But that's projection. BW has a serious hard-on for Asari - no pun intended. They're a neat race, but personally I prefer Turians.

The way they fell over themselves to make everyone depressed about Thessia falling kinda confirmed that. I'm into the mysterious races.  How about that new Avian race we heard about from Cerberus News?

Huh, judging by the 26 emails I just received, I'd say ff.net fixed their email issues!

There were those 2 krogan on the Citadel in ME2 arguing about fish and one of them mentions Asari being "too squishy."   Asari fulfill that "sexy female exotic alien" requirement of sci-fi.  It's right up there with "sexy female android."  I guess Mass Effect pulled off both of those.

I finished my insanity playthrough last night, and knowing how the game ends takes a lot of the pressure off and makes me appreciate the smaller moments during the rest of the game.  Whereas the first time I was extremely anxious about reaching the end, this time I'm renegading a lot of the "How do you feel?" questions, because I'm not afraid anymore because I know the ending will be bad.  Also, I don't know whether it was subconscious or not, but I died more times facing Marauder Shields than any other time in the game... combined.  Then I was frustrated that I was putting so much effort for an ending which I didn't like anyway but I finally beat him, put my fingers in my ear *lalalalala* through the magic space kid and then destroyed the reapers.

Well I was gonna say that umm well this all boils down to the majority of male demographic. Ever seen a video game without a sexy female character... even any dev teams consist of male mostly. When I was working in an outsource studio, I was the only female in a team of 10 males... so yeap.

The only Asari I like are Aethyta and Samara. I just need to find Samara better clothes but a lot of guys seem to be put off by her because she is "cold". I'm quite sad by the lack of armor the female squaddies wear (compared to Shep and my canon is a Soldier)... Even Ash sadly took this in... Yeah she has one outfit that feels like armor but why the hell do I want to equip her in a +shield outfit. Her +weapon damage outfit is umm... not armored enough for her I guess. Just feels weird looking at her going Heavy Armor in ME1 to Light Armor outfit in ME3. Well not complaining maybe... cos I really like Kaidan's new look in Heavy Armor...



Speaking of Ash, I am quite disappointed. Shame cos I really like her in ME1, somehow she seems to take a depressing chill pill, doesn't interact with anybody or show any interest towards anybody else. She also does not move around in the Normandy and has no dialogue whatsoever in the Normandy (we get at least 2 with Kaidan). She only gets drunk once but that's about it. Her Citadel hang out scene is sombre and uhh her sister got a lazier design than Orianna Lawson.

As far as romance content (only) goes, I can safely say that Liara does not get much more than Kaidan. So I guess that's good. She only seems to be the teammate that's "in your face" because of the amount of forced plot that she has (even my Datapad app is flooded with her messages). And Kaidan's romance is way better anyway so I guess we can be pretty content with it.

Oh and I found Officer Circle's name. He is called Ensign Copeland, found him chilling with Garrus and Javik when he is not on his usual routine of circling the Normandy. Apparently, he's supposed to have an argument with Allers but I never finds it. Maybe because I kicked her out after my first playthrough (even Kaidan doesn't like her lol). 20 war assets is no big deal.

Wondering if anybody here has a playthrough where they sacrifice the original council in ME1 but has Kirrahe alive? Got a question about it - need it to update my OP of war assets here.

Nope, you're wrong. In the Mass Effect canon, Major is indeed a higher rank than Commander.

The CO of a ship is always in-charge, regardless of ranks. Any time Kaidan is on the Normandy, he's subject to Shepard's commands. Additionally, Shepard is a Council Spectre, and even when Kaidan becomes a Spectre, Shepard retains the authority of seniority.

That said, I've always gotten the impression that Kaidan would follow Shepard out of habit unless he knew Shepard was leading him wrong.

Nice to see I am not the only one to love Kaidan :-) I have loved his character since me1. I don't usually post on forums but I could not help myself this time whit all the nice comments about him since the majority prefers Liara, why I will never understand.

I am curious about something, I have noticed that on missions Kaidan often tells me to watch out or asks if I am okay, is this li specific dialogue? Does anyone know? I remember in me1 it was li specific.

One more opinion on Kaidan's Ardat-Yakshi quote: I think Kaidan may have an Asari fetish.  The reaction (reaction silly Freudian typos) in Chora's Den, the discussion with dudeShep about Liara, the Noveria extranet line.  It's rather amusing and adds more humanity to his character.  Some guys like redheads, some like plaid skirts, Kaidan likes blue aliens.

He's so sexy and ahhh, Kaidan just knows how to get your heart strongs tugging xD

@ Josie, I just got it when you finish the quest just before Earth, you go talk to them all and he says it then.. or maybe it was the Sanctuary quest... either way.. its toward the end..

Kaidan and Liara? At least... strange. I you do not romance both, Kaidan would be a suitable boyfriend for... James or Cortez Kaidan seems to be a "nice guy" type, so he needs either a nice guy, or a rather... "tough" one/hunky-type?

I think you're being trolled with regards to Kaidan/Liara, she was only ever interested in Shepard...and Kaidan was never interested in anyone but Shep as well.. I've never heard anywhere on any forum that they hook up if Shenko doesnt happen...

Nice work! I never paid too much attention to which random crewmate was arguing with Allers, but naturally I sided with him over Reporter Barbie.

Slightly destroys the idea I had for an Officer Circle video to the tune of the Benny Hill theme, but I do feel better knowing that he has more than one purpose now

Eh I will see what BioWare intends to do with the ending. I brought Kaidan to almost every mission after the Citadel Coup and I honestly can't remember if he has unique dialogue in missions if he's the LI. Maybe one day I'll do a NG+ of my canon Soldier Shep, a Shenko playthrough just makes the ending feel so much bitter...seems cruel for Kaidan who waited three freaking years for Shepard only to have space magic happen. Don't care so much with other LI playthrough lol... especially Liara (although I'm having great fun with a Sentinel playthrough, by far my fave class... Liara's romance so far is not really that good imo).

But yeah I don't know where this rumor comes from. Seems weird I guess since Kaidan already stated that Liara is not his type back in ME... Seems more appropriate that if Virmire and Shenko never happen, pretty sure Ash and Kaidan will hit it... just not... Liara... sounds so out-of-character for both.



The Garrus and Tali is kinda cute though... Also if you have Dr. Michel on board... Garrus is quite the popular guy on the Normandy haha...

I seriously want to see the scene where the two argues, it's about Terra Nova I think but like I said never found it in any of my 4 playthorugh. Guess I just can't stand Aller's voice so much that I ignored/kicked her out.

Yeah, they're talking about some colonies that have been hit by the Reapers
She keeps saying that sacrifice them for the sake of the others (gaining time and blah blah) is a price worth paying and he argues back; if you support him Shepard will tell Allers to quit her rambling or GTHO of the ship

Only 20 points my dear, only 20. May I direct you to my thread (shameless self-promotion) which lists all of the war assets in the game. It makes 20 seems like such a puny number.

And I'm so willing to let that 20 go because the girl does not respect Zaeed and Kaidan who are two of my fave squadmates. Also if I'm not mistaken, I recalled Jessica Chobot saying that she did not know who Kaidan is (something about oh I killed him and I forgot about him thing).

So wanting Javik or Officer Circles to space her out.

That's cool I guess, I didn't really pay attention to combat cries because playing on Hardcore & Insanity means I have to pay attention to the battle more (1 hit insta-kill grenade sucks). Well umm if I like the fixed ending, I will gladly play my soldier again

But for some reason "ENEMIES EVERYWHERE" just popped on my mind lol.
