You people are a bad influence. I'd just like you to know that. My husband wasn't pleased with me coming to bed at 5 am this morning because this wouldn't let me put it off.
I hope you're happy.

I guess there are a lot of us who need a lot more Kaidan than the game can offer.

I know I signed up for story alerts on your fic... I think my computer hates me or something, because I didn't get any emails for it updating. And Google Chrome also deleted all of my cookies <_<Annaka wrote...

Oh, I read this yesterday and loved it! Great work!
All of these fanfics and Shenko-y goodness are really distracting me from what I should be doing at the momentBut they're too addicting to pass by.

When it first came out and up until recently I used Chrome extensively, then I found out it opens a new process for every bloody tab you open. No freaking wonder my computer was bogged down, when chrome had like 15 processes running /sigh

...Ohhhhhhh. So THAT'S why my laptop was running at 6GB of physical memory usage yesterday! I was trying to figure out why the heck it was working so hard, when all I had open was MS Word, Photoshop, Sony Vegas, MS Messenger, and Chrome, but the CPU was only at 15%. It was freaking me out, I thought my laptop was possessed or something
I had six Chrome tabs open at the time, though, which now makes a lot of sense. And I'm just overly protective of my lappy.
I switched from Firefox because it was having stability issues (at least on my end) opening anything that needed HTML 5 and Flash Player kept crashing. Plus, I found this totally dorky Matrix skin for ChromeAlthough I do kinda miss my Paragon theme on Firefox.

Mean Kaidan makes me sad [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/crying.png[/smilie] And now I'll be humming the song "The Last Night" all night... You could've named your fic "Walking on Sunshine" or something happier to have stuck in my head. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/lol.png[/smilie] Aw, ignore me, I've been awake for too long. I like how you added Cortez, I'm still trying to figure out how to keep him alive in my second run...

The people who did the charity are
hosting a Retake art/poster/writing competition. I know there are a h*ll
of a lot of creative and talented Kaidanites so I thought I'd pass on
the word.

Yeah, being a computer tech/IT person, I am OCD when it comes to my comptuer, and it absolutely drives me buggy when it's not running right. So I went back to Firefox, 11 seems to be pretty stable thus far.

Aah but you could argue that it IS running correctly, and that process isolation means you can terminate one browsing session (in case of script memory leaks and Flash problems) by killing that one process without bringing down all browser sessions. Also a simple way to ensure CPU use levels over all your cores instead of bogging down one core.... </technobabble>
Usually, it's a borked advert on a site that messes up the thing for everyone - kill that tab you'll be fine
