So I don't ever play the S/S romances, but I heard this song and it made me think of the Kaidan & M!Shep romance dialogue.

I got a datapad message from him, can't remember it exactly (phone is in the other room) but it says something like, "Hey, Shepard. I'm so happy. How can the world be so bleak *insert a line here I forgot*. Yours, Kaidan."

I hate that every time I go into my messages they're all scrambled up. They're not in the order I received them.  Anyway, I think Kaidan's e-mail is just titled "Dinner".  I also tend to get messages after...or maybe I just don't check my e-mail often enough. I visited Kaidan at the hospital the first time and met Thane without knowing they had both sent me e-mails to meet with them, lol.

He does send one... I got the messages about meeting everyone in my cabin.. did one mission and then got the email. Second playthrough I waited to see everyone in my cabin until after the date - makes it less awkward heh. if i ever get past these banshees i'll have a look once i get back on the ship and type it out.

Yeah, I never got the dinner invite email either. I was just wandering around the citadel and was like hey look, there's Kaidan. And then he thanked me for accepting his invite and I was very confused. Happy, but confused.

As for squadmates being concerned for Shepard, I LOVED that Garrus and Joker are looking out for her like that. Quite honestly, that's exactly how my headcanon plays out. Hell, even Wrex is concerned for her. However, I would've loved to have Kaidan ask about her well-being, too. I was sad that he doesn't really ask how she's doing. Especially at the end of the romance scene, where Shepard is starting to doubt herself, and Kaidan just kind of brushes it off and reassures her that everything will be okay. I completely understand that he's just trying to make her feel better, but I would've liked for Shepard to open up a bit more with him. In my headcanon, as much as she's trying to remain strong, Kaidan is the one that sees through her. I even made up a scene where he goes to her room with a tray of food because he notices that she's not eating.

*sigh* I really need to start writing, lol. My headcanon goes crazy with Kaidan around.

my headcannon is like that too. kaidan is the only one that sees through shepard and sees the real her.

I wish he had something after Thessia mainly. That would be great. The dialog tells us he's basically living in Shep's cabin (You didn't wake me, next time...wake me)., but it would be nice to SEE that at times. Like maybe Skyrim style, where you can click the bed to sleep, and you both go to sleep..black fade, and wake up.

As for him brushing off her concerns, I have to be ok with that since Vetta told him in ME1 that she just wanted a "it will be ok" sometimes. He said he could get used to that, I guess he did!

Since Shepard was part synthetic and the destroy option didn't kill her, does that mean she is now blind since the blast probably ****ed up all her synthetic parts, including her eyes which were also synthetic?

... Man, those endings just keep getting worse! Forever alone AND left completely blind, she can't evem jump back into her work to keep her mind off Kaidan and the rest of her crew!

after the final boss died, the esper or the spirits will died
unless they are strongly attached to something
But Terra (half-human, half-esper) survive because of strong attachment with the orphan
Just swap espers with synthetics

Traynor came up to my cabin. If you do it before the date with kaidan you get the option to shower with her lol... and the turn down line i found wasnt really all that nice... so I waited til after the date and didnt have to turn her down


and no I havent got past the stupid banshees yet >< Its driving me insane. Im up to 15 deaths now I think

 Finally I've caught up on this thread! Only took me most the week but I got there!

As disappointed as I was in the ending I just love the Kaidan romance too much to not play, currently doing my renegade Shep and loved being harsh with Kaidan on mars, it really fit with her character and it wasn't until he nearly died that she realized what she nearly lost. But now I'm going to get Eve and Wrex is so mad at me for destroying Maelons data ... I really don't like it!

I'm not entirely sure her eyes are Synthetic. If he helmet kept her brain intact as the logs stated, it may have kept her eyes protected enough to save too.

I know the feeling. For me, it's a mix of Kaidan and recording scenes/getting screenshots that's enabling me to replay. I have no clue how you're managing a Renegade, unless you're truly Renegade at heart  I always feel awful if I choose a Renegade choice that I don't initially agree with.

I know... Before I beat the game, I was like, "Pfft, everyone's overreacting."
And then...  It gets better, eventually... I think... Or it's supposed to...

But you've got your Kaidanites for support! We can offer cookies and ice cream and Kaidan pictures and life advice and whatever else it is that can help!

The best thing to do is make a headcanon ending - Personally, I'm going with the "It was all a dream" theory, at least for now. It helps me sleep at night. 
And don't listen to the devs, they're all liars <_<

So, speaking of the dates:  I had a close call tonight.  I was playing my adept (LOADS O' FUN, btw) and I was meeting all the squaddies on the citadel after the emails and I went and talked to Liara before Kaidan ( I was saving the best for last) and I almost ended up romancing her cuz I always pick the nice stuff to say and the top answer was "Or more than friends..." WHOA. WHOA. I like you Liara, but you are most definitely not my Kaidan.  Sorry.

I did that on my first playthrough. Between Liara and Leliana, ninjamancing will forever be a staple in Bioware games.

I never got that option with Liara even when I did talk to her before Kaidan/Ash in ME3.

I don't know why she was always locked out. Not that I mind, but it was sort of weird.
