Legit flycam glitch.  Whipped mouse around too fast and everything inverted.  Text stayed in the same place - that's why I kept it in.  Kaidan's not actually on the ceiling (you can see details in the background are upside down).  Still, I'd like to think Kaidan has a passing knowledge of classical music, particularly by the artist Lionel Richie.

help! having a break down over here!
i have not long finished my dry run, still angry cause i shot my kaidan had to restart mission after i had bi$%h fit and carmed down (recovery took two large chocolate cookies not good)
and now i cant get any of my saved shepherds to import ever only my partners ugly shep imported and now shes not so ugly any more what an i doing wrong?

Shepard didn't have to think about that. "'Aye-aye'," she said immediately. "Right after I ordered him onto the evac shuttles."

Krios gazed at her over the hands folded in front of his lips. "Do you think that's what he wanted to tell you?" he asked.

She opted for the easy way out. "Of course," she said. "The ****ing ship was blowing up under our feet. If he'd said anything else, I would have killed him myself. He knew that."

Krios just looked at her.

Her throat worked for a moment. So much for the easy way. "If he'd known I was going to die though," she said slowly... She took a deep breath and let it out. "Probably not. He probably would have... mentioned something else."

Krios nodded slightly. "And what was the last thing Commander Alenko said to you today?"

She didn't have to think about that either. "'Yes, ma'am'," she said. "Right after I ordered him to sort out his business with Miranda, as I was leaving."

She knew what Krios was going to say before he said it and her head was already dropping into a hand when he repeated gently, "Do you think that's what he wanted to tell you?"

She sighed, letting her hand drop back down to the table.

"Probably not," she admitted tiredly.Krios reached a hand out.

After a moment's hesitation, Shepard placed hers in his. His skin was dry and warm.

"Our destiny is to die, siha," Krios said quietly. "Those like us... that is our destiny. Our fate. Our place. Our duty is to make sure those we protect and leave behind do not have to live with the scars of it."

Shepard squeezed his hand then released it. "I have to go," she said.

i'd maybe contact EA support? they might have a solution for you... google is also your friend.. there's been a few glitches with save files etc.. there might be a simple solution online for you

Have any of you ever been to adult fan fiction.
fortunesque ( who I havent seen around lately now I think of it () wrote a shenko piece and has it on it. its called "Parallax".
I don't think it ever got finished but it has some really funny moments.
Gave me loads of giggles hehe

(and for those of you who havent been there... Parallax is good ... some of the stories are not for... the faint of heart lol)

i love jaerwolfe. her stories were the first mass effect fanfiction i ever read.

i wish when i had played my final run through of ME1 i had actually done the moon base mission. everytime i get to the end of me3 and they talk about how edi came about i'm like gosh darnit! why didnt i play that mission?! i wanna talk to her about it! but alas, i dont have the will to go back and play ME1, ME2, and ME3 again. its too much

Ashley is just abrasive which some people don't like. I personally enjoyed talking to her, but I can see how her personality might turn people off. It's certainly better than the excuses for hating Kaidan.

You mean he gives his backstory, he's not an alien, and he doesn't blindly follow your every command. Yeah, those normal people really get on my nerves <_<

I haaate how much crap the VS gets. I didn't realize how unpopular Ash was as well because I was more concerned with Kaidan, but jeez. Both of them get torn apart just because they don't blindly follow Shepard and choose to question Shepard instead (which I think is perfectly valid, given the fact that Shepard died, and then joined a terrorist organization).

Honestly I like the human characters better than the aliens. I don't hate the aliens at all, but I have a special spot for the humans. Especially Kaidan.

I love the Mars mission SO MUCH.

Yeah, I can't stand the hate Ash/Kaidan get for not being a blind Shepard loyalist. I think there's a lot of things Tali and Garrus fans don't consider when it comes to them.

1.) They are in the Alliance, and have their own lives. Garrus doesn't really have anything better to do: He was a viligante on Omega who would have been killed not for Shepard. Tali went through proper channels and received clearance from the Admiralty Board. Ash and Kaidan did not.

2.) Ash and Kaidan both have infinitely more reason to hate Cerberus because they are both humans, and military brats. This is more prominent with Ash than it is Kaidan, but while Cerberus has an obvious xenophobia for aliens, they claim to be making things better for humanity as a whole, including the VS. Given Ash's determined desire to prove she's not a weakling, and Kaidan's morality, it would set them off a lot more than Tali, who can simply hate Cerberus for it's xenophobia.

3.) While not true for Ash, Kaidan has no reason to simply "fall in line" behind Shepard: Kaidan outranks him: Major is higher than Commander. Shepard has no authority to give Kaidan orders. 

4.) Tali and Garrus found out about Shepard by accident, Ash/Kaidan found out through second-hand rumors that Shepard was working with Cerberus, then had the rumors confirmed. Even if Shepard wanted to contact them, it never actually happened. How would you react when your best friend supposedly died, came back to life, and joined a terrorist organization, all the while not bothering to let you know they were, at the very least, okay. 

5.) As ME3 showed us, Ash and Kaidan were right: Shepard couldn't trust Cerberus.

I think with all the VS hate, The Horizon exchange didn't help things at all. I was glad Tali and Garrus decided to help my Shepard through ME2 even though they had their doubts. But if Kaidna/Ashley did the same, the friendship/love plot I think wouldn't have developed as well as it did. Of course they were spared from the Suicide Missions as well. It added drama to it and I loved it but I know some people might have hated it as well.
