Look, if Bioware messes this up, I'm done and it's their fault for not listening. There is no amount of clarity that could fix those horrid endings. But I'm going to give them one more shot to fix this and wait for more information in April.

Right there with you Lady, I don't like playing with random people and am really shy about just asking if someone wants to play. Though the little I have played of multiplayer I have enjoyed. Which was really surprising, because I don't normally like multiplayer. Go figure. Oh and I am not good at it either.leborum wrote..

Well, no, I like it, it's just that I hate playing with randoms, but whenever I'm on and feel like MP none of my XBL or BSN buddies are online. And I'm too shy to just throw someone a message asking if they want to play.
That, and I'm pretty awful at MP, so I feel bad for my team whenever I try to play.
I'm pretty terrible at MP too. (I just want my Turian sentinel back, dangit! Why is it so hard to unlock him?) So we can be terrible together. I'm definitely going to try to play more MP this week. And my husband's out of town again for work again most of next week, so he can't yell at me for staying up until 2 am on the xbox. Sounds like a win for everyone. I'll start tossing out more invites.
I'm DreadedChemGal on XBL and I promise we'll be nice

Yes, I hope so. Wasn't IGN their staunchest supporter? Regarding the ending, that is.

There was a second opinion review released today and it had like 6 different reviewers with blurbs of their reviews. They all didnt care for the ending. Colin Moriarty is just a d*ck who taunts fans.

Thanks
more fanficsi read your fanfic around 'call me' by shinedown. that songs fits very well. god i love that band. 'if you only knew' is very appropriate for shenko aswell. your fanfic 'reunion' was very sweet
have some kaidan

Thank you very much, I am not one normally for song fics, but that song just kept talking to me everytime I heard it. I agree that 'If you only knew' would be a good one too, however, at the moment don't have the mindset to write anything around it.
Thank you for the comment on Reunion as well. I am stuck at the moment, but I think I'll get the new one up tonight or tomorrow.
More Kaidan is always appreciated

Look, Mass Effect: I don't NEED you to clarify sh!t for me. I'm not a moron. The ending sucked. It doesn't fit the rest of the game or the previous two and it contradicts everything we had learned about the reapers up until that point. What I NEED is an end that fits with the rest of the ME universe. Thanks!

It's quite insulting really, it's like they're suggesting we lack the intellect to appreciate their "vision" so they have to "clarify" things for us intellectually challenged folk.
... There's no getting around it though, you can't polish a turd. They can wrap it up in bows and throw glitter all over it but at the end of the day a piece of **** is still a piece of ****.

And if the end just happens to include Shepard, Kaidan, some whipped cream, and a bowl of strawberries, that's just fine with me too.

You'll note that Ray's statement said two things, and only two things: clarity and closure.
This is going to be the message until April. And until April, we're not going to know what they're actually doing or what they're really planning.
It sucks, but I'd suggest just switching off Twitter or filtering out these noncommittal replies.

LOL. You know, I'm not even sure what they could clarify. I mean, you could try to throw explanations at us about where the Reapers and the Catalyst originated. Maybe even come up with some reason why the Normandy crew up and left (like they were ordered to), even though they would never leave Shepard behind even if Shepard him/herself said so. Would they try to explain to us what happens after the mass relays explode? Because people have come up with the same conclusions regarding that, and they are very bleak conclusions.
I don't want any "clarification" because it won't fill in those massive plotholes and out of character behaviour.

I'm also smart enough to see their message as PR. It doesn't change the fact that they speak to us in a condescending manner as if we're too stupid to get their "artistic vision."
I actually have a twitter account. I have tweeted 3 times. And none of them were to ME. I rarely read it anymore as most of the tweets that I follow are just bashing of people who are too stupid to understand BioWares ending to ME.
Also, I have to go with leborum on this: bring on the whipped topping and Kaidan!

If they're not careful, they'll find hell down there. Of course, by then they'll also realize that not many people are spending any more money on them anymore.
They really need to realize that with the endings as they stand, there just isn't much reason for anyone to be enthused about ME at all, past, present, future because they destroyed the universe everyone loved.
Sure I could play in a past ME, but if they go too far back, there are no humans because we're too primitive to go out into the galaxy. I'm not really interested in playing in an MMO set during the Prothean cycle for example. A.) I know that ends badly and B.) I know that there's no hope for the future either. Sure, they could do a First Contact war game, but A.) any characters from that are likely still alive to witness THE END of ME3 and B.) Why bother? The universe you're fighting in is going to come to a bad end anyhow? And, they can go way into the future to do something set about 50,000 years after this cycle, but A.) how do we know Shep won and the Reapers don't come back? B.) if the do, how do we know BioWare won't just pull the rug out from under us again? C.) Even without the first two, anything they create will perforce be drastically different than anything ME was prior to this game and it won't really be ME ... So, why bother?
I mean, they really just shot themselves in the foot.
As for DLC, yeah, I can buy more stuff to prolong the inevitable endings, but again, why? I already feel like I spent $80 to be massively disappointed and upset. Why would I want to spend more money on the massive, steaming pile of poo they've already delivered me? No matter how fun the gameplay is, if the game itself leads to an ultimately unsatisfying conclusion, I lose interest, so there's just no point. This was ME2's problem and the reason I never bought Kasumi.
This thing with the ending being final and well final is also why I never bought any DA2 DLC, too. I just never was interested in prolonging my Hawkes. They were done. If they had done ME3 correctly, I'd be feeling about it the same way I did for DA:O - Wanting to play again to explore another ending possibility and waiting eagerly for DLCs like Warden's Keep to add to my game to make it longer before the end. And quite happy with each ending I play to because I feel like each of my Shepards gets an ending that delivers a final but appropriate end to her story whether she lives or dies, saves the galaxy or not, salvages relationse between various factions, saves the synthetic races, even retires happily to a quite and little-known world with her LI to live as a quiet recluse for the rest of their natural lives ... or some combinations of all of those.
But no, I get herded into a killing chute and slaughtered by BioWare's so-called artistic whim.
