Testing.. I want to see if I finally got my signature to work!

I played some MP, but not enough to make a character a war asset and I was still able to get the scene where Shep breathes. I think the only one I haven't got it with was with a Shep I created in ME3, but my EMS wasn't as high.

What is the leak everyone is talking about?

I know  I really wanted to see some reactions, not just then but throughout the entire game. Like DA:O, I loved the little side conversations from people like Bann Teagan or Wynne (Wynne had the best banter!) regarding your romance. In my head, I make up a lot of little squad banters like that.

OMG the Wynne convo with Alistair!! Do you know where babbies come from? Had me in tears. Ahh the good old days. Hopefully DA3 won't crash and burn. Please, please, please!

So then you pretty much have to play MP to get breathing scene....that is just wrong. Kinda a middle finger to SP. Ops sorry I need to think happy thoughts.

How many times do you think Kaidan snuck into Shep's quarters? You know since she didn't have the heart to wake him and all in the morning.

It's in the Story section of the forum, titled "New Leak" or something like that. 60+ pages, you'll notice it. It's just more 4Chan BS if you ask me, though.

Maybe he just doesn't give a damn anymore. He almost died and he lost Shep once already. Might as well spend what time you have sexing it up:devil:

No, it's not possible. You can't get 8000 war assets in SP, no matter what choices you make. I believe the total is somewhere around 7,600 (3,500 EMS will save Earth). I barely managed 7,200 in SP, doing every sidequest, scanning every planet, importing throughout the three games, allying the Turians and Krogan and Quarians and Geth. 
If you meta game the entire trilogy, I think the total you can get is 7,600 assets. In order to do so, you need to keep the Collector Base, kill Wrex, lie to Wreav, destroy Mealon's data, kill Mordin, and a ton of other small decisions.

And yes, you do need at least 4,000 to get the breathing scene, no matter if you kept or destroyed the Collector Base.

Sounds like Paragons get shafted<_<.....oh well Kaidan's "ASSet" should make up for it:devil:

Actually, that's one of only two beneficial Renegade options. Everything else is pretty much equal regardless of Para/Rene or leans heavily towards Paragon choices. The Renegades really got the short end of the emergency induction port, but I figured as much would happen anyways.

So, on a slightly random note, I've been listening to my music a lot more since ME3 (helps to make me feel better) and I've found that the song Syndicate really goes with Shep and Kaidan's romance in ME3. Have you guys found any songs recently that really fit the relationship?

Many of the gaming websites are bloated with their own self-importance. I would much rather spend my time associating with and reading the opinions of ACTUAL GAMERS, rather than those who view gamers as idiots they must enlighten. <_< IGN can shove it.

This is why I stick to reading Forbes when it comes to ME3 news.

In regards to the leaks, I agree it's probably just BS.  One particular thing in there made me pretty angry though.

Anderson's death scene was so sad. I read the Mass Effect novels (except Deception; didn't have time). When I saw Kahlee Sanders in the game I was like can they now be together? ... nope. Still that scene was so touching. 

And the one part that gets me during Kaidan's goodbye scene is when he says 'Exactly' after Shepard admits being scared, but going to kill the Reapers anyway. The  acting is so good in this game.... Oh the feels.... 

This game made me cry... so much... So sad.

That does go well!  I haven't found anything in my collection that goes with their romance in ME3 yet, but I always thought "Blackout" by Linkin Park worked well from Kaidan's pov on Horizon.

That's what I love so much about the game, the acting is spectacular. I usually forget I'm playing a game. There were only 3 actors I can think of off the top of my head whose acting didn't move me emotionally.
But man, between Hale and Sbarge... Words can't even describe. There's only one other series I can think of that can rival ME for its acting and character emotions, IMO.

Listened to that song and really like it, never heard of them before either, bookmarked for future listening

Listening to alot of music myself too, alot of it seems to remind me of Kaidan and Shepard, but then I seem to be thinking of mass effect alot recently.

No End, No Beginning  "And this is one sacrifice I don't want to make but if theres no end there can be no beginning. If theres no end, feels like forsaking the dawn, we awaken and still we don't see, but I'm secretly grateful you're living this moment with me." Not Kaidan specific but Its by my favourite band, listened to this after I finished the game, trying to convince myself Shepard's sacrifice was worthwile.

Yeah, war changes people, I understand that more than most, but I doubt it would change him to the point that he only worries about Shepard half the time. Also, why wasn't there an "I love you" during the goodbye scene?

You mean the goodbye before the final assault ? He does say he loves Shepard. Well not litterally, but he says he's going to fight like hell to have the chance to hold Shepard again. And as she goes, Kaidan grabs her, kiss her and tells her he can't lose her again. I don't know, I thought that the way he kisses her in front of all the other soldiers - so openly breaking the "secrecy" of their fraternisation - was worthing it. He loves her, they maybe are going to die, and he doesn't give a **** abour regs anymore. Actually I found it even more romantic that if he had whispered a shy "I love you".

The only moment I wished he had made a comment is when Shepard tells Legion to stop their vehicle to let her fight the reaper on Rannoch - alone. And Kaidan is sitting just behind Legion, patiently waiting without saying anything. That really bothered me

I think he still cares, but they already have this convo in ME1. And the fact that in front of others, he calls her "ma'am" or "commander", and she "major" kinda mean they pretend not to be in a relationship no ?
Again, that's why I love the goddbye convo so much. That's my feeling anyway.

Yeah, I had said that I agree his actions speak louder than his words at that point.

In regards to Rannoch - I noticed that as well, there were a number of instances where he just kinda sits back and someone else (i.e. Liara on Thessia) helps you up or something.  I think it probably has to do with certain missions being character-centric.  Still, with him being your LI you would think they could have accounted for that in those situations but oh well.

OK, I'm a bit behind due to a nap.

On the soldier in the final run, I ran my video cap of the scene and I can fairly certainly say it's not Kaidan. It's random alliance solder 64641526... you know a red shirt On that note I did have 4300 ish EMS, and that took me about an hour of MP to get, and I did EVERYTHING in the game, I even went online looking for stuff to make sure, even restarted twice because I missed things. So no I don't think it's possible to get over the 4k EMS point without MP and/or the apps.

On the regs and Kaidan kissing Shepard in front of other soldiers. First off, I think they are discreet for the most part in their relationship. On a second point, Kaidan knows and so does Shepard that this might be the last time they see each other, so he decided to hell with it and kissed her.

Also they are both now SpecTRes so I can see it not being much of an issue.
