So as I was playing my game last night I had two scenes where my femshep fell down 2 x. On the geth dreadnought while trying to escape and during the attican traverse scene with Grunt. Then I started to think of how many more times Shep has fallen down. It is A LOT! She also fell on recruit mission to find the primarch and then during the Tuchanka mission on the way to the big repear/threasher maw fight. I wonder if the devs kept track of how many times Shepard was falling down. I'm sure I've missed some more times they have Shep falling down all over the place.

The ending screwed up my vague idea of eventual "Shenko family"...

So my very non-gamer sister came over for lunch and she asked me, "So what's up with this one game that has a really bad ending?"  When I told her she said, "Oh, I didn't think you would be one of those people bothered by a game ending so much."

Alas we are not as feeble minded as BioWaare'd like us to be. 

But I reject their reality and substitute it with kaidanbabies as soon as my birthday rolls in and i get that drawing tablet I've been drooling over. Then it'll be babies ever after.

Noted and heartily agreed with.

Seeing the ending for the first time sent me into a deep state of depression and totally trashed my weekend. It was days until I returned to some semblance of normalcy. Now I just dismiss the last 10 minutes as a dream. If I was really upset I could say that the entire game was a dream and Shepard is still knocked out after the reapers descended on Earth in the Prologue.

i read earlier in this thread something about a gabby and ken quest. what is this? i had them on my ship but i didnt even talk to my shep, only said the generic lines of 'everythings good here commander'. stupid auto dialogue.

The only thing I know about is getting them on board the Normandy by approving their request at the Spectre terminal in the Citadel Embassy area.


There's a quest to get the Engineering department a piece of equipment to help with the venting issue but that just entails buying it on the Citadel.


Was there something else?

i just found it on the mass effect wikia page. apparently you can engage them in banter and get them together romantically, but it is bugged and only happens if you are good friends with ashley. thats never happening in any of my games as she will always be dead as my shep needs her kaidan.
hopefully they debug it

That would make sense. I'm sure there's a lot of content I'm missing by constantly choosing Kaidan over Ashley but I'm sure I'll get over it.

I'm pretty sure one of the devs said it was likely unfixable, was mentioned a little while back in the thread so I'm pretty sure you can only see it if Ash is alive.

Does anyone have any pictures of Kaidan with helmets on for each outfit? I actually don't mind helmets I think they make sense. But I wish the game had the same toddle as ME1, yeah I'm happy they gave us more options now.
Although it goes to one extreme to the other. I turn squadmate helmets on and Liara starts wearing that stupid breather mask everywhere and in the one outfit I tried for Kaidan he was wearing a breather-mask helmet, I want him in a normal N7 Helmet, where you can still see his bloody face and not just two eyes.

Since you can't get that with Kaidan alive, I feel less bad about the entire crew (except Chakwas) being turned into Reaper goo on my screwed-up Shepard. At least she won't be missing out on any possible content....provided I ever actually play ME3 again. :innocent:

I've been replaying DA:O and DA2. I forgot how much I enjoyed both games. I'm playing a Dalish elf so I can try to romance Zevran with her. I've never been able to resist Alistair, but I should be able to with her, since I'm basically roleplaying her as a human hater. We'll see how that goes.

can you only marry alistair if you are a human noble. when i played it ages ago as an elf, i didnt get to marry him even though he wanted me  but in the dlc he was very loving towards me

So finally finished my first playthrough of the game and even though I knew all about the endings, I don't know... just feeling a bit sad and lost at the moment, like I don't know what to do with myself. Was such a great game though I am wanting to play it again with my male renegade Shep, no Kaidan in his world though so not sure how far I'd get.

In the mean time I'll just cheer myself up by going through my many screenshots, most of which have a Kaidan in them

Shepard doesn't like seeing Kaidan going to the hospital.

Liara thinks 'that's a terrible burden'.

...Vega looks like he should take his shirt off and entertain Shep by doing pull-ups while Kaidan's in the hospital. You know, to keep her warm!
