Her feeling towards the ending does have to do with Kaidan seeing how she was hoping the ending maybe would lead to a happy ending with Kaidan. People here are pretty close. We play MP together and talk. We have gotten to know one another so we share how we feel about the endings. Yes we can go to another thread to talk about the endings but we are among friends here who understand how we feel. There are a lot of threads who hate Kaidan and if we bring how upset we are because we were hoping in the endings we could be with him 9/10 we will get shot down because Kaidan is a whiny Carth clone. This is a place where we can discuss that like I said cause most of us have gotten pretty close. So that is my take on that.

Everyone in this forum who loves this game and is a fan of Kaidan was as gutted as the next over  how these games ended.. I suggest perhaps that if you dont want to discuss/read about the endings of this game that you maybe refrain from posting or reading the BSN till Bioware announces the DLC in April and things settle down a bit?

Many of the Kaidanites are only just finishing up their play throughs and are more then welome to come in and vent their feelings over it all... It is after all part of the game, we all wanted our happy endings with Kaidan and Shep

I feel so confused when it comes to the whole subjunctive mood and tense thing. lol.
I always thought English is really difficult to learn(as a foreigner lives in the eastern world) thx for the lesson though.

I should go now. *run away*

I do understand were you are coming from, I didnt mean for my reply to sound harsh (stupid internet ) I just think the endings kinda shocked everyone and as someone else has already said there are few who are only just completing it due to location etc.


It's just going to be one of those subjects that will be everywhere for a while until Bioware says something. Saw your comment about your fanfic, when your done please post it here. Alot of us read fanfic especially if its Shenko.

The ones I bolded all make grammatical sense.  I understand your pain, though, I'm learning another language myself and subjunctive always catches me out.

But yeah, go romance Kaidan! There is no excuse!

I've played through the game at least thrice, and it never gets easier for me. I'm new to the ME franchise, having only started it a month ago...and I've had to have the Kleenex handy for the end, every time, because it felt like I had just made a new friend who was awesome and really cool and that I liked to spend time with...only to have that friend ripped away from me in some horrible and gut-wrenching manner before I could really get to know her and fully appreciate her awesomeness.

I'm hoping against hope that April's DLC will be "the actual ending" for ME3 and actually give players the option of having an actual "yes, your choices do matter" ending (where, to keep this topical, I want my ParagonShepard to have that happily-ever-after (or a reasonable facsimile thereof) with her Kaidan), rather than the bad acid trip that the "official" A-B-or-C ending was--but I have very strong doubts.

I'm glad you said that.  I got the impression that this thread was sort of for Kaidan fans to meet and talk rather than for K discussion and nothing else.  Maybe I'm wrong - I'm a relative newcomer to this thread after all (though not the game or the boards).  Anyway, the reason I stick around is because I like some of the people who post here.  And the pictures.  Especially the pictures.  No doubt if I wasn't such a MP ****, I'd play with you more often too.

I know its kinda out of blue, but here's a just one quick question about Kaidan:

So... where does he sleep?
I mean, I know he have his things in pre-Samara's room.

and AFAIK there's no bed or bed-like things.
I do know there's a very long couch near the edge but, srsly, who could sleep on a couch like EVERYDAY?

Does he share Shepard's bed or he just sleeps on the couch?
I doubt he would sleep on a bed in crew member's quarter cuz he's major now.

I had the same questions in my head - but combine that with the fact that he's the second human spectre, a Major in the Alliance military, and he's hanging out in the observation lounge? They could have at least given him a terminal, a mini office, or something. Shep goes out there to save the galaxy and he's just lying on the couch. Get off your backside, Major, get down to the war room! Or the armory, or help Garrus calibrate his big gun? ... on second thoughts that sounds a little awkward.

My guess is the starboard room.

He 's an officer and technically, and if I'm not mistaken, more ranked than Shepard. So, Shepard should have given him her own cabin (hell, she can share ! And she totally wants to !) But even if he spends time in the crew quarters, I think the ajar Starboard room has been laid out for him.

Edit : Okay, there's no bed there but... Starboard room is his quarters just for the official story. We all know he bunk with Shepard every night, don't we ?

I apologize for being off topic. I've only just finished the game and wanted to express a little about what I felt at the end. Like Silver mentioned, I've grown close to my fellow Kaidanites and knew that I would get the sympathy I needed after such an ordeal. And I did.  Love you guys!

I should have elaborated that the reason I felt so empty at the end was because I hated seeing Kaidan coming out of the Normandy in that garden world.  During his goodbye scene, it broke my heart to hear him say, "I can't lose you again" just because I knew that Shepard wasn't coming back. I cried my eyes out!  

On a different note, is it wrong of me to feel jealous that Kaidan might have...copulated with some of the Normandy crewmembers? I'm assuming that the Stargazer and the kid at the very end are descendants of the Normandy crew considering the camera pans out to show us the two moons. Better not have been Allers...

You know I was watching the green lantern and all the coloured beams had me thinking of the ending, like I can think of anything else *sigh* depressing if that's where they got their inspiration from.

I just want a beam that comes with a Kaidan, what colour should he have do you think, i've always liked him in blue.

In my head Diana Allers was the first one jettisoned out of the Airlock as they were running.. you know to gain some extra speed to get away from the explosion...

I think pretty much like he reacted to Liara in ME1 f he thought there was something going on early in the game, directly ask about it and accept Shep's answer as the truth. He's already promised never to doubt her again, plus he'd surely understand after Vega being her guard for all the months she was in lockdown that they'd have formed a bond there. After all, she was locked up for her own safety, and James was specifically assigned for her protection.
