Somehow I don't see Kaidan with a kitten. I always figured him as more of a dog type. Something like a mastiff. And he'd give it a name with just a tough of whimsy.

Then again, I'm hardly one to talk.  I named my kitten Ser Pounce-a-lot.  He is currently sitting on my desk, plotting now to nibble at the birdies outside.

I have little to no originality in names... My girls are Mirax (after Mirax Terrik Horn in Star Wars EU) and the other was supposed to be Mara (after Mara Jade) but ended up being Kiki thanks to my stepsons.

I could totally see him giving Shepard an overly arrogant coal black Tom cat named Sovereign or maybe Harbinger.


And I am a total cat person with four of my own. Two elderly boys named Gizmo and Fritz. A middle aged tortie named Salsa (nick-named Pissy-Missy, bad, bad attitude) and the youngest named Peeps for her eyes and her habit of trilling when she decides to do something.

And on the subject of dogs, I still want to get a German Shepherd and name it Shepard. People will think I'm the most uncreative owner ever. 
I'm a cat person, too  I had eight last November, but two got hit by cars and one recently went missing... Kitten theft is a big issue where I live, a lot of people steal kittens when they're about six months old, so the owner's already spayed/neutered them. Free cat + no vet fees, it's a really scumbag thing to do. And I've got a Gizmo as well, although I hate him.

D'AWWWWW.  Harby the obnoxious, entitled kitty.  With yellow eyes.  That's amazing.

I am equally a dog person and a cat person.  And a bunny and birdie and ferret and hedgehog and...I just love animals!  Though when I get a dog, the name Padfoot still takes priority.

I'm sure this has been asked or otherwise has come up through the course of this thread, but... how do Kaidan and Garrus interact with each other if you romanced Kaidan, and then Garrus? Do they have anything to say about it to you or each other? Does it matter if you dump Garrus for Kaidan in ME3?

I saw videos of Tali and Ashley sniping at each other like jealous schoolgirls, but it's hard to imagine Kaidan and Garrus doing that.

No answer?  Oh well, maybe I'll end up romancing Garrus at some point in ME2. He's just been too much my bro to consider in that way though. Always feels like it would ruin that awesome level of friendship they have.

Lak14 - Congratulations!  I'm so jealous my eyes are bleeding. How did we not get word of this contest in the Kaidan thread?

Uirebhiril - I completed a playthrough where Shep moved on to Garrus and stayed with him in ME3. There was absolutely no discussion of it between Garrus and Kaidan. They def. did not want to talk about it. I'll have to youtube the Ash/Tali comments, I bet they're hysterical.

I see Kaidan as a dog person instead of cat. But maybe that's just my own bias. *cough*someoneshouldphotoshopKaidanwithapuppy*cough* If he got a dog after ME1, I bet it would be named Shepard. Otherwise, good candidates are Ash or maybe Nexus or Omni or something techy.

That annoyed me greatly, you think the Asari would have mentioned the beacon before the Reapers decided to attack thier homeworld. Bought it on themselves really which sounds harsh but they could have prevented it especially since everyone else was buliding the crucible (which they thought to be prothean design). 

This, so verry much this.  Liara was in deep denial about it but I wanted to scream at the Asari Councilor that she and her ilk might have cost us the war over their own, stupid pride.  Instead I had to say things that made it sound like I singlehandedly gave Thessia to the Reapers.  And then Kaidan doesn't want to talk about it!  <_<
