YES!! And you're right he does sound sad, and even shocked by what he's hearing. I think he realizes at that point, Shepard herself has been questioning WHO and WHAT she is all this time herself, having been rebuilt by one of her fiercest enemies.

What really does it, is that on Mars (or was it Horizon?) he asks how would he know if she were really HER, and not some Cerberus drone programmed to THINK she was her. When she questions it herself at the base then, we finally get a complete resolution with Kaidan. "You're real enough for me."

To me, that moment, is when things are once and for all patched up.

Yep, I worked it out, if I'm able to send 5 fleets on three missions each a day, at around 1125 credits a go, it'll be about a month til I get that. In the meantime, they're doing a great job of keeping me at 100% while I skip multiplayer for a while to go through a sp playthrough. MP gets you to 100% more quickly, datapad is useful to keep you there.

Yes, totally! I loved how after Horizon and all his doubts in regards to how Shepard had been brought back and how Cerberus was involved... He went to offer that reassurance. Really just cemented to me how far they'd come, it was great.

My thoughts exactly. Yes, it's on Mars where he questions what she is. It hurt so much to hear him say that. My Shepard couldn't help but go Renegade on him on Mars...at this point, she's just so tired of explaining herself, and she thought that Kaidan, of all people, would know her better than that - something she mentions in the first Mars conversation.

Anyway, I'm glad this was included in the game. I think they both needed that closure. Shepard got to see what it was like on TIM's end, and Kaidan finally understands what happened to her. I also like how Shepard doubts herself here, and it feels so good to have Kaidan reassuring her. "You're real enough for me", indeed.

I remember reading the Shepard/Ashley version in the leaked script (at the time, I didn't know Ash/Kai actually got to see video of Project Lazarus), and Shepard had a really good line about living and dying that he says to Ash. However, I'm looking on YouTube, and he doesn't say anything like that at all. Does anyone remember that line in the leaked script? I'd really like my Shepard to use it on Kaidan in the fic I'm planning.

Yes!  I thought that scene was so touching.  "You're real enough for me."  ~sniff~

Yes. I was so freaking happy they put that in. It's like they read all the LI fanfiction we have up and realized fans wanted closure on that. At least they delivered it on that front. And I love how Shepard was revealed to be totally in denial about the whole being dead thing. It really helps with the derpiness on Horizon.

@Soccerchic I'm glad I got a laugh outta you.  It's the only way I can justify that whole scene to myself.

Edit: The thing I also liked about the video was that it proves once and for all the Cerberus was putting up a front for Shep. It's the reason so many people who didn't play ME1 liked Cerberus and couldn't understand why anybody would be angry at Shepard for joining up with them. Heck I shut down half of their operations myself and still caught myself going "You know maybe they aren't so bad" until Horizon, where Kaidan made me realize what kind of crowd I'd fallen into. It was a strange moment of realization.

Reading about the witcher 2, apparently end cinematic (new for 360 version) has like 12 variations depending on player choice. This is what ME3 needed really. We should get CDProjekt to make us some awesome endings to ME3

And on topic I really should avoid googleing Kaidan on images.. Wow lol

There's a lot of ME1 which just makes me want to play that again. Will try and get through my current playthrough of ME3 first. Does anyone know if it's possible to mod Kaidan so you can get S/S romance in ME1 on the 360? Feel like playing ME1 2 and 3... hopefully by the time I get to end of the 3 the new updated endings will be out. Finger crossed lol

witcher 2's ending is supposed to be really good. im getting it on xbox when it comes out in april. cant wait. tried playing the 1st one on pc but couldnt get used to playing it on a laptop, much prefer a controller

i didnt recruit javik until i got kaidan back and i had kaidan and garrus come out of the normandy. i took kaidan everywhere and garrus on most mission. took both kaidan and garrus to earth with me so i was really funny when they both came out of the normandy without a scratch on. way to go bioware

This might be weird, but... (and you know it's strange when someone prefaces with that)

Because my Shepard (at least in my headcanon) doesn't tend to talk much about her problems to anyone, she tends to do little things that mean quite a bit to her but other people might not notice. Like her armor in ME2:



She wears white for Ashley, red's her favourite colour, and blue for Kaidan. I'm actually really happy with how the armor looks, too.

Well in my head canon there where many, mainly a comfort scene that took plase after Theasa(sp) and for once that head canon does not lead to any "Bed action"

I am currently working towards that on the iPad app, it is going to take forever, in the two days since I got there, I'm up to 34,580.  The fact that the missions take 5 hours isn't helping any /sigh

im about to start my alternative save where i cheated on kaidan with garrus in 2. its going to be hard to resist kaidan but my canon has already experienced the wonderfulness of kaidan. in the hospital scene where kaidan is awake for the first time, he will mention about garrus. if i lie to him can i still continue with garrus? and if i tell him the truth can i still continue with garrus? just wondering when the last moment is where i can gently let kaidan down and i wont miss out on garrus.

Every 5 hours is annoying but I don't think it wouldn't be so bad if the app had notifications... I forget a lot of the time at most I remember about twice a day. It seems stupid that there isn't notifications for it.

Not so much War Assets I think, just upping your readiness.  I am slowly playing through a second time, though I haven't looked at my war asssets to see if they have upped or not.  Though I know readiness is reflected.
