You romanced Kaidan but picked Ash to save on Virmire?? How could you?? lol. I have a question for you, though: does Ash mention you and Kaidan being close at all once back aboard the Normandy? How that might've been a super hard choice because he was your LI? Just curious, since I've never *not* picked Kaidan to live in my FemShep playthroughs, for obvious reasons.

She guilt trips me pretty hard about it, but I don't know if that was any different than in a playthrough where I hadn't been following through on the romance up until that point.

And I haven't touched that save since completing it. I don't like ME2 enough to slog through it, and the endings of ME3 haven't inspired me to go through ME2 again to complete it just to see. And from what I'm hearing about the only really different stuff I'd get would be Ken and Gabby's dialogue's. Now, if I decided to go after Garrus with that femShep ... Maybe I might do that playthrough and break the tragedy Shep idea. I really like what they did with Garrus.

But it would be sad not to see Kaidan.

Yeah, I kinda had to force myself through my male Shep's ME3 playthrough because of the distinct lack of Kaidan...

So then as soon as I finished that I booted up ME1 and relived his romance all over again to make amends.

No clue, really. Inverting the second pic helps to see the general shape, but aside from that, you can't make out anything specific.

I think the thing is that the romance flag isn't set until *after* Virmire, so romancing Kaidan only to leave him on Virmire doesn't affect the dialogue whatsoever.

Thanks for this!  Yeah, still can't tell what this is either. I just hate that Vega's looks so clear while Kaidan's looks like a white blob.  Thanks for trying!

Just replayed Thessia and I gotta agree with you guys now. I think Kaidan should've had a scene like Garrus did. First, he's only worried about Liara and then he gives the 'Kai Leng is getting his ass kicked next time' line, and it just seems so out of character. That seems like something Ashley would say, not Kaidan.

I don't mind talking to Liara and comforting her, but even Tali had some reassuring dialogue for Shepard. It was so off that my LI has no dialogue there.

As a straight man, there are only so many times I can romance and save Kaidan before it gets...weird.  He's still one of my favourite characters, but I like Ashley a lot too.  She's got spunk.

I think the only difference is the Love Theme plays on throughout the Normandy until you pick the next mission (if you leave Kaidan and you're femshep). That music is a guilt trip.

Ok that made me laugh:lol: I think they would frown upon that at a library as well:P
Ok I will say that Thane is the only other one I romanced and I did tell myself that he would die in ME3. I didn't expect that they would totally sideline his romance though. However, I didn't know they were gonna screw over femshep that bad. Thane dying yes I predicted that one but Jacob gets another girl preggy!!! All of mshep LI from ME2 are still available. All the LI's from ME2 really got the **** deal. I feel so bad for anyone who only romanced someone from ME2 "new" characters. I have been trying to stay away from ME3 because the more I think about this game the more things I notice that felt rushed and the ME2 romances got shafted.

Yes, but you have to use mods to add Kaidan as a squad member, since you can't get Kaidan as a squadmember until after the coup. But this got me thinking, I didn't make this gif so I don't know, but if you don't do the stand off scene right one of your squad will shoot the VS. So in theory if you mod the game you could have Kaidan shoot Kaidan.

Which by the way, the squad member shooting Kaidan thing has me completely terrified of the stand off scene. I didn't know it was possible until after I beat the game the first time. In my second playthrough I was sweating bullets because I thought I would somehow mess up and everything would go horribly wrong.

It's a pity that biotic Shep cannot get this blue aura while performing cerfain attacks... Actually, both should become blue then for a nicer view
