Major Kaidan Alenko in ME3: We're going to need a bigger boot.

No no no, I didn't mean that kind of steamy either. It seems so impersonal.
Maybe I just got steamy confused, since anything with Kaidan is steamy. I suppose I just mean another romantic cut-scene.

I was stupid enough to visit another thread on the BSN ... and got prompty reminded why I shouldn't do it
all you get is angered and then I remembered this and didn't bother posting a reply ...
EDIT:
also, I like steamy-ish fanart, but I don't want the scenes in the game

the one where someone got angry at Casey because he mentioned that about 1/5th play as femShep and that they could have cut that work out long ago and how she feels BioWare has no love for female gamers
my problem with this ...
1.) apparently BioWare not only did NOT cut this, they also plan to make a separate femShep trailer and she will be featured on the cover of the ME3 game case (I can already hear some purists whine about 'but she's only on the back ... BioWare hates us/doesn't care about us, blablabla', letting people vote for a look for femShep along the way
2.) excuse me, did someone change the gender flag on my life?!
when was being female a requirement for playing femShep, because she made it sound like BioWare dislikes female players by mentioning that they could have cut the content of femShep
female player =/= playing as female
there ... I vented
frankly, I didn't bother reading through the 5 or so pages that thread had, I know some people pointed out that she completely turned the comment that they could have cut it against BioWare, but I don't know if anyone pointed out that this is in no way against female players ...
why do I bother ... just stick to the Kaidan thread ... and MEC
off to draw something to calm down ... sorry the sketches of the last two day where just pen on paper and without a scanner there is no proper way of showing them

I would call myself a feminist but I just can't deal with all that stuff. Well not a tradtional feminist anyway but that's another subject.
Pretty much every thread annoys me now, save this one
I only go onto technical/combat stuff now. I avoid the s/s threads, anything against the VS etc and now the "blonde Shep" argument.
I stay safe here with Kaidan. <3
I'm just no good in an argument, I just get upset. I'm too sensitive. *sigh*
Kaidan wouldn't judge haha.
Pulled my back out at work, so I'm pretty much bedridden, was going to boot up ME1 but my Tv is tiny and I have to sit right in front of it so. *cries*

and as the expression on Kaidan's face suggests, the next one won't be happy ... so with my current mood I needed something to cheer me up instead
so, I drew a continuation of rabbitzorro's picture of Kaidan (assuming it is Kaidan preparing that note to see if Shepard likes him); no message to keep it gender neutral, but it appears the answer is yes
my mShep's answer would be "of course, silly!"

Well, don't have any in stock, but I can certainly give you directions to the market: jhourney.deviantart.com/
Saw that thread too. It could have been an interesting discussion, but derailed into the usual garbage. I didn't read far enough in to see if people started complaining and calling the opposing viewpoint whiners (like in the ME movie thread - hilarious!). As a wise one once said, "jerks and saints".
Remember, it's nice to come home to the Kaidan thread.

I'm not too annoyed with what Bioware's done considering they are one of the only game companies that actually lets me play as a female warrior without all the "OMG, boobies!" bull****. What irritates me are the people who insist that a female soldier cannot save the galaxy or even hurt her enemies because of her "inferior strength." I remember getting into a long argument about the scene with Shepard punching Saren in the face. People in that thread insisted that in reality if Femshep tried that, Saren would have not moved and simply laughed in her face. Seriously, they actually said that exact phrase.
That's what gets my feminism fire flaring. The fact that in a world filled with talking squids and dinosaurs, people tossing things around with their minds, and giant setinent beings bent on wiping out the galaxy, its the female soldiers that they can't wrap their minds around. Arg, it gets me angry just thinking about it

EDIT: also before I leave this easy comfy office job for my job at video game store I felt I should leave my bored sketch I did at work. Not smutty this time. I put an outline around it for hoots and giggles and now I think it makes it seem like biotics which is kinda a cool afterthought/affect.

And that proves that at least with gender-neutrailty, BioWare managed to write Shepard perfectly. I for example feel Shep fits more as a male, but just as you, it's only my personal feelings based on the fact I roll male Sheps. But if two people can get a strong "Shep fit this gender more" feeling that contradict each other, then it means BW did a good job!Oddlyotter wrote...
I can't stand that. I think Shepard fits more as a female. Story line wise. The whole strong female thing kinda adds to the "against all odds" feel of shepard. That's why I think Kaidan is the perfect LI because he fits the whole femshep strong female role!

Kaidan: "Not so loud, she might hear you."
Followed by:

Kaidan: "...not again."

Kaidan: "I thought we agreed that there would be no more punching idiots." <_<
Shepard: "... I don't remember agreeing to that."

haha, I've been play WoW a lot lately so taking a crack at with already excisting reference as Galaxy of Fantasy...how can i resist! XD I dream of drawing them as their in-game character, but i can't possibly image the races in GoF lol
LOL!!! As a former WoW addict, this is not funny!Because I'd be farming that mount...
Great, now you have me wondering who would play what in Galaxy of Fantasy (saying it's based on WoW). Kaidan would
probably be a tank of some sort, probably a tauren pally lol! Garrus has to be a rogue, or maybe a hunter. Jacob would be healer, probably druid or priest. Jack would be spriest, but sure as stuff wouldn't heal a darn person..or maybe a lock. Grunt would be fury warrior PvPaholic lol! Miranda, a belf mage or nelf druid. Joker would be a ganking little gnome rogue. (Of course, my Shep would make them all play Horde lol!)
Oh man, imagine raid night on the Normandy!
I like to imagine it has whole different races and factions, and not a blunt rip off WoW with different name lol
