About Ken and Gabby, apparently you can help them get together or something? Was this cut out on our Kaidan games because of that weird glitch or is this still possible? I never got the option to talk to them so I didn't even know that they could romance each other.

Apparently, there was a programming error noticed just recently that ties Ken and Gabby's subplot with Ashley's romance. So in order to have them get together, you have to romance Ashley. Meaning that no one who saved Kaidan and no FemSheps can unlock this...

Question: Is there anyway to bring Kaidan with you on the Grissom Academy mission? Because I think he'd have a lot to say about the kind of training and educations human biotics are getting now after his experience with BAaT.

No, the mission fails upon starting Priority: Citadel 2, unfortunately.

I'm pretty sure not, because it's on a timer... if you don't go.. i think the kids and Jack end up being recruited by Cerberus. it would have been great if he could go though.

I can confirm this too.  On my second playthrough the other night, I went on to the Citadel, triggered the coup, and when I got back to the ship Traynor was all "Grissom Academy has been destroyed by the Reapers - but don't feel bad, Commander, you've got a lot on your plate!"

I grumbled and then went back to an earlier save and did it before going to the Citadel.

Well damn.  That would've been such a nice addition to the game.  I really wanted him to meet Kahlee.  I think they would've been good friends - like my FemShep and Anderson.

I'm pondering posting on the review thread or starting a thread asking if Bioware could/would put some of the dialog back as DLC over time... probably won't work...but since they keep saying their listening...it couldn't hurt. There's just so much great stuff they cut and I (and I know others) were so looking forward to witnessing it in game. And some of it at least is already done being animated etc...

Yeah, it sucks that you can't take him with you. I wanted to bring him, too. Thank goodness I saw on this forum that you have to do Grissom Academy before the coup. Otherwise I would've waited until after I got Kaidan to do it, and it would've been too late.

Aside from sharing his experiences, I also would've loved to see his reaction to Jack punching Shepard. I loved that scene.

It's worth a try. No doubt they'll start working on additional feedback regarding things like that once they sort out the ****ty endings (if they even bother.)

can say without a doubt that there is no way, i reloaded 3 times  from an earler save and  avoided even getting the mission  till right before  coup to after the coup to try to take kaidan along and once you do the coup mission grissiom acadamy is no longer even an option even if you dont talk to trayner to get the mission till right before  coup or if you try to waite till right after, grisiom acadamy is not mentioned at all after that.   Wich is really ashame since as a biotic Kaidan would have alot more to say than any other squad mate especally with his history.

I thought BioWare would do 3 endings: one bad, one mostly good, and a good ending (where Shep/LI are alive, and Relays aren't destroyed), and really, I care so much about my Shepard that even if I had to do 10 playthroughs with her to get that ending I would do it. IMO, it would be the most obvious thing BW could do, and one that would probably satisfy more fans than what we got.

Sorry, late replying to this, but I agree. I think that's the biggest issue for most people (besides it not making sense), is the complete and utter lack of choice in the ending. It's ending, singular, because there IS only one railroaded ending.

On the positive side, with the indoctrination theory adopted as my head canon, I finished my second playthrough last night, and it wasn't even painful, since (in my head) my Shepard got up after the bad dream/indoctrination attempt to finish the real fight.

And Kaidan's goodbye is just wonderful. :wub:

Maybe they can roll this into the forthcoming DLC as well.  You know at least a convo.

Kaidan: Hey, Shepard, I heard you were the one who rescued all the kids from Grissom Academy
Shepard: You know, it looked like one hell of a school, even with all the holes Cerberus shot in it.
Kaidan: From everything I've heard it's light years ahead of Jump Zero
Shepard: I'm sorry, Kaidan.  Humanity wasn't ready to start training biotic children when you were growing up.
Kaidan: I just try to remember that everything I went through made places like Grissom Academy possible.
Shepard: Now they can just break curfew to sneak into each other rooms, instead of breaking Turian necks.

Thanks! I've set ME3 aside now that I've finished my second playthrough and got the "good" ending (heh). I would like to roll my renegade through, but with the buggered face import, I'm just going to wait and see what BioWare is going to do to sort things out.

I'm thinking about working on another DA:O playthrough in the meantime. You can never really have too much Alistair.

I've got a quick question for you guys. So, my canon Adrienne has been imported from ME1, through ME2, and finally ME3. I'm thinking of doing a full playthrough with her again (I have her at level 59 in ME1, and I'm so anxious to get her to 60). Will I be able to import a character that I've already imported? Like, if I go back to ME1 and start a third playthrough with her, will I be able to import her to ME2 and then ME3 even though I've already gone through those games with her?

@ Bekkael The indocrination theory really helped me to get to the acceptance stage of my post ME3 depression. Now when I think that Shep made her last stand against indocrination I even think the scene was beautiful, and I'm just waiting for BioWare to let me wake up from the hallucination and give me a proper ending, as the theory only provides a good explanation to all that nonsense, not the ending itself.  But, even if they don't, there's always head canon!

So I was looking for Conrad because he has some hilarious banter and I finally found a video. I know where he is now. The part about if he has a wife is really funny and he better not have a shrine to Shep is gold!!

I also found Liara's father near Apollo caffee but it's bugged and has Shep refer to Liara as his/her girlfriend so I reloaded that real quickly and didn't talk to her. I don't want to accidenly fire a romance flag.

Also does anyone know of any fanfic where Shep is in the Normandy leaving earth but is actually injuried. That is kinda my head cannon anyway. They needed to keep the Normandy scene out of the damn game. It's the biggest loop hole if there is any. I would be a little unhappy that Joker just left without me unless he thought I was already dead.

Gamefaqs has a poll of the day asking if ending should be changed. Yes is up by 3000you votes but earlier we were losing! I really want my better hopefully happy ending with Kaidan! We have always donethe great with polls especially when Kaidan is involved. He's not directly involved in this but think about him when you vote http://m.gamefaqs.com/

It doesn't fire any flags, Aethyta just calls you her girlfriend but it's Aethyta and she's...well HER...lol. I call my friends my girlfriends too so I didn't think much of it. They really have some great banters.

That's actually an interesting thought. Considering Shep dies in all but one really hard to get ending, it probably does mean they assume she's dead. And in the "take a breath" ending...well that just sucks.

But dammit Cortez was a kickass shuttle pilot, and if you go through his story arc, and deal with his grief, he supposedly doesn't die at the early part of earth. So, HE at least gives reason as to how the crew got out. No doubt he could have grabbed Kaidan and Garrus (my final team) after the beam stopped firing (because it DID stop) and got them to the ship. Even if he had to steal a shuttle to do it, and we know he's good at acquisitions too:D

So THAT is how they get to the ship in MY head. They assume Shep's dead, and Cortez forces them to leave, and not make HER an anchor, because she'd want them to go on just as his husband did HIM.

Dammit top AGAIN, that's twice today!
