I took the Destroy ending--which to me is not the most satisfactory, but I felt it was better than forcibly turning everyone into Cylons or telling the Reapers to GTFO (with no guarantee that they wouldn't try their shenanigans again millenia hence).

The Joker slide made me cry like a baby.


edit: Ah frell, ToP and I don't have a Kaidan to post. Dammit!

The epilogue for the synthesis ending made me not hate it.  Against Destroy, I can actually see how there could be trade-offs/benefits of choosing one over the other.  I hope BW gets a chance to take a look at it.  It's much more in line with what I expected from the game.

OMG, and the Kaidan slides!    or depending on how it goes down.  So fantastic!

Haha. I was the one who asked the person to make this (he had made a video with just Shepard on the background, so I asked for credits and he made this)

I've always thought about song too! Especially when FemShep meets Kaidan on Horizon...

No but that actually works too! It would have meant a lot to me that bioware acknowledged that everything we did meant nothing. Would have seemed more like it was in the plan.

This one actually has it playing for the synth ending. 
 (We'll see if this works). Makes me feel better about the ending actually.

And yep. Horizon is what made me think of that song. I'm sure it was a slap in the face for Kaidan. He just didn't know how to react. I think if we had been able to ask him again later he might have considered it or at least understood why Shep was doing it.

Oh she successfully ninjamanced me in one of the epilogues I put in.   Shep married Kaidan, but still had a daughter with Liara.  I like how true it stayed to the original BioWare vision.  (heh, heh)

in the endding i Made up, Liara went into the crucalbie and died after picking red.. not shepard, who was  knocked out and Slowly bleeding to death..before Kaidan Found her...

The crew of the SSV Normandy, minus Commander Shepard, were extracted in the chaos following Operation: Hammer's disastrous final push. Shortly thereafter Shepard succeeded in discharging the Crucible, and the resultant shockwave of energy swept the Normandy through a destabilized mass effect relay. The ship and crew were presumed destroyed.

However, after Shepard returned to active duty, heshe campaigned tirelessly for the recovery of the Normandy. Years later, when the first intragalactic travel corridors were finally restored, Shepard personally led the team that discovered Normandy survivors crash-landed on a garden world. A lucky holovid still captured Shepard and Kaidan Alenko at the moment of their reunion, locked in a passionate embrace. He lives in a synthesis ending.

I did one just to see how they spun it, but it nearly broke my heart to see poor Kaidan all alone and depressed because I had Jade do the synthesis and die. All the squaddies are on rotation checking on him like he a grandparent who's lost his spouse. You know - like my grandfather and now all my dad and his brothers and sisters take turns checking in to spend time with him.

Edit: Oh, and for the record, I was trying to Photoshop a picture of Kaidan with a German Shepherd puppy, but couldn't find a good screenshot of Kaidan without scouring through my video files and print screening still shots. I eventually gave up and made a "Deal With It" Kaidan instead

Better than Hawaiian Kaidan, but not as good as Fiesta Kaidan or Cupcake Kaidan, IMO.

this was great... omg.. why is it so easy for fans to get the endings right and so freaking hard for the game creators to bork things up so badly *headdesk*

@ Lady Winde... zomg.. you are truly amazing, I watched some of that being done the other night and as a total art spaz myself I'm always amazed to see something created as I have absolutely no ability to draw whatsoever... it came out amazing!!
I look forward to seeing you draw more!

I was doing research for a fic and was checking out the timeline for ME and Kaidan supposedly signs up for the Alliance a year after Shep does. I totally head cannoned the two of them seeing each other around "campus" and then accidentally hooking up after getting a wee bit tipsy at a party. Then they don't see each other until the Normandy and both are too embarrassed to talk about that night.

@lady winde - That is so awesome! If Kaidan had been looking at me like that I probably would have forgotten all about the datapad. Reports? What reports? XD

Edit: ToP but on my mobile. It sadly lacks Kaidan pics
