I had two files that I imported to ME3: one where Shepard was loyal to Kaidan and another where she hooked up with Thane. To be honest, I was pretty satisfied with Kaidan's dialogue in my "romanced Thane" file. He brought up Shepard's relationship with Thane, and then I had the choice to lie about the relationship, explain, or apologize. I played through all three options to check out his reaction.

When you decide to apologize, he tells Shepard that he understands, and that he still cares. He also puts his hands on hers. If Shepard explains that their fight on Horizon turned her away, he says that he "owns" his mistake on Horizon, and he doesn't lock her out of the room. I have to admit that I particularly liked this scene becase he admitted that his reaction was partly to blame for Shepard romancing someone else. If Shepard lies, Kaidan gets upset. He says something along the lines of, "I know. Everybody knows," and insists that Shepard leaves. If you tell Kaidan you're sorry, you get to stay and talk to more. If you're like, "Alright, Kaidan. Deuces," you get locked out of the room.

Ultimately, I can't say that romancing someone else results in a "better" romance. Some of the dialogue changes, but everything else, in my opinion, remains largely the same.

Who here would have liked to have a scene that was unlocked specifically for those who stayed loyal??

Well, the gameinformer thought that the endings to ME3 were great and answered all questions providing a satisfying resolution. So I think we can all agree that their opinion means jack. 

Plus, my type has always been the shy, soft spoken type but who's passionate in their beliefs. You can always count on them to show up and save the day but never to brag about it. I hate the overly macho guys who think they need to be completely emotionless and love to show off. You can be confident without being a douche about it. If you ever watched baseball there are some guys who will act like they just won the championship after hitting a homerun. But my favorite player just hits the homerun and runs the bases like nothing happened.

Alistair, Fenris, and Kaidan were always there when you needed them, but still refused to compromise on their beliefs. They were skilled but they never bragged about it. And I never considered them whiny, just a tad sensitive. Wish I could meet a guy like that in real life, but I guess those are some lofty standards

/the Phillies, Chase Utley. But he's injured a lot. Guys I like tend to get hurt a lot :/

One of my favorite dialogues for Kaidan happens at Eden Prime with Liara.
He asks Liara if she has ever found a dinosaur and then Liara goes on into this mini lecture about how she's an archeologist and not a paleontologist and how different they are. Then she says something like, "Wait..you're joking right?" And Kaidan responds with just, "Nah." He obviosly was but didn't want to make her feel bad afterwards 

I just love it since I work at a paleontology lab with bones.

I spoke to my ex today. I explained the endings.. he was silent for about 5 minutes before I got a befuddled "That doesn't even make sense"
He doesn't care too much, wasn't going to buy it anyway after the demo. His words - he doesn't like first person shooters.
He played 1 & 2 - liked 1 a lot more than 2. The end to 3 has him totally confused heh. Think he is looking it up on the net because he doesn't believe me.

Voted! I wish we get a VS-Mission-DLC like Liara in ME2. For example,we help Kaidan to find his Dad. *a girl can dream*

Just reading a few back pages. In terms of the dialogue in missions, I always took Liara but it changed between Kaidan and her for missions who would speak the most. I thought it may have something to do with who you pick first? Not sure though.

I can't find Kaidan after the Prority; Thessia mission on the ship. Does anyone know where he is on the ship after that mission? I can find everyone (ie. Tali by the crew members' list, Liara and Garrus in their own allocated spaces respectively) but not Kaidan

You're lucky ... just talked in the Ash thread with shot_u about reduced Ash romance. You Kaidan fans got additional romance dialogues plus Kaidan is interacting at least once with another crewmember ... and still the VS got the shortest end of the stick of all "permanent squadmates". Almost including Tali.

Really wonder why BW decided to sideline the VS. Besides the initial influence on the story, the VS is sidelined for half of the story and once s/he returns, his/her significance is ... "to be here on the ship". Besides that ... disappointing. Guess I'm not alone here
