I'm bored and nitpicky so I have random nitpicky questions.  Just trying to figure out what choices trigger certain reactions in Kaidan conversations… How do you trigger the line about Rahna in the hospital? You only get this as FemShep from ME1 if you talked about it to him then right?

I also noticed while that while I was watching DanaDuchy's version of Modded ManShep's conversation with Kaidan if Shep romanced him in ME1 (linky: www.youtube.com/watch), he says "You almost died on my watch, it was horrible to see," followed by a silent line that said "and I care about what happens to you," to which Kaidan replies by saying "Me too, that means a lot Shepard," and Kaidan holds his hands.

However, for the life of me, I cannot find the femshep version of this at all.  Out of all FemShep Kaidan Hospital Visit videos I've seen, every time FemShep says "You almost died on my watch, it was horrible to see," Kaidan always follows up with "I want you to be straight with me then..." even if the FemShep was faithful to him in ME2. Was this silent line intended to be M/M only?

I can actually answer that one since I just played that last night - for my femShep he did, indeed, say that.

We heard anything on the face codes?
If I had one in ME1 (and uploaded it into ME2) is there anyway to find
out what that code is so I could manually type it in in ME3? Right now
it says it's glitched and refers me to the defaults.

I used a method which involves the Gibbed editor.  I'll see if I can find the link.  It's a bit fiddly but it does work.

There's no way to just find the old code?  It's not listed anywhere during the first 2 games?

What should you do?  KAIDAN!   Sorry, tired joke.

Playing the London goodbyes, so need to amuse myself.  That or get more wine.

It's my belief that the game suddenly ends at this point: see, the Reapers are moved by the power of LOVE, see the folly of their ways, and stop.  Harby comes down, face to Reaper with Shepard, and sniffles.  He says how he never had anyone to love him.  Shepard then takes something offered by James,  a basket full of kittens (tuxedoes, an orange tabby, a tortoise shell, a cute Russian blue).  Kaidan wraps his arm around Shepard's waist as Shep hands the basket of kittens to Harby.  One of the kittens looks up at Harbinger and mews with a paw outstretched.  Now, if you have enough EMS, Harby takes the kittens and all retreat back to dark space.  You occasionally find Reaper-themed LOLCats on the extranet, especially on ICanHasReapurrz.  If you don't, the kitten bats at Harby's tentacle playfully, goes to fully kitten attack mode and takes him out.  The rest of the Reapers, shamed over this, immolate themselves in the nearest sun.

 This ending, I like.

Secret ending: Harby sings, "What Is Love?" before being offered the kittens.
You know, I'm sad that we never got to hear about Vega's cat.

My brother found his in the Shepard's squad screen in ME2. Though I suspect it might have to do with having to open the face modification screen after the opening sequence, then backing out of it without making any changes to the face. The facecodes showed up in the menu after this, but I haven't tried it again to make sure.

Can't you use a USB thumb drive to transfer saves? That's how I do it on my PS3s, anyways, but I haven't tried anything like that with my 360 yet.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.  I swear it used to list your code at the bottom of the Squad Screen in ME2.  Guess not.

I think it does if you make a face in ME2, but not if you import a face from ME1.

I was able to get the face code on Xbox 360 by importing a finished ME2 save for a new game (whose face was kept the same from ME1).  Then I went to customize and instead of reverting to the default Shepard, my original ME1 face stayed there (minus makeup and lipstick I think).  Then you get the code.  That really doesn't help with ME3 though because the features are all slightly off, so even when I stuck that code in ME3, it didn't look anything like my ME1 face.  So my femshep got "prettied up" a bit for ME3 but that's okay because Kaidan did too.

I was very dissapointed that when my femshep was on edge after Thessia they didn't have a scene where kaidan comforts her. Maybe after waiting sooo long for some Kaidan screen time I had my hopes too high but I think that he got the short end of the stick romance wise compared to the others. Oh well there is always fanfiction.

Agreed on Thessia! Shep's at her lowest, she's had a really bad mission, she's snapping at Joker, she's mad with everything... perhaps Kaidan's staying clear in case he gets in her way, but he could have at least popped up to her quarters briefly to check in on her. That was definitely a missing scene that I would have liked to see. Heck, I needed a hug after Thessia.

Yeah, I felt like that was a good time for a talk like after the Normandy was grounded. I don't know, sometimes I feel like they put so much effort into the first half and big parts of the second half feel like an after thought. Maybe it's just cause the first half is SO good.

The game really needs (apart from the obvious!) a repeatable hug and kiss.  Then I could log 14 hours play time, doing just those two things!

I swear, the romance is the only thing keeping me playing again. Sorta like a light in the middle of the tunnel...
Well, actually, ME3 isn't much like a tunnel. It's more like a beautiful, grassy, natural forest path, with light filtering down through the fluttering leaves, a slight breeze to carry the fresh air. Then you see a rose bush on the side of the path, stop to smell it and admire how perfect it is - And then suddenly rocks fall and everyone dies.

lol, this is so true

I wish there was more before the end, more dialogue, more missions. Anything to keep from that horrible crap.

Nicely put, LadyofRivendell - I just spat tea all over my monitor there!

Wish it was more like DA:O - that's just about perfect when it comes to romances, conversations etc.

Sigh.  I just turned off the Xbox and vacuumed the house.  That's how badly I'm faring with this at the moment!

You know what I like about this romance scene...that Kaidan and Shep look so happy together. They're looking into eachothers eyes and  both of them are smiling when Kaidan carries her. It makes their affection for eachother seem very, very genuine. BW really did that scene well.

Can I just say that your fanfics are quite nice? They're subtle and they add quite a bit to what already exists into the game - really well done.

EDIT: Dropping letters like I drop 50s - that is to say I dropped a 50 once and picked it back up

Thanks! I'm glad you like them :)  It really means a lot to me to hear that people enjoy them.

I'm working on a post-ending fan-fic right now, but it's turned out to be harder than I thought it would be and it's not coming along that well for the moment...May publish it anyway, though.

I'm writing one aswell, changing the purpose of the Reapers to work with it, kinda hard but their reasoning was kinda lame. IMO anyway. Obviously it will be SHENKO. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/devil.png[/smilie]

Might upload a rough version see what people think and then edit. Would love to see yours, love your fics.

I was bored, so I listened some random music. And there was the song (Don't fear) The Reaper by HIM. Beautiful/sad lovesong and I think about Shepard and Kaidan, when I listen it. :crying:
