Still trying to write this fanfic, trying to think what sort of nickname Vega would give Kaidan. Anyone got any ideas?

Well I know the Repear IFF is still around and EDI in one of your convos admits to EVA body being Repear tech herself and Joker interupts her and says don't say that or people will get nervous to some sort. I can't remember  how that line goes but it is before any of the geth/quarian missions. So there is plenty of Repear tech around. Everything is leaning towards Indoctrination. That is whole crappy thing about the endings is that it leaves so much room open for interrpretation. People are looking for an explanation to the crazy ending.

I didn't mean to imply there's something wrong with people going with the indoctrination theory.  I don't buy into that one myself, but I'm definitely all for us making our own endings.  Heck, that was the only way I was able to play the game again.

I swear he refered to Kaidan as Tarquin at one point when he mentions how it's a shame he didn't rejoin the crew.

Correction. It's not a crappy thing about the ending. It's just a crappy ending. An ending shouldn't force the players to make their own in order for them to be satisfied with it.

If we all have to make our own endings in order to be at peace with it, then they did their job poorly.

No offense taken. The endings are crap and at this point people are just trying to find anything to fill the blanks which is sad. I hope they really do something about it...


Edit: I shouldn't say endings! I should say ending.

I third this. I've gone in the room where Kaidan is laying on that chaise thingy, but all he says is "Let's talk later" or whatever. Are all these lines random? I swear I visit Kaidan after every freakin' mission, and I haven't gotten half the conversations with him that you guys are talking about.

The "wake me" lines seem like they happen after something, though. Are they triggered after a certain previous scene or conversation with him, maybe?

I'm running my Sheploo Vanguard now to test the Renegade variables and I want to keep his Miranda romance... and also because I can only see him being straight as an arrow.

I heard that asking about his biotics in the hospital conversation nets a hidden flirt (the one where *at least* in my canon femShep playthrough, will talk about "you get better with age"... don't know if the dialogue is different if you don't import his romance from ME1)... So I have to avoid this dialogue...? I'm finishing up Mars soon and chose a few Renegade dialogue with him when they talked about Shep's ressurection... Shep goes "I am who I am, now you can leave or you can stay" and Kaidan sounded pretty butt-hurt "I'm with you... for now". I just don't want to lose him after Udina's Coup. Not sure if going too Renegade with him on Mars will cause him to reject rejoining the Normandy... and I really want to have Kaidan around. Also am I not suppose to buy the Whiskey for him then? *I suddenly felt bad for being terrible to him*, and my Vanguard is supposed to be good friends with Kaidan ><

So help? Any inputs will be appreciated!

I got it right between the 2 side missions on Rannoch (Koris rescued but geth server not done yet), before completing the main priority mission but after the geth dreadnought.

I've only just finished Rannoch (with every side mission in between) so I haven't heard a lot from him. The first, and only time, I've seen him reclining, he just said, "Let's talk later". When he was asking EDI about his team, he was sitting on the couch staring out the window. When he talked about the geth virtual reality, he was leaning on the wall next to the window. The only time I've seen him out his "room" is when he talks to you about Cerberus in the crew quarters and when he plays poker with Vega (the latter of which I only caught the start of the conversation). Speaking of...Kaidan has beachfront property or something like that? Was he talking about his parent's place or his own? Also, does anyone else get the feeling that Kaidan is well off?  He mentions his family owning an orchard, and his parent's house overlooking the ocean.

Oh, another thing...and I think someone else mentioned it earlier...is the only time he's on the Citadel during your date? So far, I've seen every crew member on shore leave, but he's never on the map. Do you ever encounter him on the Citadel?

He mentions that in the first game - it was something like "my parent's property matured to beachfront."  Meaning, I took it anyway, as global warming had caused sea level rises.

What he had in ME1 was acceptable. Just a bit of hair in the middle going from his chest to ... yeah. It wasn't very much hair but I liked it. (And I don't really like excessive hair on men either. It's usually none or some.)

Been playing some MP, only got kicked out of one game so far due to me being level 1. MEANIES.

Lvl 7 now, readiness at 58%. I might disconnect to the internet and see if that stops it from degrading.

I might be up for playing later if anyone wants to on xbox
