Not so much War Assets I think, just upping your readiness.  I am slowly playing through a second time, though I haven't looked at my war asssets to see if they have upped or not.  Though I know readiness is reflected.

Well, no, I like it, it's just that I hate playing with randoms, but whenever I'm on and feel like MP none of my XBL or BSN buddies are online. And I'm too shy to just throw someone a message asking if they want to play.
That, and I'm pretty awful at MP, so I feel bad for my team whenever I try to play.

So I did this on my first playthrough and it was really hard to pass up all that Kaidan action (don't worry, my cannon loyal Shep is getting some now), so I kinda strung them both along for a while.  The easiest and I think nicest thing to do is be honest with Kaidan.  He seems to understands and says it's his fault for being a jerk on Horizon.  Then when you get to the dates on the citadel section, do Garrus's first and when you talk to Kaidan he says you're his best friend in the whole world and you don't have to dump him.  Of course, in my head, Kaidan saw the writing on the wall and decided not to compete with Garrus even though he's still crazy for Shepard.  If you talk to Kaidan first you have to tell him you just want to keep it professional, and that's no fun.

I tried really hard on one play through to cheat on Kaidan, I just couldn't do it. I am so stuck with him as a love interest across the board. /sigh I'm a sucker.

FFXIII-2 seems a lot bigger than 13, it definitely has a lot of side quests. its supposed to have a lot of different endings and paradoxs. havent had a chance to try it out yet though with me3 finished now, it should be my next game to play. i did play the demo and it was very pretty to and the battle system is very similar to 13, the areas were not linear that i played in the demo. i loved FFXIII, it was a great game, the battle system was a lot of fun and it was one of the prettiest games i have ever seen, that and skyrim.

I'm pretty terrible at MP too.  (I just want my Turian sentinel back, dangit!  Why is it so hard to unlock him?) So we can be terrible together.  I'm definitely going to try to play more MP this week.  And my husband's out of town again for work again most of next week, so he can't yell at me for staying up until 2 am on the xbox.  Sounds like a win for everyone.  I'll start tossing out more invites.

Right there with you Lady, I don't like playing with random people and am really shy about just asking if someone wants to play.  Though the little I have played of multiplayer I have enjoyed.  Which was really surprising, because I don't normally like multiplayer.  Go figure.  Oh and I am not good at it either.

thanks for the info. might do garrus' date first so i dont have to turn down kaidan  i think the easiest way for me not to choose kaidan is to make my alternative shep very different to my canon, so im going to make her a b**ch. in my head dying changed her from paragon to being a renegede b**ch so now she is not the woman kaidan fell in love with.
kaidan is the only one for my canon and she enjoyed him very much . my canon is a much nicer person
just did the earth mission at the start of the game, the music at the end where you leave anderson is amazing. its a very good start to the game, shame they couldnt end it the same

I know, I know, that essay thing was my fault for forgetting <_< And I think it turned out okay, until my prof. told us the next morning that he was either going to grade our essays or our final exams. Thanks for telling me then, dude. I could've helped save a galaxy last night, but nooooooo.

MP is a bit of a revelation for me - I usually play adepts and, occasionally, vanguards.  I've learnt I'm pretty effective as an Infiltrator ('effective' is a relative term here) and can even play as an engineer without disgracing myself.  Still, I'm usually 3rd or 4th on the list when we finish.  I get so proud of myself when I get second on the list.  Even so, I don't think I'd ever get the 75 kills some of my squadmates get.

Wow, just got into a heated debate about the Retakemasseffect group with one of my "friends." I was fed up of him bashing the movement one minute, then suddenly siding on it based on what his favorite games critics were saying.

I'm amazed at how passionate I feel about this game. Someone post up a Kaidan picture to cheer me up... (any excuse to perv LOL,)

 I have a request and a question 

Request:
If you guys aren't happy with the ending, DON'T play the multiplayer challenge this weekend.  And play off line.  Show BW dropping numbers to not just hear that we are upset but to see that we are upset.

If you did, man.  I envy you so much.  I know that it's just a game.  But I've invested so much emotional tie to this game, to femShep and to Kaidan that I can't accept this ending.

Question about the Kaidan romance

if you aren't faithful, admit to it and visit him multiple times in the hospital, when do you get the romance flag triggered?
Kitty romanced Jacob.  She was a little harsh at the beginning of the game, but from the time Kaidan was in the hospital did all the paragons with him.  She visited him several times, brough him a present.  She apologized for her infidelity.  He said he loved only her.
But both times when I pick him up in Act 2 he gives me the "friends/coworker" line and I don't get the butt shot.  One time I finished the Jacob missions, so that romance was ended and when I got the lunch on the Citadel I got the friendship version without any ability to rekindle the romance.

Any ideas of when the romance is triggered if the other LI was Jacob.  Do romances with Garrus or Thane get the friendship line when picking up Kaidan ?

I saw him.  Getting off of the Normandy.  Even if he was still in London I could accept the ending.
