Yeah, I had a pretty strict talk with EDI yesterday morning about the proper methods of quoting on BSN. She didn't seem to care much, although the guy sitting behind me on the bus was quite curious as to why I was having a discussion with my iPhone.
Anyways, just got major fanfic inspiration and wrote down half of it already. Will finish tomorrow after Calculus, and maybe even upload for once

But, here goes. It harkens back to the discussion a little bit ago about Kaidan's reaction to Thessia and how unsatisfying it was if you were his LI. So I wrote my own take on it.

It did annoy me somewhat.
Sounds stupid but it was like 'WHAT ABOUT SHEPARD!!!' I know Shepard is meant to be a strong person but that person is human. With the whole galaxy on her/his shoulders.

Bookmarked it and hope that DA works for me later.
If you still have trouble with it, let me know. It's in PDF format, but I'll be happy to either upload it in a different format or simply stick it on my private website if that causes too much trouble.

I got a feeling it's DA. Happens sometimes when I upload or try to view work. But I'll let you know once I read it. <3

I had no idea that letter came from Kai Leng until I read it somewhere. Had no clue what KL meant... I actually thought it was from some angry asari. Still Thessia made me mad though...
You know those Asari, always sending out random hate mail to innocent humans. Gotta watch out for those, Hotmail won't recognize them as spam.
Arg, now I want to replay ME1, but the faces look so funny after playing ME3.

This is a really long video but if you guys have time give it a listen. It shows why the ending is not just bad, it is broken. It does not follow the laws of its own universe as well as the laws of storytelling.

I know. No one was fawning over Garrus after Palaven fell. Liara did at least throw out some platitudes, but that was about it. Then Thessia falls and it's like the Reapers finally arrived were as before it was just a border skirmish. O_o

I know, right? Remember, Joker isn't just in the Charon relay, he's past it. The Charon relay exploding was shown BEFORE the pulse hitting the Normandy. That means he was, like, half-way across the galaxy and had made a number of relay jumps. How early did he leave the battle?

I hope beyond anything that they will have finally realized what they did so horribly wrong in the ending. The fans have done everything they could to explain why.

Also, looks like Patrick Weekes and John Dunborow along with others will be at PAX. Those two are the ones mainly responsible for Tuchanka and I refuse to believe that the guys who wrote that mission had that much input in the ending. In fact, I don't know how the guys who wrote that mission can try to explain the ending with a straight face. Not surprisingly, Casey and Mac will not be there.

I read somewhere (I forget where) that one of the writers had said the only person who had any control over the ending was Mac. That no one else was even let in on how it was going to end.

And yet poor Jessica Merizan stated on her twitter that he never actually made it anywhere near a mass effect relay - said that it would've been too far away for him to get to - but she also said that he was retreating because they were told to pull out or back off or something.
Yeah, it still doesn't make any sense.

I believe this is pretty much the live team (the ones that handle the heavy lifting on post-release content, i.e., DLC).yoshibb wrote...

John and Patrick wrote From Ashes, for instance, and Mike Gamble was the lead producer.
Which is a bit disconcerting, since Ray implied that the release team was the one with the "content initiatives" that were supposed to deal with the problems with the ending, but none of those people are actually going to be there.
Hopefully they don't expect to get away with just talking about Retake Omega and multiplayer map packs.
I don't think Jessica even works in Canada. I'm pretty sure she had no more idea than anybody else what was really happening in that ending. She was just sharing her own thoughts (and a lot of it seemed to be pure fan-fiction/head-canon, not fact).cheinara2 wrote...

The way I see it (makes me less angry about Liara being the favourite <_<) is that she isn't a professional soldier and that Shepard/Garrus/Kaidan are better with dealing with horrors of war. It would have been nice for characters being more attentive to Shepard in the face of it. There are some nice little moments but we needed more especially from our LIs.
I'm not surpirsed that Casey and Mac wouldn't be at PAX, they would have to explain a lot (if they chose to).

Something's gotta give, right? They can't just keep avoiding the questions and hope it'll go away. I mean, we (the outspoken dislikers) will die off eventually (mataphorically. We'll do so literally, too, but not that morbid), but the problem will still exist and be even worse at that point. The longer it's dragged out, the worse and worse it'll get.

I am not a massive Liara fan - I found her pretty bland in the first game and never used her at all, I do like that the character has grown/matured but hate the fact she is forced into the game so much by the writers, she is locked to so many quests. After Thessia my shep just bascially told her to get over it - I didn't take the paragon interrupt to make her feel better or interrupt her when she was shouting at Javik.
I also feel that post-Thessia is kind of rushed, Joker and Garrus are the only people who seem to care about Shep's state of mind at this point, I get the feeling the writers just cba to put a convo in with shep's LI. By this point in the game it all feels so rushed - I know there is a war on so things need to feel hectic but there are no side-missions at this point in the game just priority ones.
Now I am at the point where I am going to TIM's evil lair and just do not know whether to continue or not - the ending is just so bad

On a side note, I'm back to playing ME1 again, taking Kaidan everywhere. One thing I hated in ME3 was the hubs (citadel ect) I missed taking my crew with me on the citadel.
Also I know there's a bit of hate for the Mako but I love it, it was so integrated into the first game, and come second and third there's nothing. Added variety that the 2nd and 3rd lack. Why couldn't we get the Mako back!! It was fine at the Normandy crash site

...Although Kaidan's probably happy it's gone, considering I took him on every mission with me. Including any and all Mako exploration drives. And I can't speak very highly of my extraterrestrial driving skills
Bah, top! Can someone help me out with a Kaidan pic? iPhone hates BBCode with a passion.
