Renee Love it!  Yeah, I wondered if he still has his back bump too, but I think yes, I mean, you you look at him in ME1/ME2 from the profile, you don't see his back bump either so I think they've kept it, just made more detailed

Made Nightwing is awesome, he made several excellent points. Comparing Carth to Kaidan fills me with the same kind of hate that makes me want to punch puppies. Saying that they are both whiners sends me over the edge of hate into the black abyss. If my spouse died in my arms and my child went missing for years, you are damn right I would 'whine.' Honestly I'm surprised no one compared Thane to Carth, though their personalities are VERY different they still have the dead wife and lost son thing going on. But I still don't see them the same either. 

As for Kaidan, his story about BAat and Rahna was a cautionary story about what could happen if you act without thinking. His indention was only to stop Vyrnnus, he ending up destroying the relationship he had with a girl he cared about. He is telling this tale to Shepard not to whine about it but hoping that Shepard will learn from his mistake, hell he even says himself that he is over it. That event might have colored his personality making him cautious but that just means he learned from his mistake. I love that he calculates his actions before he does anything. It shows a strong deep character which is worlds different then the brash emotional character we are used to seeing in video games and movies. 

What I'm curious about is if the 'cutting corners' conversation will come back to us in ME3. I can almost see Kaidan saying "I told you so" about the events of Arrival. Adversely, I see Ashely returning to the "Dog and bear" conversation for the same reason.

And for the love of all that's common sense, even Shepard says that Kaidan opening up about this stuff (Rahna, BAaT) isn't being whiny, it's being human. HUMAN.

Joker and Kaidan have to be friends. Or at least rival friends. I think Joker and Kaidan's back and forth at the beginning of ME1 was some of the funniest dialogue.

ahhh this is sweet, I JUST thought, since hawke in DAII had a voice actor, what voice actor would I want for my Warden, and I thought "Man, if Jennifer Hale could do british accent..." lol thx, I'll look for some kotor stuff and listen to her for a while whilst imagening my lady cousland. thehehehe = B
