I really appreciate Dusty Everman's post, and his apology. It just sucks that it seems highly unlikely that this bug will ever be fixed.

Because, just like he says, some issues aren't so easy to fix in a patch.

I wondered too why they were so silent, were a bit disappointed considering they were my favorite NPCs back in ME2, but... weird bugs happen I guess.

... now there's a very amusing mental image. And considering the constant pattern of bridges/walkways/the ground collapsing underneath Shepard, I'd say it'd be a good skill to have.

So glad I never romanced Jacob, and now I never will. Thane maybe, Garrus definitely, but that guy? nope. And OMG I didn't know Steve wouldn't die if I talked to him more!! I love that guy!

Thanks, that one just seems funnier. Like Shepard wants Kaidan to do tricks with his biotics or something

I prefer my characters to have a real reason to be in the story and for their arcs to be a part of the main story so I get to know them as part of the action and not as a side show to the action.

Yet that wasn't what you said in your first post that started it all. You weren't talking that you don't like "personal stories", you made it clear it was also about the homosexual part. AIn't like you would say it's a "sensitive, highly-charged subject" in case he had a wife. So yeah, let's not go there in the future again.

Howdy, guys!  Just curious if anyone else that plays on the Xbox gets random freezing up of their game?  Really slow load times?  Also...has anyone come up with a fix for importing other than the really long process of putting it on a flash drive or whatever? 

I have one pt where I romanced Garrus, but I'm afraid to play it because I know as soon as I see Kaidan I will dump Garrus and then I'll feel bad, because I really like Garrus, I just LOVE Kaidan

So I'm still stuck. I want Kaidan with me on the Bomb mission. But I need to get Benning opened up, which doesn't seem to happen until after I find Victus Jr. which of course starts the timer on the bomb.

If the order is Junior, Genophage, Coup, Bomb how on earth do I get to Benning and find that diplomats kid BEFORE the citadel, and the bomb goes off.

It's worth a shot. I'm going to check out the Cerberus lab on Tuchanka first, and see if THAT triggers Benning too. I don't think it's tied to anything. Then find Junior, then genophage/citadel/bomb

I would greately appreacite if you tested it. The key is to find out how long can we delay the Platoon mission since that's what the Bomb depends on.

Yeah, figuring out the timing on some of these missions is hard.  My first pt I was able to complete the Benning mission and turn in the tags to the ambassador.  When I played through the 2nd time to get to 60 some how I messed it up, I got the tags, but the guy was gone when I got back to the Citadel and I'm not sure what I did differently.

The teleporting squadmates part is single-handedly the worst part of the ending. I think they did it for the sake drama/bittersweat, to have your Shep separated you from many friends and LI and didn't even bother with the fact that it made no sense in the story.

Yeah, just saw an argument that suggested your crew was scared and didn't want to go through another suicide mission and you were selfish for dragging them along on the final battle on earth. Thus they left of their own voilition.. wow do you even know who your crew are?

I think it helps if it's installed. Although I had terrible terrible lag on my first plathrough during the cutscene after the flotillia take out the reaper. I think it had to do with Legion, he's head lamp was going crazy the Xbox didn't like the bloom effect outside one bit. Ruined the entire cutscene for me, which was supposed to be sad.

Just a thought but when I finished ME2 I think one of the biggest influences in my upbeat motivated "yeah! we can do this!" was the music - this time round the themes were all changed, and I guess that had something to do with the change in the music team, but without that punchy battle-worthy rousing climax, just the quiet contemplation at the end - it does not help with the overall mood. Watching the romance scene with Kaidan I felt so down, I just felt like it was a farewell because Shep's gonna die - and at the time I didn't know if she was going to or not, but I figured they'd end up killing one of them off, just because they could, it was such a feeling of the last time ever ever. The music at the end of ME2 made me want to play again, I think that was a huge part of it. I want to feel like I could conquer the whole damn galaxy, that's how Shepard and ME made me feel before, now I just feel crap.

Well that didn't trigger Benning. Took the canons back, got a pat on the back from Hackett and that was that. Dammit! I missed the diplomat's completion last time because the coup changes the whole citadel. Trying not to have that happen again, it looks like theres no way to both have Kaidan with the bomb AND complete benning.

The Benning quest opens up after the Platoon quest and the Rachni quest with Grunt, as I wanted Kaidan with me on both and with the strict time-limits on the bomb quests I lost it after the Citadel coup quest.

It might be worth installing it to see how it fares, I think the loading times are better and..
Thank you, I had no idea it an actual name! how awesome , I used it for the rank, I wanted Commander but it was taken but ran with Commodore and it's better. 

Edit: I just googled searched  Commodore Q is apparently a marvel comic character  
BUT searching in images a picture of Kaidan comes up

Thanks for that! I saw it unlock last night with the platoon quest. So maybe it's either/or? Gonna go find Baby Grunt and see if that works.

No, the Rachni quest can be delayed forever and it doesn't open Benning
