Well, second play through has reached London, and I just can't face playing to the end. Firstly, we know the endings stink, secondly that's my beloved London in sodding ruins, and third, I just killed one of Marauder Shields' many relatives, and the guilt is crippling me!

Over the weekend my dad decided to reminisce with me about his army days, and tell me tales of the several generations of my family who fought in (or against!) the British Army in several wars. About his uncle who, aged 18, flew a Spitfire in the Battle of Britain. The relatives we lost in the Royal Navy. I've heard it before, but it all went through my head again when the Fleet came through the Sol relay, and I think I need to lie down and eat some chocolate until this curious leaking effect in my eyes stops...  

On a cheerier note, those banners are great - the Hanar one made me spit my tea all over the monitor!

Just did a quick gif. Took about 5 minutes and it shows. Gonna sit down later tonight and see if I can't make a bigger one with better colors.

Game has gone into administration . i just heard from my boyfriend who works there that they are closing quite a lot of stores, they just closed the old store i used to work at . Thankfully the store he works at hasnt been closed, heres hoping it doesnt. i know a lot of people that work for Game and i really i hope something good happens to the company, though it needs a complete overhaul as the stupid 'suits' know nothing about games or which new releases will sell well. 
if they go, then the only real places other than independent stores to get games will be supermarkets and online (as much as i love amazon i do prefer buying games from Game). I hate you Tesco, stop trying to take over the whole f**king world.

yea.. I had heard about this.. lots of peeps in Australia were freaking out but somehow Game here hasnt been affected, maybe trading differently in here... sounds really bad though.. poor peeps.. but I guess online sales is slowly killing businesses like this everywhere...

administration could have been avoided as OpCapita made 2 bids to buy Game. but the ***holes over at RBS blocked both bids. WHY? OpCapita brought Comet and have turned that company around, Comet just made the best profits in the last few months than it has done for years. And now there are reports that RBS want to buy a stake in Game and 'save Game from collapse'. RBS are as contradictory as the stupid turian counselor.

EDIT: @ madlily: I just moved to Aussie from the US and so far I think the game price here is ridiculous, it's double compared to what I could have paid online, especially now that AUD$ > US$. I paid US$105 for my ME3 CE with priority shipping from Amazon... The price here for the CE = AUD$120!!!

My friend got his game from ozgameshop where the price is acceptable... I just don't understand this price inflation that the local game stores here want to maintain.

i just saw on the ign wiki page about the endings that if you have an ems of 0-1749 and pick either destroy or control then nobody on the normandy survives. does that mean the stupid ending cutscene where they all go to jurassic park island doesnt play?

I got that msg upon starting a new play through today, right at the very start of the game.. then upon having that short conversation with Kaidan whilst heading into the committee it twigged that perhaps he was going to try to come and see you before he had to give evidence at the hearing...seems logical, cause they've said it has nothing to do with end game and it seems to be the only place it fits.. well for me at least

edit - i hear you about game price.. not one game ive pre-ordered from eb games has been under 130 bucks, worth it all but considering our dollar is better then the US at the moment, it really makes no sense to me why we pay so much for them... saying that, alot of the big retailers here in Aus, like Harvey Norman etc.. are qq'ing about the fact that no one wants to buy in their stores anymore, when we can get things online for half the cost and get it delivered... cant understand why these retailers go into receivership *sarcastic comment intended* (wishes she had a roll eyes emoticon)

its really sad reading about the stores closing. i just read that the GAME in Yeovil just closed . when i lived in Dorset that was the only store to buy games from. thats really depressing.
