When it first came out and up until recently I used Chrome extensively, then I found out it opens a new process for every bloody tab you open.  No freaking wonder my computer was bogged down, when chrome had like 15 processes running /sigh

Maybe you replace a few of those with "she" or "Shepard" or "the soldier", basically just something to add a bit of variety to it. I love how you included Cortez, though Garrus will always be my Shep's bro, it's nice to imagine Cortez filling that spot too.[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/joyful.png[/smilie]

About Cortez dying, I didn't know it was possible until I came to the boards. I guess making rounds throughout the ship to talk to everyone after each mission really paid off.

Aah but you could argue that it IS running correctly, and that process isolation means you can terminate one browsing session (in case of script memory leaks and Flash problems) by killing that one process without bringing down all browser sessions. Also a simple way to ensure CPU use levels over all your cores instead of bogging down one core.... </technobabble>

Usually, it's a borked advert on a site that messes up the thing for everyone - kill that tab you'll be fine

Oh don't get me wrong, I understand why and how it works, I just don't like it.  It already annoys me to no end that Windows 7 runs about 60 processes without anything else running in the back ground.  I am old school and freak out when I see more than 30 processes running.  I don't like it, so I will stick with Firefox and it's single process.

I wish I was more of a tech-y person  All I know is more RAM = good, better processor = good. Unfortunately, my brain didn't inform me of graphics cards, so now I'm stuck with a GeForce 540M  Which works, I mean, I can play DA, ME, and all my other games at the highest settings, but I don't know how that'll hold up for future games. And you can't change graphics cards in a laptop, or so I'm told.

Anyways, to bring this back to the subject at hand, here's a Kaidan



My current desktop <3 Photoshop is really a saving grace with screenshots, I gotta say  I hate how Photobucket resizes all images, though.
