Agreed.  As for the Asari not sharing, they're following the Golden Rule = He who has the gold makes the rules.

And now it brings up something else that doesn't make sense.  Saren got the Cipher from the Thorian, and it was needed to understand the Beacon.  If they had a Beacon on Thessia, how would they understand anything from it.  Or, why would Saren need it from the Thorian anyway, why not get it from an Asari.  Surely Benezia has that kind of pull.  Yeah, it's nitpicky.  Is there a doc out there with a list of the inconsistencies, retcons, and lore errors in ME3?

This really can't be quoted enough, excellent job!

I'm honestly finding all the fan fic and art portraying people's headcanon about the endings very uplifting.  I was so depressed about the endings that I uninstalled the game a few weeks ago, but I reinstalled it tonight, because I figure the good parts are worth viewing firsthand.

Plus, it would be a shame if I never did Kaidan's romance scene with my own Shepard.  I've put her through so much, I figure she deserves at least that much.

I am seriously cracking up... the Jacob fan thread has 80 pages, while our support thread is the biggest one on the forums! I feel pretty bad for Jacob, I actually liked him in ME2.

Well, after what Bioware did to him in ME3, I highly doubt I'll ever romance him.

Well, this is going straight into the head-canon. When I sat down to write my own ending I was drawing a blank on the actual escape from the Citadel part, but now I'm convinced that this is what must have happened. Thanks, you just made my day .

Still writing my canon ending. Trying to fix plotholes isnt fun, I may just do a Bioware and write what I want and go Space Magic! *evil laugh*

I'm very disappointed. Three endings, same conclusion: destruction of galactic civilization.

This thread ^ makes me sick. I don't care if it's fake. The fact that people think it's perfectly reasonable that Kaidan/Ashley would commit suicide, especially with Shepard still around is so disgusting. It's even worse than thought of them being cowards and running at the last minute.

As someone who deals with depression and has dealt with suicidal thoughts, you have no idea how angry it makes me to see something like this. Kaidan does the exact opposite of someone who has suicidal tendencies. He always talks to Shepard about his issues and feelings even if it seems "unmanly".

I'm 99% sure it's a troll but just the thought that someone wrote that makes me see red. Suicide is not a ****ing plot device for you to garner emotion and shoehorn into a completely emotionally stable character. Just **** them.

Well that's an amazing series of responses, thank you!

The few comic pages was really my way of dealing with the whole ending debacle, get some feeling of proper closure and hope with it rather than have it all end on a sour note; if it's helped others towards the same, that's fantastic - I'm really happy to hear that!

Personally, I just figured that since I hadn't minded the ending up until Anderson dies (the expanded dialogue from that is just so lovely yet sad), my own approach was "Well, the Crucible just randomly murdered all the Reapers when it activated and then Cortez came by with his shuttle with Kaidan and Garrus onboard to pick up a battered and unconscious Shepard and then off to the Normandy!". It neatly avoids answering just how exactly the Crucible had Reaper-slaying powers or how they worked, but I'll admit I wasn't nearly as interested in that as I was in character moments.

I'm pretty sure its fake, every other PC has marriage under the info. What if Shep romanced Garrus/Tali. The whole list of new characters smells like BS to me, I wouldnt worry. Again like you, I sufferered with depression and my other half has been battling it for the last 5 years. So again dont worry, heck its form 4chan.

I would have believe the first half but Hanar/Elcor squadmates? *laughs*
