopeless.  The only reason to play ME3 for me now is the Kaidan romance...I'll just quit befoe the end and head canon it i guess.

im still gonna give in another few weeks, but like you I will stop all my playthru's right before the ending heheh

and hope that some epic fanfic comes out that makes the endings much much better for us

I know, that's my thinking, too. Although I would easily buy any LI DLC, I'll admit.

Since I deleted my first playthrough in a fit of pique, I'm going through it all again, but tbh it's more fun popping in and out of systems where I've alerted the reapers and tryoing to avoid them, than playing the actual game.  Think I need another date with Kaidan!

As far as I was able to read from the feedback thread there are a lot of requests asking for more choices in the ending, including a happy one. :happy:

I love how the music I'm listening to swelled when I scrolled by those gifs. ... granted, it's the ending theme to Final Fantasy X so now it just feels mildly depressing instead.

And "I lied, I didn't come up here just for a quick drink" still makes me feel all fuzzy inside. Now, if I could just stop feeling so apathic and finish my studies so I could try and draw something. Drawing Shenko for the whole duration of the free week I have between the test and the start of a school project sounds like a good therapy. That or Bioware coming with some sort of comment, which I don't expect for another while considering how much panic their/EA's PR team must be in right now.

Bittersweet - there was nothing sweet! Sweet would be Shep living and reuniting with her team on Earth (I have to write off Magic Normandy Escape as hallucination because it makes no damn sense), but those that survived the Reaper invasion would be left without loved ones, Mordin, Thane, all their families... and if there are no relays, they'll be stranded. There's very little sweet in the aftermath of a war, there's elation at first, then there's time for grief and then slow painful rebuilding.

Oh and let's not forget poor Bailey and the millions of inhabitants and refugees who were on the damn Citadel.

yea... its certainly promising.. and for bioware to even be considering letting us determine future dlc they surely must be worried a little about the number of people who are unhappy.. so here's hoping we get our happily ever after

Silly me went for a NG+ immediately so I don't know if I got this after beating the game or getting it very early in the game when I start the NG+... although either way doesn't make sense at all in the context of the story... (and oh my Shep doesn't have enough EMS *stupid MP* to breathe at the red ending). I think I saw other threads discussing about the possibility of the ending isn't what it seems to be from this umm... text message.

It came right after Anderson's "Losing comms. It's hell down here Shepard..." and right before Liara's "If it's all right, I've set up my equipment in the old XO quarters." Liara's is definitely from the NG+

The bomb mission's on a timer.  I think you can do Tuchanka, find turian squad, coup, then bomb.  So as long as you do the bomb, before the rachni mission you should be okay.  That one doesn't disappear.

If I might cut in, the ending is one thing, but there's one more, in my humble opinion, namely: the romance with Kaidan has not that many dialogue lines as one might expect from an RPG game. Right, Mass Effect has been intended to blend best of action and RPG elements, yet certain elements have been treated slightly negligently. Crew interaction is fine for me, lots of dialogues etc., yet if you decide to romance somebody... Shouldn't it open additional deal of interaction?

bomb is a timed mission u can do up to 3 mission till it disapper but never tried this one its what game guide is saying but its was wrong few times so dunno
