The thing with the charity is bull****. Whoever gave the bad press just stopped thousands of dollars from getting to those childrens. And for what? The sake of Bioware's 'artistic integrity'? Give me a break. God, I hate how the world works that ****s like this can prosper and when good people manage to do something great, then the ****s come and ruin it again. Just pisses me off to no end.

I understand "gathering feedback" as also reading the forums.  But that might not necessarily be a good thing.  I get the feeling that they will have made a decision by the time PAX rolls around anyway.

I suspect they had alt ending DLC planned before game was released anyways...but thats just me with my tin foil conspiracy hat on 

this is the first and only game that has ever broken my brain....

Strange, I always thought it was your love interest along with one of your final squadmembers that walk out of the Normandy.

I don't know, I picke Synthesis my first time, and got EDI, Joker, and Kaidan. I talked to Garrus most and he was on my final team.

EDI always comes out on Synthesis, to indicate robotic life or whatnot I suppose.


PAX is this weekend already? I thought it was the 6th?
And it would be insanely awesome if BW had something planned from the get-go, I actually thought that for the first few days after I beat the game. But nothing they've said since has indicated otherwise, aside from some trolling Tweets. 

I'm still left wondering what the heck happened... 
Sorry, cynical me comes out during the daytime. Optimist me comes out in the evening.

knew there would be some backlash from this but causing this to happen is just totally sad... how can donating to a childrens charity ever be a bad thing..

It's not like this was a drive to support the KKK. This was a drive in relation to changing a video game ending. Really, can people be more selfish. It's bad enough that I heard people were whining about the charity being used for the wrong reasons but to hear they got hate mail about it? 

I didn't realize they put a red stamp on the money that says where it came from *rolls eyes*

And PAX is April 6th.

You know what? From now on, I'm just going to listen to Alistair's advice. He always has the right solutions when you're feeling kinda down.

Kaidan makes a comment about losing Jenkins to the geth drone and something about Saren.  But since you are forced to take Liara to Priority: Eden Prime and its for the Prothean she gets most of the dialogue.

It's not much, just a mention on the shuttle about Kaidan being the only one from the beginning, and Jenkins dying. It's a nice little moment.

I was curious about this too....I picked destroy and Joker, Kaidan and Javik (of all people) come out of the Normandy.  I took Kaidan and Liara with me to last mission so I'm totally confused.

Really?  I thought it was going on into April.  What happened.  And also *hugs* 
I will not be completing my second playthrough.  Just abandoning it in  London to make up my own ending.

The founder of the Chipin page was contacted by Child's Play and respectfully requested to wrap things up.  Unofficially, Child's Play was getting a lot of hate mail/bad PR from gamer press.

Seriously?! They said, "Stop donating your money because people are sending us hatemail"? That's insanely stupid, for lack of a better description.

Well it's certainly a sad thing.  But to be fair, we're donating money but with the price tag of a big ol'e sh*t storm attached.  Some of the gaming press has been absolutely ruthless about the charity.  I can understand them wanting to part ways before things get any worse. Ray's little statement I think was the tipping point.

Seriously?! And the gaming press have the audacity to tell us that we're the bad guys, when they sit there and attack a ****ing childrens charity.

That's ****ing disgraceful.

It happens. There are certain public figures who get asked not to publically associate themselves with charities all the time because of the negative stiff that happens when people find out that they donate to those charities. In other words, other people will punish the charity for taking money from a source with which they disagree.

The shuttle is really where he has the most dialogue, he and Shep just talk about the people they've lost (Jenkins, Nihlus, etc). You get the option to say, "There aren't many people who've had my back since the beginning, I'm glad you're here," to which Kaidan has some sort of dialogue bug where his mouth moves, but all you here is some sort of cough/sneeze/inhale thing, then he says, "I wasn't going to miss this one."

All other dialogue is pretty generic, he jokes about Liara digging up dinosaurs (but all the characters do this, just with minor script changes). He also talks about how the colonists all moved back to Eden Prime, where Shepard will make a reference to her/his past (for my Spacer, she mentioned that they always moved from ship to ship, losing one was typical). Nothing really after that.

Well, the Project Runway finale will make me feel better. I have three choices for a winner and all of them have more difference than just whether or not their models wore red, blue or green. I'm sort of torn between whether or not I want Mondo or Michael to win.

After that, I need to go run some multiplayer, and then I have to go try to kill Kai effing Leng again. I wish Kaidan could just take him out for me. I am beginning to suspect that playing through as a Vanguard the first time has put me as a disadvantage because vanguards put down Leng easy. It's a lot harder fight with my Adept.

Eek you made me worried there - PAX is in two weeks, not this weekend (thank goodness!) - I have a ticket for the Friday, if any Kaidanites are heading that way I'll be around if you want to meet up!

I'm having an awkward moment! I have the date with Kaidan email, but EVERYONE is in the living room with me! So I'm thinking I'll go get Tali first, Or something. I don't know what to do. Maybe I'll work on my ME1 playthrough some more.

Ugh, I hate it when that happens. I always wait until late in the night to play through romances in BW games, because you never know who might suddenly barge in or call.

On that matter, even if you think it's cute, setting your laptop desktop background to Kaidan and Shep during the romance scene just leads for VERY awkward moments when you agree to let your history professor use your laptop in class to show something on the projector. Bad time to forget what your background is...
