Major Kaidan Alenko in ME3: We're going to need a bigger boot.

I swear, the romance is the only thing keeping me playing again. Sorta like a light in the middle of the tunnel...
Well, actually, ME3 isn't much like a tunnel. It's more like a beautiful, grassy, natural forest path, with light filtering down through the fluttering leaves, a slight breeze to carry the fresh air. Then you see a rose bush on the side of the path, stop to smell it and admire how perfect it is - And then suddenly rocks fall and everyone dies.

Is it sad that I'm trying to replay from ME1 just for the Kaidan romance? I need something to hold me over while this whole endings controversy is happening.

I wish there was more before the end, more dialogue, more missions. Anything to keep from that horrible crap.

I also noticed while that while I was watching DanaDuchy's version of Modded ManShep's conversation with Kaidan if Shep romanced him in ME1 (linky: www.youtube.com/watch), he says "You almost died on my watch, it was horrible to see," followed by a silent line that said "and I care about what happens to you," to which Kaidan replies by saying "Me too, that means a lot Shepard," and Kaidan holds his hands.
However, for the life of me, I cannot find the femshep version of this at all. Out of all FemShep Kaidan Hospital Visit videos I've seen, every time FemShep says "You almost died on my watch, it was horrible to see," Kaidan always follows up with "I want you to be straight with me then..." even if the FemShep was faithful to him in ME2. Was this silent line intended to be M/M only?
Also, another note, I noticed Kaidan mentioned Ashley in his conversation, but Ashley never dropped Kaidan's name in any of her conversations. This makes me sad.
Sorry I'm really bored LOL. Analyzing different conversation paths with Kaidan... totally productive.
... LOL OMG. If I had coffee it'd be all over my monitor now!!!LadyofRivendell wrote...

I got the "You almost died on my watch, it was horrible to see," followed by an "and I care about what happens to you," which Kaidan then says "Me too, that means a lot Shepard" and then he held my hand as well.
The only time I have noticed the I want you to be straight comes up is if femshep had a relationship in ME2 or a flag is not firing correctly.
I'm not sure if Kaidan has the Rhana chat with mshep because I just started my playthrough with him so I don't know yet. I haven't got that far.

My Femshep has gotten the "And I care about what happens to you." / "Me, too. That means a lot, Shepard." on two different playthroughs so far. I've never seen the "be straight with me" line. I'd assume that's from romancing someone in ME2, and possibly a bug if that's showing up and didn't...

Argh why doesn't xbox have a way to record video or take pics! So irritating.....
I can help with that
I've been recording taking pics from my 360 all night. Just finished Photoshopping this shot, I think I'm going to upload and use that for a new avatar.
Is anyone else finding that their FemShep leveled up dramatically in the beauty department?
Man, I can't wait until I get to Kaidan's scenes. Screenshots galore!

We heard anything on the face codes? If I had one in ME1 (and uploaded it into ME2) is there anyway to find out what that code is so I could manually type it in in ME3? Right now it says it's glitched and refers me to the defaults.
Have you tried tweaking with the CC until you get your Shep back how s/he should look? That's what I had to do with mine, since her import was a bit off.
As for official news, I haven't heard anything. But I'm no expert *clearly*

There wasn't the option. A little message popped up saying the face couldn't be imported. They reset all of the face data.

Oh, yikes, sorry, I don't know then aside from suggesting you completely recreate the face? But you've probably already figured that out by now
Edit: For the custom avatar, you have to either use Origins (fastest, most reliable way) or the Origins Pre-Release character creator.
Here's a guide using the actual game, and here's a guide using the free Character Creator.
Using the actual game, it takes me about an hour to finish the process. Using the character creator, it takes me anywhere from six hours to a month to do it. The former is a much better option, but the latter does work if you don't have the game and you're patient.
