I'm currently conflicted regarding my signature; I HAVE to have ME:C in there, so slot #1 is taken
but for the second, I really want hoodie huggles ... but I also want to make one for the twitter thing ... and of course I'd like to add one to support Mark Meer

can we get Mark to support the Shenko Tweets and hoodie huggles ... that might solve my problem

So last night I watched all the romance options for ME2 on youtube since I have yet to play through as mshep. And then I just watched all of em heh. And i'm a little irked! The Jacob and Miranda scenes are awesome. Hot and steamy (and a little cheesy but that's regardless). And all I got was my femshep longingly looking at a picture. I feel cheated. They could have maybe had some flash back scene before ilos or something!

They better have extra steamyness for us faithful. Like if you were faithful you get and extra steamy scene between kaidan (or ashley). I will be rightly upset if I don't get extra umph for it. I feel cheated out of hot-smexy-romanceness. I better get lots in ME3.

Ahh, I'm kinda glad we have to wait for more Kaidan romance. The ones in ME2 were (IMO) really veering towards cheesey sometimes or forced or just...snuggling. But still, Bioware have got it in 'em to finish it up nicely. <3

Yeah I thought the ME2 scenes seemed more just sex and no love. Or like you said, cheesy.
But maybe that's because I only watched them and didn't play them. I love Kaidan too much.

I really liked how romantic the scene was in ME and hope it's like that again in ME3.

I wish they would have run into each others arms on Horizon. Femshep lets loose and jumps into Kaidan's arms, legs up and all, and they bear hug.
...But too cheesy maybe?

I think the relationship between Kaidan and Shep is already cemented in a way that means it would be veeery hard to make it cheesy or have me cringe at it. It can be a really sweet reunion without it being forced or added in at the last moment, especially with the extended release date. Good things to those who wait?

Not specifically related to any recent post, but I just had to say this: this may be an unpopular opinion, but I just have to say it: I don't blame Kaidan for his reaction to Shepard suddenly turning up on Horizon at all.

In fact, I have to admit, it really annoys me when people get too butthurt about him backing away from their Shepards to be rational and try to understand where he's coming from. This is one of the many reasons why I can't really read ME fanfic anymore...because so much of it is "KAIDAN WAS SO MEAN ON HORIZON MY SHEPARD CAN DO NO WRONG OMG". When Kaidan had every reason to be distrustful. I wouldn't love Kaidan the character nearly as much if he'd just been like "oh lol even though you "died" two years ago and never got in touch with me and now you're clearly working with Cerberus, the evil organization that was responsible for all sorts of monstrous acts in the first game, but! because we had sex, I will absolutely forgive you immediately for all of that, in fact, let's have sex right now."

I completely agree with you. Kaidan being happy to see Shep was evidenced by the quick hug before the realisation of Shep working with Cerebus. If he went "Yaaaay, let's forget the past two hellish years and go for a snuggle" I would have been lobbing my controller at my TV. In was befitting for Kaidan/Ashley to react how they did, there's a lot of conflicting reasons for their behavior: loyalty because of family to the Alliance, confusion over the past two years, hurt if they thought Shep faked their death and disappointment over the whole Cerebus thing.

It's not like it's something that happens everyday, being brought back by a terrorist organisation (especially if Shep's  a Sole Survivor like mine).

Most of us do feel that he was definitely in the right about Horizon. I don't blame him even though he made me feel sad/upset because of course, he's right and what the hell am I doing I'M GOING TO HIT TIM IN THE FACE (and eat some chocolate pastries and hit TIM some more)
