Totally agreed. Of all the ME2 options for FemShep, I felt like Thane was the only one with an outright "crush" (terrible word, but best I can think of to describe it) on Shepard. While all three options admired her (and I'm not hating on Jacob or Garrus - the Garrus/FemShep romance was extremely well done!), she really had to push a bit to get Garrus and Jacob to go there. Thane had the admiration thing going too, but he really seemed to become captivated by her. So yeah, I was right there with you on the "awww" when Thane offered to protect Kaidan.

I love The Witcher games - both of them. (Geralt *sighs*)
Two games where your choice REALLY do matter and change the game in huge ways.
I would so go for it to anyone that hasnt played either - and pick up both - its worth getting the first as well. I have my TW2 CE sitting next to me on a shelf and I dont regret a second of buying it. (You have no idea how much it cost over here in Australia lol)

I know what you mean, I started up a new game a few days ago and I keep starting it up, playing for 5 minutes then just leaving it lol.

Anelle!  She plays to WIN!  Even though normally she's quite paragon.  This time, though, my adept spent her six months in detention learning how to use a sniper rifle.  We're pretty good with it now.    And we had to show Garrus that!

Same here, I'm having fun with my playthrough but I've already got 20 hours on the file and I've done only four missions, which would put me at around 6 hours. I spent the other 14 staring at the screen, trying to convince myself to keep playing in order to see Kaidan again. It's just... so hard

Wow I am finally able to post here. I had a little problem with not remembering the email address that my gamertag used for ea. I have been wanting to thow my 2 cents in and now here it is. I have been a huge kaidan fan since playing mass effect 1. I couldn't even bring myself to "cheat" with any charecters i imported until a few weeks before the ME3 release. While there were some parts that I liked about the romance in ME3 I have to say I was dissapointed,. The first thing I noticed when I saw Kaidan was that they had changed his looks way too much. He was sooo pale and beefy. What was that about. I loved the build they gave him in the first game. In fact I couldn't ride in an elevator with out using the camara to feast on Kaidan eye candy. Even in 2 he looked droolworthy in his green armor but 3 didn't measure up. As for the romance itself while i loved the date and the goodbye I thought that there just wasn't enough. I was very dissapointed that when my femshep was on edge after Thessia they didn't have a scene where kaidan comforts her. Maybe after waiting sooo long for some Kaidan screen time I had my hopes too high but I think that he got the short end of the stick romance wise compared to the others. Oh well there is always fanfiction.

Right there with ya .  Started an Infiltrator, haven't gotten much past Mars yet... and only that because you kinda have to.  We'll see how I fare over the next few days.

 YAY finally got Kaidan back on my second playthrough, and both the Bomb and the Rachni missions are still active wooo. :DFor some reason I didn't enjoy the citadel coup this time, felt on edge, my heart was racing. :unsure:I kept thinking 'What if I pick the wrong dialogue' or something like that as I'm playing renegade. But it was all fine, used the renegade interrupt, which at first I though oh crap but when Kaidan muttered 'I better not regret this' I let out he biggest sigh of relief ever! B)I find hard to play a pure renegade, I couldn't stop Mordin from releasing the cure, it was really sad at the funeral for Eve. (Wrex is really pissed at you for destroying Maelon's data, with good reason  I suppose.) I find it really had to pick renegade options when talking to my crew, was helping Cortez and how can you not use the paragon interrupts. Anyway for some reason my datapad has stopped updating I think. Haven't had any messages for ages. 
Also it's so odd when playing as femshep but all the pictures for the gear are Sheploo. I never noticed it really then I was buying the Kwashii Visor, I was like 'What the hell, that's male shepard!'

  You guys are mean.  I saw this in the Demo and about broke down crying.  Even in my second playthrough I get misty-eyed.  It's not the kids fault the Catalyst AI uses him.

But then I might just be projecting.  I have a nephew the kids age.

Im the same as you guys... Im trying to do my insanity run.
I get on... do one mission, maybe two... and exit back out or just walk away lol.
(Walking away a lot made my first PT over 60 hours lol)
This PT is just going to take forever.
Usually when a new game comes out Im all over it.
This time I find myself playing other stuff to fill the time between being able to get a mission done in ME3 >.> Thats just not me..

^^ This, this and more this. If the endings were better I would have finished my 1st playthrough then turned around and dived back in. As it is now I finished my 1st PT but I just can't seem to muster up the enthusiasm to go around again, even though Kaidan is now available for my M!Shep.

My canon Shep is an Adept.  I think the game is easier with her.  Though it might be because I've had a lot of practice, I guess.
